DOWNLOAD I updated this mod, because I could pick up very detailed map of the area. Now the line is very detailed and accurate. The line width and color is also changed. For LockOn 1.02 and 1.1x, Use LoMan 2.1 or ModMan to install.

Hello everyone! :bye_2: I've working for a few weeks now on a new mod for FC that aims to recreate actual and fictional (within realistic posibilities and keeping the "fun factor" in mind) Peruvian Air Force (FAP), Army (EP) and Navy (MGP) aircraft. This mod - which I have undertaken as a personal project - will feature the following characteristics: - Peru as a selectable country within the Coalitions menu - Five flyable aircraft - Over a dozen non-flyable planes and helos, depicting actual and "what-if" Peruvian Air Force, Army and Navy units, including AEW and refuelling aircraft - OPFOR based on American units that participated in the joint exercise "Falcon-Condor" earlier this year Realistic equipment: - MiG29S 'Fulcrum-C' (flyable) - Su25 'Frogfoot' - Mirage 2000 (M2000-5 in game - Air Superiority and Attack camo schemes - flyable) - Su22M 'Fitter-J' (Su17M4 in game) - C-130 Hercules - Antonov An26 'Curl' (Replacing An32 - Air Force, Army and Navy colours) - Mil Mi25 'Hind' (Mi24 in game) - Mi8T 'Hip' (Air Force and Navy colours) - Mi26 'Halo' (Army) - Augusta ASH-3D Sea King (SH-3 Sea King in game - Navy) - Augusta AB212 ASW (Navy) "What-if" equipment: - Su25T 'Frogfoot' (in new Su25UBK FAP camo scheme - flyable) - Su30 'Flanker' (flyable) - A50 'Mainstay' AEW aircraft - IL76 'Candid' - IL78 'Midas' airborne tanker Opposing Force (USAF and Air National Guard) - F-16C Fighting Falcon - E-3 Sentry AWACS - C-17 Globemaster III - C-130 Hercules Now here are some shots just to show off my work :D This is what I have already completed so far: Sukhoi Su25 from Air Group 11 (GRU11): Check out that Frogfoot driver :P Mil Mi25 'Hind' from Air Group 2 (GRU2): Mirage 2000 from Air Group 4 (GRU4)]in new Air Superiority colour scheme (older Attack camo pattern will also be available, I'll be taking care of that this weekend): And here are some units I'm currently working in as we speak: An26 in standard Navy colours: Mi8T (Air Force): US Air Force pilot from 34th Fighter Squadron ("Rude Rams") of Hill AFB (Utah) like the ones who participated in the joint, multi-national exercise "Falcon-Condor 2007": I want this mod to be top-quality, so don't expect it to be finished anytime soon. However, make no mistake it will be finished and released; I wish all of you to have as much fun using it as I'm having now, making it. So, I'll be updating any progress as often as I can. Sorry if this has been posted already. What is the scenario in Black Shark going to be? And why are the A-10 and the AH-64A second on the to-do list? Wouldn't it be more fitting for a Caucasus scenario to have more flyable RUSFOR planes included, rather than Western equipment?

As for the best, the Mig 29 to take out the F-15. The Mig 29 is a much better Fighter jet than most. The US had to build a new Jet to deal whith the 29 wala the F-22. The mig had the first head tracking missle lock system to be employed. The down fall that the USSR had was their training was not as good as the US training. And yes thoes migs and SUs are sexy looking arnt they.:P

This is normal, I think. If you're an American and you're looking at any and all things related to aerial combat, you'll be inundated with F-16s, F-15s, F-14s, F this, F that, etc, etc, etc. An American lay person wouldn't be caught dead in anything Russian since they're the "bad guys" and Western stuff is "always better". After all, thats what Hollywood and the History Channel say. :P When you get a taste of the other side, it feels rather exotic and you'll reach a point that will last for quite a while where the domestic stuff just seems uninteresting no matter how much better it may or may not be. I started backwards and worked my way to the domestic stuff. I played Flanker 2.5 and 2.51 first. I picked it up due to my love of Cold War history and the allure of flying an "enemy" jet. I learned how to fly a fighter jet using Russian-style avionics. I never did any research on relative quality, I just knew that my R-27s were SARH, R-77s were ARH, and R-73s were IR and I didn't care to know anymore. Since then I've done more research and flown more vFighters and now I can firmly say that I prefer the Western or more specifically, American approach to avionics. At first I found it very unintuitive compared to the Russian stuff but now I heavily prefer it. The MiG-29 and Su-27 lines are still two of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing aeroplanes ever constructed, IMO. The Zhuravlik will always be my first fighter jet. Russian combat helicopters just look brutish, tough, and mean, which I like. :)

СОВЕТ: Если просто не успел посмотреть на скрины в текущей ветке, то они перенесены вот сюда http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=27778&page=2, обрати внимание на проработку текстур на "Бисмарке", посты в самом конце ветки, не идал, но там можно почерпнуть массу полезного для себя, я не просто так думаю, я практически уверен. Внимательно посмотреть и вобрать самое лучшее для себя никогда не помешает.

Ни-и-ипра-а-авильно ты Дядя Фё-о-одор объя-и-исняеш-шь... (С) Никакого канала прозрачности иже альфа-канала у графического формата *.tga нет, также, как вообще нет никаких каналов. Есть возможность записи *.tga как в 24-битном, так и в 32-битном формате, в которых три основных байта выделяются на запись RGB компонент битмапа, а ещё один байт для записи дополнительного изображения в 8-битном формате. Что это будет, каждый может решить для себя сам. :) Как правило, этот дополнительный байт используется для хранения альфа-маски (не канала! а именно маски, это принципиально), но его также можно использовать для хранения чего угодно, например глоссмапа, или лайтмапа, или маску самосвечения (селфиллюма, кстати не обязательно чёрно-белую) или реакшн-маску для отработки клика мыши или тач-скрина. Так что поуглублённее проработай ещё этот вопрос.

ТГА(*.tga) - это формат графических файлов, имеющий канал прозрачности (альфа-канал). Подробности в гугле.

I respectfully disagree with you RedTiger. When time is very limited, and you can only fly from time to time, it is much better time wise to learn a pre-exsisting good profile from someone that is versed in creating them. I've tried in the past to make my own profile, but I always get errors or don't understand it. Both really. I have a new baby, and am now a stay at home Father, and very busy with her. If I had to build a profile in order to fly BS well, I guess I would have to pass on it. So to me and many others, when time flying is at a premium, it's better to learn a profile than learn the Foxy program for my Cougar and build one. And I thank everyone that takes the time to build these and post them for guys like me.

My better half is cool with my simming/gaming in general, as long as I don't wake her up with loud noises when she sleeps, and gets some attention when she wants it. Which usually is, strangely enough, just when I'm in the middle of a multiplayer-fight and flying for my life :megalol: When it comes to new things, I practice the "Easier to get forgiveness than permission"-policy. What she doesn't know/see doesn't hurt her. And if she notices, I have contingencyplans and/or excuses ready. Plus a coffin and a pre-dug grave, of course :D

classic thread, my wife is sweet with it all, she does her thing i do mine. by no means are we rich, not even well off, but never get told no if i want something new, i would have trouble dealing with that. we both work hard so why not enjoy it now and then, she's getting better but i usually have to tell her to buy something she likes, so hows that for a turn up for the books. as others have said, there's a lot worse you could be doing than gaming with mates online. sure it can be expensive, but its all relative. if they quiz you about a pc part etc, remind them that last week she had her hair done, and 2moro its off to get the nails fixed that only need fixing because she got them done in the first place etc etc, hehe.

you're right about that memory thing My wife remembers EVERYTHING I ever said or did, with seeming emphasis on what I did that ticked her off. Men let go. Women let build. If memory was money they'd make a killing on interest alone!:smartass: And nothing grieves me more than to have my wife try to relate how something I did eons ago is relevant to the arguement at hand. She has quite a database too as we've been married for nearly 32 years now!:cry: If I had committed manslaughter back then I'd at least have been a free man by now!:megalol: shhhhh!!! here she comes!:noexpression:

Hi Hellcat61 :) Looks like your graphics.cfg was not correctly updated (all the textures of the mod seems to be missing). Could you please try to force the reinstall or the mod ? And could you tell us which version of ModMan you are using ? :) Cheers :) HuB.
