Hi All! I'm even now working on the wing and all parts of that. At the last weekend I tested the animation with slider modifier tool on flaps and engine succesfully, so it will be easier move to actually position to plugin. And finally some new pictures from this section of project: / I have knowledge of joint gap on the 1-2. pic, i repaired it. :) / Pls, see the pictures and tell me your perceptions, Thx. I Have only the put in the most common ones and have strung commands together to make them quicker to say. You do have to remember the radio commands structure a little more this way be when you get use to it it is much better and has less recognition mistakes. Lots of the voice commands shorten 4 key presses into one command. and it is more realistic to speak to the tower and ground crew. In game Radio structure: Radio-maintenance-refueling-100% Key presses: --------------# ------ F7-------- F4---- -F4 Becomes. I have created few mods which, in my opinion, solve some minor problems and improve this great game. Mod 1 (install with modman): Before this mod, A-10 gau-8 could not destroy T-55, t-72 etc. Now it can :-) Also, before this mod A-10 pilot would shoot 10 second bursts (!). Now it will fire up to 2 second bursts (which is realistic). If A-10 has to destroy, for example t-72, with this mod it will fire one or two 2-second bursts and destroy the tank. Before this mod it would fire two 10 second bursts, use all of its ammo and not destroy the tank (see attached screenshot) I have also modified some other guns burst length; for example, Mig-31 has 10.000 rpm (!) 30mm gun but only 260 rounds. Before this mod, AI Mig-31 pilot would fire all rounds in one burst. Now he will fire many short bursts. A-10 gau-8 destroys tanks, burst rates.rar1 point

That's more about blast radius. Try to use blast-fragmentation variant of S-8 rockets (S-8OFP2) against infantry or no-armored targets.1 point

Thanks guys for all your help. It was the ATI Adaptive Multi-sample AA. I don't know how it change. I used two rules in computer land. #1 If it ain't broken, don't fix it # 2 When I make a change. In a notebook I write down were ( program, folder, file). What I did ( change value / settings before and after) And why I change it. The only thing that might have change it, is when I shut down there was a auto upgrades from Microsoft that installed. Your guess is as good as my, probably better. However Thanks to Lighting for pointing out what happen I'm a happy camper again. And Mustang I thought about keeping it just to make it easier to find targets, lol Thanks again for all your help1 point

Part I Back on mission the top portion of this shot shows me eyeballing the river I 'flagged' with waypoint #4 (top 2/3 of the shot) and turning to follow it to target. I spent the entire special effects budget on this shot. After passing the hills (under my wingtip in the previous picture I have followed the river to the bridge and it's turn to the west. Red square shows the field of view for the top left insert, green for the bottom left one. It is hard to see but in the top left insert I have moved my 'pipper' (the dashed circle from the CCIP/CCRP bombing mode) over the target area and ground stabilized it, shown in the bottom left insert and highlighted by the small black box). In retrospect I should have put that black box on the main shot as well. This should illustrate how proper planning allowed my to find the targets on the first pass without too much difficulty. I will say that I did use the pause mode and the zoom in to visually lock the pipper on the targets. Again, hats off the to real pilots that can do this for real, even with binoculars it is a tough task that has to be done fast! After ground stabilizing, I ordered my wingman to 'attack air defenses' in the hope that he would do this based on the target area I had defined with the lock. Rifle! Pulling off target to the E (away from the front-line forces that I had noted in the planning section. Inset are the targets of both of my first attempt Mav's. Not that I can not remember if I specifically targeted these outlying vehicles in the hopes of reducing AAA chances or if I just couldn't discern the intended targets or the nice line of them in the Mav view on replay! While circling back for another run, my wingman has headed straight north, overflying the target area and continuing. I am going to assume that he has gone AWOL and is after an air defense asset on the other side of those hills to the north. Either way at this point I issues a 'rejoin' command to get his arse back into this fight instead of find another one! Red box = him, Green box where I want him. In the mean time, F-18 #2 has decided to land at the forward airfield that we captured between mission #2 and this one. The field that was the target of our attentions during mission #1 and #2 is off to the south. In this shot I am trying to 'unlock' and get my pipper back. I tried cycling through the CCIP/CCRP modes and even through different weapons. I had the 'unlock' command assigned to my HOTAS but it was ineffective. After this mission I learned that hitting 'lock' again would unlock it. I am trying to pick a specific target for my wingman My last two AGM-65's find the right targets. I circle back for another pass, wingman in tow. This time I order my wingman to 'complete mission and rejoin'. He must be eager because he wastes no time. That is his first shot. With him directly behind me, his Mav actually flies under me before zooming up. I am 2 feet from being the unintended target! It scared the crap outta me :-) I pull high right, attracting the attention of a SA-11 site off to the north. I am guessing that this is the site he was after when I order the earlier attack on air defenses. Maneuvering and flares/chaff, or possibly because the launcher lost line of sight with me behind the hills. My wingman's shots are relatively effective hitting multiple targets in the target area, including a number of AAA guns (which is what I hoped he would do with the first order). The only problem? He turns left instead of right (his own fault I guess). The same SA-11 that opened on me moments ago turns it's attention on him. Not a problem, in an of itself except that he is about to fly over a smaller SAM similar to the one that KO'd the F-18 earlier. The approach of the first SAM (SA-9 I think). The first one has hit and is followed by a second. In the first panel (left) the two trails are actually from the same SAM - which has a second stage that it ignites. Middle panel is just before the impact and the last panel is the hit (of SAM #2). Above, SAM #3 reaches up to touch someone - him. And, finally, SAM #4 finishes him off. A testimonial to either his luck of the ruggedness of the A-10 (or maybe the SAM is an air-burst only weapon?), he is able to punch out. Given how fast this all happened (less that a minute or two) he may have been trying to punch out after SAM #2 hit. After SAM #1 he had dumped his ordinance. At this point I am out of AGM-65's and I am unsure about the AAA threat over the target area. I RTB, reload and return to the target. I finish off both Artillery pieces and spot a trio of trucks - which the Avenger takes easy care of. I decide to RTB north of the foothills and keep my eyes open for targets of opportunity. Sure enough one comes along Here is where the 'in mission' planning comes along. I am not sure if he has not shot at me yet because I surprised him or if he is busily turning weapons to bear. I pull hard left away from him and decide to circle around behind a hill that will allow me to approach him with my weapons aligned to be effective. I am in the red box and I pull around the hill to the left (red line) coming out the other side along the green line and directly toward the target. Inset pictures show the Avenger cannon run (top right) and overflying the target (bottom left). Turns out this was the guy who downed #2. I get shot at by a T-72 and use my last MAV on him. I figured that since I had seen the SA-9 so late and he had not fired at me that he must have been out of ammo and was not worth the -65. A long mission! <RTB screen shot removed due to a forumn limit to 20> ---- And a long AAR. Sorry for the number of shots and the length of the post. Let me know if it is too much. I am aiming for less that 25 shots in a post :-) In case anyone is wondering: the mission was about an hour long, replay (for screen shots, etc) was about 1.5 hours, 3 hours in post production (cropping, merging, etc) and another 2 hours writing one up. Whew! I also had this by the way as part of the same test code I was using. It's referring a modified version of the Serialization.lua script that just wrote its recursive output to a string instead of to the io library (since I'm too novice to know how to redirect the io to a string buffer in LUA), so that I could then call many of the functions dynamically and get some interesting output back again:- ... local d = GetDevice(devID); local result = d[funcname](d); if type(result) == "table" then socket.try(c:send(serializestr(funcname, result).."\n")) else socket.try(c:send(result.."\n")); end ... Там работы будет навалом, причем не только прикладникам, а ресурсы у нас небезграничны. По железу постараемся не обидеть.1 point

Все ниже сказанное ИМХО. По эффективности ракет и истребителей при игре в сети(с момента покупки не играл в офф на истребителях, т.к. не вижу смысла вырабатывать и изучать тактику против ботов, разве что пару раз проверить способности ракет, пущеных с простейших ракурсов и приблизительно одинаковых дистанций) у меня осталось двоякое впечатление: Если условно поделить тех кто сейчас летает онлайн в ГС2 на три группы: новички,средний уровень и опытные то получается интересная тенденция - с увеличением эфективности ракет в ГС2 опытным пилотам стало летать легче, интереснее и результативность увеличилась. Двум другим категориям сложнее в разной степени тяжести но тяжелее всего новичкам что привыкли к "мясу" в ГС1.12 и прежде всего это касается отечественных истребителей и тех кто до сих пор не освоил F-15. С каждым днем F-15 становится все более популярным и многочисленным истребителем в сети что тоже не есть гуд. Сев за F-15 в ГС2 отчасти понял причину - те самые новички привыкшие к мясу в ГС 1.12 теперь используя ту же тактику на отечественных крафтах 90% идут в размен друг с другом а против опытных и средних в расход, что часто сопровождается в чате оскорблениями аля "дерись как мужик- отворачивают го..секи". Когда это им надоедает увидев уберкрафт в 15шке пересаживаются на него из-за Aim 120C т.к. в этом случае при использовании той же тактики они имеют намного больше шансов выйти победителем особенно в схватке с МиГ и Су. ОТВОРАЧИВАТЬ, НЕ НАДО СТЕСНЯТЬСЯ хоть на 3-9 > угла сопровождения гсн ракеты 60 хоть на 180 если все "совсем плохо". Особенно забавляет когда отворачивая на обратный курс наблюдаешь как такой "рельсолет" выпускает весь бк одну за одной 120ки в ЗПС а увлекшись получает ракету от ПВО или оставшись без БК отчаянно пытается удрать на остатках. Что касается Су и 27ЭР прови 15шки и 120С\B однозначно не стоит переть в лоб если дистанции пуска до 15шки еще нет а тем более после пуска, пусть даже теряется захват - ракета в молоко, но она ведь не одна, можно взять некоторый реванш воспользовавшись рельефом местности, высотой или прикрышкой своего ПВО или попросить прикрышку у напарника в ТС. Мне кажется с МиГ-29 более хуже ситуация - радар стал слабже, РЭБ на тяж ястребах мощнее. Топлива мало для активных маневров. P.S 1. След лоббизма "пустил - забыл - отвернул" прослеживается явно (скорее всего англоязычные товарищи продвигали). 2. Новичкам в сети делать нечего. 3. Игроку с одинаковым уровнем опыта на F15 против другого с таким же уровнем на другом типе истребителя летается легче и комфортнее вследствии п 1. 4. Все таки ГС2 интереснее, теперь рулит работа в команде или паре что у ястребов, что у штурмов - пора отходить от принципов один "Рэмбо" против всех. 5. Спасибо ED за качественный и интересный продукт(еще бы тормоза от шквала убрать..) P.P.S извиняюсь за много букв.1 point

Piece of cake man... I included a picture in order to show you where you must look at for the detent (the picture isn't mine) BTW I found that short cirtuiting the sidewinder's IR detector also activates the FFB... that's strange :huh: and goes against what I said before about the switch. An explanation could be that in electronics when working with digital logic some pins (inputs) can be interpreted as 1 Logic when the pin is unconnected (on the air, as we say)... That would explain why the FFB is enabled when I let the handle pcb disconnected from the main pcb... Anyway I will let this to the experts...1 point

What a Beautiful end to a successful mission (Su-25 Revanche mission 5 RETREAT SUPPORT) I Taxied to parking area and was just powering down and reviewing how the mission had gone, when............ I hear a helicopter landing close by. Very Close! I hear a massive banging and much shrieking of metal and shaking of cockpit. I look over to see that he has decided to put down on my wing! I get a mission failed message. So my pilot looks over and gives him the EVIL EYES1 point

Good point Mustang, but this obstacle already exists. The rules that need to be followed regarding taxing and takeoff would have to be broadcast by server in all languages at the start. Very very cool avatar, totally spinning me out!1 point

))) извините но Вы странный человек.... почему? создали тему по типу "как бороться против активных ракет" и ждете предложений, а сами уже второй раз повторяете типа "я то знаю как уходить мы способы разработали но никому не скажем НО ВЫ делитесь своими способами.... ПОЧЕМУ НЕ ДЕЛИТЕСЬ А ТУПО СПОРИТЕ????" ....выглядит как то... я бы сказал некрасиво.... Вопрос к ЧиЖ-у по поводу реализма. ГС-2 не купил, жду DVD, но есть вопрос. Даже два. Есть ли (хотя чувствую что нет) списание времени от пуска ракеты до расчетного времени поражения цели на Су-27, МиГ-29? И почему нет? Вы ж за "реал". Реально очень не хватает в ГС 1.12. Ну второй уже много раз задавался но еще раз "капну" (простите уж).... когда будет возможность работать по двум целям на МиГ-29С? Это что ну ОООООООЧЕНЬ трудно сделать? Или у вас такой "однобокий" буржуйский реал? А с другой стороны очень обидно за "наезды" разработчиков. Игру Вы сделал для нас и она реально ИМХО лучшая из симов, проделали огромный объем работы и за это вам отдельное спасибо. Без Вас бы не было и нас ))). Реально ЛО была и есть моей любимой игрой, что бы Вы там с ней не вытворяли.... монополия однако ))) P.S. вопрос три почему у меня всегда пищит "береза" при пуске по мне 120-ки. Ведь у F-15, F-16 есть режим TWS (если не ошибаюсь) для скрытного пуска активных ракет. Или боты на уровне "профессионал" такие тупые? И есть ли в ГС2 скрытный пуск 120-ки?1 point

Ah I see, very clever counter. The problem with two players entering the zone within the same second sounds logical. If both players set flag 1 within the same "frame", neither one will be left to set flag 1 again after it was cleared by the "one in zone" trigger. But frankly why this will work better with a CONTINUOUS trigger is beyond me. I assume you changed to a CONTINUOUS for the "1/2/3in zone" triggers, not for the "P1/2 In" triggers (as that would break the counter). To me SWITCHED CONDITION and CONTINOUS should make absolutely no difference for the "1/2/3 in zone" triggers with the setup above.1 point

terrain textures in FC2 are fine already, you don't need any terrain mods at all. Also don't know why some claim shimmernig coastline... I don't have that problem with stock game1 point

В вопросе обнаружения вертолета истребителем главное скорость вертолета. В игре пороговая радиальная скорость обнаружения целей истребителями 144 км/ч на дальности более 10 км. Поэтому, для повышения шансов на выживание, вертолетчикам, в зоне возможного появления истребителей противника, не рекомендуется разгоняться выше 144 км/ч. Ну и, чем ниже тем лучше, поскольку ракеты при приближении к земле начинают накапливать ошибку наведения.1 point

You have to set FC2 to use your snap view over the default views. Open View.lua in Notepad++, edit line 51 to UseDefaultSnapViews = false You can now setup your default view in cockpit and hit RALT - Num 0 to save it. Or edit the snapview lua by hand. Nate1 point

Не совсем баг, но заметил что среди загрузок для F-15 доступных через меню связи НОП отсутствует вариант с 8*aim-120 (B/C + 1/3 ПТБ). Такой вариант является для многих наиболее оптимальным (если что, я не говорю про то как обвешивают самолеты в реале, а о том что наиболее эффективно в игре), и хотелось бы чтобы он был в этом меню, особенно учитывая что наилучшие варианты подвесок для сушки и для мига в меню НОП есть ( 4*ЭР, 2*ЭТ, 2*73, РЭБ / 2*ЭТ, 4*77 ). Мне известно что можно отредактировать файл rearm.lua, однако на серверах с "проверкой целостности" как правило проверяется вся папка _Common, так что это не прокатывает. Даже если в будущем проверку будут проводить более избирательно, то мне кажется что файл rearm.lua попадет в список проверяемых, хотябы для того чтобы избежать читерских подвесок. Поэтому, в предполагаемом патче хотелось бы иметь возможность вешать 8 aim-120, либо иметь более расширенное меню выбора подвесок, по типу ЧА, в который входило бы большинство из возможных вариантов обвеса F-15, включая вышеназванный. Можно на это надеяться, или игл драйверы обречены таскать на себе бестолковые aim-9? :)1 point

Not so fast... crap... Uzi's got creamed. Let's look at the damage... I'm counting 3 remaining at least. Disappointed at Uzi flight. Same strategy... lock them up as many as I can and fire. Order 3 and 4 to engage my target. Don't use engage bandit command. Breaking... Would you look at that... low percentage shot does make a kill some times. These belong to my fine wingmen. Another one for number 3. Man he's a super hero. Well... those 4 were just the Flankers... 3 SU-24's are still kicking too. My mistake for not spotting them earlier. Trusted the Uzi flight too much. They only scored one Fencer kill and got annihilated? Who trained those rookies? There goes my last 120C. Now all I got are sidewinders so I gotta go visual... and they prove to be quite reliable. Just as I finish off the last SU-24, I dodge a close one. Must've been an IR as there was no warning and I should've known when I saw him coming straight at me but stupid me. Whew... at least my IR worked better than his. Made in USA baby!!! Again... that was a lot of work and at some point in the second engagement, I lost number 4. Hope he ejected but I'm happy with the kill ratio. Debriefing shows that 4 exchanged blows with a Flanker. It says dead and then eject... not sure what that means actually... hope he's okay. Hi! Thanks for your interest. We continued to work on the project after certain pause caused by car crash were author of the campaign was unfortunately involved. He was on the way to studio to supervise recording of last 20th mission...:( Actually we are now preparing missions 1-10 for voice recording. We had to redo some text after advices by Eagle Dynamics and thus old records are not valid anymore. 11-19s are ready in full. The plan is to release it by end of this month. :smilewink: Whatever it takes. :gun_smilie:1 point

Dear ED....with such stupid things, you will definite screw this hopefully DCS series up.:bomb: What a laughable fail again.
