  1. DOWNLOAD For Lock On 1.1x only. Please use LoMan or ModMan to install. This is newly arranged LOD (level of details) system of ground vehicles and wrecks. This mod was started by Mustang's request, but turns out a bit differently. If you are a ground pounder, you will love this mod. Thanks for the inspiration, Mustang. -Vehicles LOD switching will occur at 2x further range than the original. -Vehicles will have more properly sized lower detail (box) models. -Destroyed planes will have more details at close range. -Destroyed vehicles will be unshown at far range. (Only burnt grounds will be shown.) -Broken wings on the ground will be unshown at far range. You may have some fps improvement if there are many destroyed vehicles around, and some fps drop if there are many live vehicles in close range. But, in most cases the performance changes will be unnoticeable.

Recently CAT 101 and I began discussing about pit building for BlackShark, talking about the panels, the switches, buttons, how they should work, how to build them etc. As both of us are located in North California, we are looking for others in CA to join the group. We hope to collaborate ideas, share sketches, learn from each other, chat through MSN, teamspeak etc. Of course this great forum is still a resource of inspiration and ideas for us. eg. Triggerhappy has been sharing his wonderful progress. But it'd be even better if we can meet up physically within decent driving distance, get together and talk about the various switches, buttons, dimension, layout etc. and show our stuff to each other and analyse the challenges as a group. Hope some of you will join us! :smilewink:

  13. reg_zero Да забей ты. Это бесполезно. Типа "деды" летают исключительно на истребителях и дела им нет до штурмов. И никогда они не пойдут на ярлычки потому что им и так хорошо, а остальным это "не спортивно". Когда то я спросил почему на су25 не работает целеуказание ведомому. Мне ответили - типа "нет такой функции в реале". На моё замечание, дык ведь в реале я могу и голосом скомандовать ведомому - атакуй мою цель или там шилку, тунгуску или ещё какую хрень - ответа, насколько я помню, не последовало вообще. Разработчики видать делают игру для себя, а на мнение других им пос...ть.

  15. I hope your not suggesting that I profit from information because that would be silly. The only reason I ask for evidence is so I can judge for myself what to believe. If people don't wish to share information on a peer-to-peer basis or can't that is fine but I am not obligated to believe them especially if the said claims are a bit far fetched.

  21. если ракетой, то надо целится в "блин" над фюзеляжем, по другому его можно только из BFG завалить, да и то весь бк уйдёт... ЗЫ сбивать стали часто, вот у него скилл выносливости и прокачался...

  23. right you are guys with the altitude. It was showing meters. But still, as far as the Tanker, isnt there some easier way than having to build a mission simply to use a tanker. I mean, if you had some old dude who didnt know what the hell they were doing, they wouldnt be able to make a mission like that, and thus would never even know it was possible to AAR.

  24. Tried the 91.31s, wasn't impressed and went back to the 84.21 WHQL. Will stick with these until the 9x.xx are out of beta. Many moons ago, after several hours Googling and experimentation, I decided to use: 1. Force mipmaps: Off 2. Conformant Texture Clamp: On 3. Extension Limit: Off 4. Negative LOD Bias: Clamp 5. Triple Buffering: Off 6. Monitor Timing: Auto 7. Vertical Sync: Off PC - AMD 64 3200+@2.4ghz. 6800GT@420/1150.
