Для корректной работы кампании настоятельно рекомендуется в папке ...\BlackShark\Bazar\World\Shapes удалить файлы LAZ-695.cmd и LAZ-695-P.cmd (предварительно сохранить их в другой папке или заархивировать) и вставить вместо них приложенные файлы LAZ-695.LOM и LAZ-695-P.LOM Любые савпадения с известными людьми являются чисто случайными.   4. Well, i tried to reach Mitch so that i could have asked him in advance, but i couldn't get a hold of him. Anyway, since he provided the cdds with the skins in it this thread, i went a ahead and made a Modman File of the summer Skin.   10. I've comitted a small video, less than 5Min, but large video, more than 180Mo. This huge size is due to the resolution, 1280*800. A Su-33 is present in the video,... my mistake :huh: There are a lot of cobra because Youtube users like that and it is still good for us to get some new people involved in LO.   15. Там на самом деле написано ФОН ЧЕРНЫЙ - ФОН БЕЛЫЙ. То есть, если у тебя картинка преимущественно в темных тонах, то ты должен поставить переключатель в соответствующее положение - ФОН ЧЕРНЫЙ, при этом сама индикация будет белая, чтобы на темном фоне было лучше видно.

  16. Make that icon (shortcut) of profile without telling which program you want to launch. Open properties window of that shortcut and copy "Target" line to your own batch file, then add whatever you want after that line: calling another batch file or exe and etc. By launching that batch file you will change active profile and run what you want automatically.

  18. But GGs argument still applies, the SNR with the headtracking devices is a LOT better than any DTV image could ever be. Filtering images implies using fast fourier transformations, which can use lots of power if not run on specialised hardware.

I found it really intereting to read (and perhaps the Apache drivers on this forum can confirm?) , that , at least in Afghanistan, and as relates to the british Apache Mk1 drivers , they have the mighty Longbow radar, but do not even use it , or need to use it, and do everything by laser designation and mk1 eyeball.

  20. Like always this boils down to what are you looking for in a sim/game. Both LOCKon FC and Falcon are complex in their own right. In falcon (depending of the version) most challenges come form managing the aircraft while being a part of this huge campaign. Is the avionics, the use of the systems,etc. Lockon has some factor of this because it is very challenging to properly utilize a radar systems while 5 people lunch all of their missiles at you. Falcon has a very good campaign engine that for the most part, has define the type of play. Consider the fact that the campaign engine is about a decade old and still I can not recollect any other game that has produce similar campaign engine. Now lock on has , again some of this because there are people out there that spend a lot of time writing different missions, campaigns,etc. One of many arguments is immersion. That again falls on you, I can play a flash game and I enjoy myself and have enough immersion, I do the same with both Lock FC and Falcon 4.0 (RV, OF, SP, BMS, etc) Some people need graphics to immerse themselves on that fictional world, some need complex tasks, for example, find a target with GM radar and switching sensory of interest to the targeting pod, making sure that laser is on , master arm is on and to make certain you pickle the bombs correctly, the whole time looking for SAMs or enemy aircraft, done this in Falcon 4.0. Another big point is Multilayer. Some people can not connect to each other with falcon. So they have to play Lock on if they want multilayer action. The same can not be said about lock on, but lock is a lot younger that falcon also. Do you see the trend here? Try them, if you like it great, if not oh well. We all have our disappointments in games movies, etc. Falcon(most versions) Good Campaign, complex avionics, many vehicle and feel like you a little part of this world. I love the F-16 . Bad Hard to connect on line (to some) Crashes, many mods/updates that destroy the installed file and you have to do the falcon dance ( re intalled the game and all mods). Some other issues people out there have, You probably find many threads about. Lockon FC good Beautiful graphics, very challenging multilayer, Many free well made mods. Bad Some times "Quake" mentality ( Some guys will take off fire all their missile land re-armed, repeat) Crashes. Some other issues people out there have, You probably find many threads about.

  21. In the case of ground units that is easily doable. Have them inactive as described above but check the 'visible before start' box for that unit. That way it will allready be visible and not pop up from nowhere. Be aware though that the unit will still be inactive, that means it wont shoot and AI will not attack it (though the player can still destroy it).

  22. is there any chance of a improvement in the terrain for use with dcs in tacview, right now i'm trying to get some ideas for static objects done, and I'm running in to the issue of the terrain mesh being off in tacview, i put in the height of the building in the xml file and it shows below the terrain in tacview.

As a quick note, in my previous post I borked myself by saying "Mi-28 Hind", I obviously meant "Mi-24 hind". >.< As for why the 28 was chosen as the main chopper for the future and not the Ka-50, I'm not entirely sure why and we outside of the decision making cadres of generals and politicians can most likely only give educated guesses at best, but: Apparently the Mi-28 does have a small space where they can carry personnel. Not anything like the cabin of the Mi-24, but apparently the Afghan campaigns made the top brass decide it was real good being able to pick up downed aircrew without the use of additional transport helos. Also, the Ka-50 and 52 are made by Kamov, who traditionally supplied the fleet and not the army. The Mi-28 like the Mi-24 is made by Mil, who traditionally supplied the army but not the fleet. Some articles I have read has placed a great emphasis on this, indicating that it may very well be down to the same kind of "sentimental" decision making that can make an air force opt for F16's instead of Mirages, Eurofighters or Gripens just because they've always bought american and people (even in high positions) tend to go with what they know.   26. They have, if briefly (I recall discussing with a dev) On the other hand, that is ALL they do. There's simply no comparison between a dedicated ASIC doing this sort of thing, and your simulator trying to do it. And realize that it would have to do it very, very often. I would also assume, but I don't actually know for certain - that the requirements for target tacking methods and face detection (not recognition - two different things ;) ) are rather different, though you could argue that in principle they are the same thing. I'll tell you right now that my 700mhz athlon box requires 2-5 seconds to process each pair/triple of 640x480 images and track a target. (yes, I have an app that does something like that with a webcam)

Думаю ,делать этого не стоит .Так завтра появится еще масса предложений что бы было удобно .Уж если шли к реализму ,то надо идти до конца .Иначе удобное оставим либо сделаем ,а не удобное вообще стоит убрать так как неудобно. Рустам ,уважительно к тебе отношусь ,но в данном предложении я тебя не поддержу - извини.Если подходить с другой стороны ,с реальной ,то по кол-ву тех же ПТУР можно прим.прикинуть -сколько ты использовал ЛД.Честно сказать ,у меня ни разу перегрева не было.Вообще странно,как можно перекрыть лимит включения и остатся с оружием.Поиск цели с ЛД не производят -только после идентификации цели .Когда точно уверен что будет пуск ,тогда и включать ЛД как это делаю я ,да и многие другие .(это между прочим и безопасность,включенный ЛД сразу дает противнику знать что его облучают и дается азимут - откуда облучают).

  29. Remember to set a start delay time for any unit you want to activate with a trigger. Should be the field below the waypoints. If you leave that empty (=0) then the unit will activate imediatly with mission start instead of waiting for the trigger. I usually set a 23 hours delay for all 'to be triggered' units.

  32. This is my Dust and Scratches window mod for the KA-50. Download HERE for ModMan install The mod does not cause a performance hit since the texture is the "same" as the orginal. The mod is best used with Textures set to High in options. Hope you like it! :thumbup: Regards Lee

  35. Fellas, I've downloaded BS many, many times, and I keep getting the same problem. The game starts, I can access the main page or top level page - but anytime I try to actually fly, it takes me back out to the operating system, and an error comes up. The error says: "The application's module DCS.exe was modified. It may be damaged or infected by a virus. Scan your computer for viruses and reinstall the application." I have scanned my computer numerous times, and I am coming up with a bug that Symantec leaves alone. The file I have that apparently is bad is "TDSSc6de.tmp". Not sure what the hell that is or means though. Basically, the game has installed, and works just fine until it comes time to fly - that's when my computer or the game stops cooperating. Any ideas? I'm about to throw this computer out of the window. I'm running on XP. If anyone can help me, I promise that you will have saved a life, and possibly the world. How does that sound?
