  1. After checking out the 9 pages of KA50 keyboard commands I thought a Keychart might come in handy. This is un-official keychart ive created displays many of the more critical keystrokes. Its intended to be a quick referance to help with joystick profiling or inflight command options. If you think ive missed anything critical, please post and i can edit content, or anybody else with some paint skills is quite welcome to do the same with this chart. I didnt add any custom config items as i thought it would probably just confuse people more. When i do get to fly this beast i will probably consider remapping the NUMPAD to offload some Autopilot functions, as most of my views are taken over by TrackIR. In the rar file there is three pictures. One is a full page layout for those people that have access to an A3 page printer or similar, and the other two are a split layout which you can print anywhere and stick together. During my further investigation about the Russian fighter units near the Caucasus Military Disctrict, I managed to found another few pictures - this time showing the Su-27P fighter-interceptors from 3rd IAP based in Krymsk AFB. As far as I know, it's the former 562nd IAP, which in late 2000 was reorganized and renamed into 3rd IAP. Nowadays unit got at least 32 Su-27's fighters, organized in two separate squadrons. These numbers consist about 26 Su-27P single-seaters and 6 Su-27UB for training purposes. In comparison with the 171 GwIAP, which was disbanded shortly after the withdrawal from Gudauta, the 562nd (now 3rd IAP) until now. The total staff amount circa 700 personell. Su-27 fighters from the unit mentioned above probably took part in at least two interceptions: 22 March 2003 Two Su-27P fighters scrambled to intercept a US Air Force U-2 flying in the proximity of Russia's border with Georgia in the Caucasus. The Russian fighters were ordered to prevent the violation of the country's airspace by the U-2, which was flying at a distance of 20-30 km from the Russian-Georgian border in Georgia's airspace. It was reported that this was the third flight of the American reconnaissance aircraft along the Russian-Georgian border within a month. Two previous reconnaissance flights were reported to have taken place on February 27 and March 7. 15 November 2004 A US Navy EP-3E Aries II, was detected 6 miles off the Russian Black Sea coast at an altitude of 6,500 feet. The aircraft was intercepted by a Su-27 Flanker of the Russian 4th Air Force. When the Su-27 approached, the EP-3E turned and flew away from the area.   3. The Ground Troops Aviation Training Center (GTATC) mission is to create a center of excellence for KA-50 pilots around the globe. Our first exam has been posted and covers the first chapter of the flight manual. We will be releasing follow on chapters until we have worked our way through the entire manual. This is Ground School. Once all chapters are complete, you are considered Ground School Q (GSQ) GSQ pilots will then take to the air to test their skills and perform tasks both basic and advanced. Completion of those tasks lead to Flight School Q (FSQ) rating. After completing both Ground and Flight School you will then be considered GTATC qualified. We will post a handy dandy banner or graphic to download and make part of your signature as being GTATC qualified. This isnt' meant to be hardcore, but rather fun and help straighten the learning curve of the KA-50. We will however always maintain a level of professionalism between pilots and staff. Please come join us here We will be posting exams that tie into the recently release English flight manual. Our goal is to certify pilots as GTATC graduates. This will encompass ground school and flight certifications on basic and advanced tasks. GTATC was created to provide a resource for pilot training and education. It's not fancy nor is it pretty. What we want to do is create a culture of learning that is both fun and informative.

В общем, наткнулся на странности небольшие при определённой манипуляции с юнитами, они перестают выделяться штатным образом, соответственно, воздействие на них становится невозможным (штатным образом, повторюсь). Суть проблемы. Воспроизводим ситуацию по пунктам: 1) Ставим статический объект (А); 2) Добавляем его в шаблоны; 3) Ставим шаблоны на карту (А1...х), выходим из режима добавления шаблонов; 4) Наблюдаем ситуацию, пытаемся выделить их. 5) А вот фиг. Такая же ситуация происходит, если сразу после этого ставить простые статические объекты из той же группы. Меры, при которых удаётся вернуть часть контроля над этими объектами: 1) Ставим статический объект (В) другой группы; 2) Выделяем его; 3) Не снимая выделения с В, зацепляем Ах и перемещаем его. При этом остаются данные юнита В; 4) Можно удалить юнит Ах. Юнит В можно и не ставить, а вместо него по этому же алгоритму использовать "материнский" юнит А. Вдогонку- также бывают глюки с "перепутыванием" юнитами цвета госпринадлежности - например, красные вдруг синими становятся. Лечится выделением и снятием выделения с юнита. Прошу прошения, если проблема уже публиковалась, сто лет не был на форуме)

They are all keys, except Views, Cheats, General and Labels, which keys are unimportant. Anything that controls the Ka50 is included.   6. Ok - there has been some discussion about the trim system used on the KA-50 in the simulation which takes a bit of getting used to. The reason is in the actual KA 50 the pilot is able to trim the cyclic to any position and leave the stick in that position. In the simulation, the "Trimmer" simulates this as best it can, however, some porpoising of the heli's attitude results because your joystick wants to naturally re-center. Now having said all that, if you have a Cougar joystick and you really want to see how the KA-50 should fly, there is a way to simulate the real KA 50 cyclic in Black Shark to respond very realisticly with the Cougar Foxy software. Simply enter this statement in your profile: BTN S4/I TRIM (JOYSTICK, 0) /O/PLOCK(JOYSTICK, LASTVALUE)TRIM(JOYSTICK, TO_CURRENT) /RUNLOCK(JOYSTICK) What it does is allow the Cougar axis to be reset to it's last axis value when you hold the S4 button and recenter the cyclic. This allows you to re-center the Cougar joystick without changing the aircrafts attitude or get the porpoising that you see using just the Trimmer. I can't say enough good things about what I've discovered with this simulation. I is MORE than worth the wait! Ron

  7. Try to install and run BS with administrator rights. And if that doesn't work, disable Vista's user account control (UAC) when starting BS for the first time. After that you should be able to activate again.

  8. IMO Its very difficult on a number of fronts to get air cover for the frogs n hogs in multiplayer. First, Its a heavy comittement for a lone fighter to try and clear an path through that may turn out to have anything from 1 to 20+ bandit and might mean the fighter himself asking for help from other fighters to go cover as well( quite a undertaking when you and others are not on t/s). Second, Its quite natural not to want to commit yourself to what could be a fruitless maybe boring flight, ie the bomber happily killing tanks while you circle above . Third, If you do go cover , it might be that you lose control of your time in the game, ie, you are hostage to the bombers agenda. ect ect ect What I am trying to say is I do understand that there is reasons not wanting to cover the bombers, in multiplayer, So you might see why I dont ask for cover its not that I dont want it, and if you do happen to bump into me in H/L servers and want to cover me Id be grateful,( even if you did it for a short while till I get on target) also if you can Id be overjoyed if any ( friendly)fighters have me near on radar, just call out ( just type somthing like "25N" that would say to me that you have a 25/25t near you on radar, but dont worry your friendly ect ect) , as we mud mover can't tell friend from foe and I tend to run if a fighter comes over half strenth on my ews.:) Tally Hoe NB: dont worry if you have never done it before, think it as on the job training.

  10. Hey folks, not sure if these have been posted before, but I thought I'd share my Black Shark TrackIR profile with you. For the record, I'm using 4.1036 TrackIr, and the trackclip Pro. If you are just using the baseball cap clip reflector gadget, then you have to select Vector expansion for each of the X/Y/Z/etc channels http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~mackie/DCS_Black_Shark.xml Put it in C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, and set DCS Black Shark to use this new profile in TrackIR and you should be good to go. I'm quite new to Trackir as I only bought it when I saw Black Shark, so there's a chance that you may have better profiles than this. Anyway, it works well enough for me now, I may reduce the sensitivity further when I get over my x52 Pro programming headaches. If you have better profiles please take the time to upload them here. As I said, I'm no expert! :smartass:

  11. А вот разгон (грамотный и аккуратный) влиять не должен, насколько я понимаю. Скорее будут общие глюки типа зависаний в нагруженных миссиях и прочее. Но на чистой нормальной системе проблемы с инпутом (несработка кнопок/клавиш и т.д.) отсутствуют. Бузят в основном мапперы и подобный софт, возможжно, они при этом еще и дерутся за свое законное право порулить :) Добавлено. Под "левым софтом" я имею в виду программы, которые потенциально могут взаимодействовать с подсистемой ввода Акулы, ничего более. Это не значит, что они плохие - совсем наоборот, многие из них нужны и полезны - я их и сам юзаю. Но повлиять могут, поэтому общее правило простое - если проблемы - думаем и сносим "лишнее", потом вычисляем.

  12. В ветке "боевое применение" флуд один :cry:. Вот мои рецепты выживания. Ну, про подготовку к вылету я умолчу. Надо четко понимать, где линия боевого соприкосновения войск. Где расположено разведаное ПВО и т.п. Ну да это для любого боевого вылета, вне зависимости от типа ЛА характерно. А вот далее начинается вертолетная специфика. На подходе к району боевой работы снижаемся до ПМВ. Ползаем на брюхе. Километров за 15 до расчетной точки начала работы очень полезно подпрыгнуть и осмотреться. Шквалом, естественно. Интересуют всякие неучтенные образцы бронетехники. Уже с этого этапа надо применять простое правило. Выпрыгивая из за дома или холма не стоит иметь его прямо под носом. Не знаю как у вас, но у меня гораздо лучше и быстрее получаются маневры по типу "РППУ от себя, вправо по крену, дача левой педали одновременно", чем "педальный разворот вправо на 90 градусов, затем отдача РППУ от себя с одновременным уменьшением ОШ". То есть на отворот вперед - вправо и нырок за препятствие нужно иметь место. Скорость стараюсь выдерживать в районе 120-130 км приборной. Как мне кажется скорподьемность и запас тяги тут максимальный. При минимальных подозрениях на пуск или обстрел резко ухожу в сторону с применением ЛТЦ. Весьма хорошо в этот момент иметь включенную нашлемку и режим АС. Уклоняясь от атаки весьма полезно поворотом головы выделить точку, окуда по вам стреляли. После отпрыга в сторону на несколько километров это позволит подробно осмотреть это место через Шквал, не тратя времени на его поиски. Естественно, точку вы не отметите нормально, но примерный район поиска определите :smilewink: При работе Вихрями лучше отойти подальше от цели и опять же, как можно ниже в готовности за что - нибудь спрятаться. Режим автопилота "висение" я стараюсь лишний раз не использовать. Секунды на борьбу с автопилотом может не хватить. Да и еще одна неприятность частенько случается. Если резко дать тангаж и крен. Автопилот вырубается. И начинается борьба с вертолетом :cry:А высоты нет, да и какой-нибудь дом вполне может дорогу перебегать. Так что висим ручками. Но помним, что даже дед с берданкой может нас на землю ссадить:smilewink:. Если Вихрей нет или кончились, то выходим на боевой. Скорость обычно держу те же 150-170. Расчет на один заход. Зависания исключаются. Не забываем бросать ЛТЦ. Валим от цели на максимальных скоростях. И стараемся не прямолинейно а по криволинейной траектории. Вообще если применение самолета проходило под девизом: "Осторожность не повредит". То применение вертолета превратило его в отчаяный супердевиз: "Осторожность помноженая на осторожность!!!!!":music_whistling:

  17. hi updates i had the bird integrated into lomac once so far for a test, but do to the simmod forum crash everything was slowed down, cause we had no ability to coordinate our team. i guess there will be some screenshots after everything is agreed by the team
