Hi I took the liberty of emailing PC Gaming site Rock Paper Shotgun about ED's latest effots. Hopefully they'll take note and maybe do a feature on their website. Heres what I wrote:

Welcome to my paint shop. As I create more liveries, I'll add them in here to keep my releases all in one place. Update: Worked on the metal texture a bit. Removed a lot of the bluish hue it had, and dirtied it up a bit to give a more natural look. Also adjusted the specularity to give it a less of a mirror-like finish and more of a luster look, while still keeping some shininess. Skins go into your "Bazar\Liveries\P-51D" folder. It still looks extremely detailed and there is no noticeable detriment. Also the wheels are not orange. Чиж, тогда получается, что МиГ будет не модулем, а модом, а оттуда все проблемы с совместимостью, все клиенты сервера должны будут купить этот модуль с МиГ-21, иначе у них даже его 3Д модель не будет отображаться. Мне кажется, стоило бы сделать так, как сделано для официальных продуктов ЕД: для одобренных ЕД качественных модулей от сторонних разработчиков с их выходом одновременно выпускается патч для всех обладателей ДКС World, который добавляет в игру 3Д модель ЛА, его оружие и прочие средства, необходимые для его корректного отображения в качестве бота (или самолёта другого игрока в онлайне). А те, кто купит сам модуль, уже будут иметь возможность им управлять.

Вот тут скачай утилитку: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1401669&postcount=25 после старта миссии переключись на нее, дампер/фрикшн в 0, спринг (пружина) - по желанию. Потом опять в миссию и летай с пружиной. При повторном вылете придется делать снова.

Приборная скорость Поскольку "налёт" у меня небольшой (всего год назад познакомился с "Забытыми сражениями"), а голова "думает" в метрической системе, некоторое время понадобилось, чтобы найти оптимальный способ быстрого пересчёта миль (узлов) в километры, (футы в метры переводятся легче, ибо множить на три проще, пусть и с погрешностью). Сначала рисовал большие таблицы, потом пришёл к решению в прикреплённом файле. Хотя со временем понемногу стал привыкать и к милям, картинка до сих пор приклеена над монитором на стене (правда там ещё и "компас"). Как бы там ни было, если для кого-то сей циферблат окажется полезным, -- на здоровье!

Dcs world > bazar > world > shapes > P-51D.lods open with notepad, change line 3 from {"P-51D.edm",50.0}; to {"P-51D_lod1.edm",50.0}; This fixes orange wheels and should make your weapons show up

Alright, I think I got my idea implemented enough for testing. All 5 aircraft should work. Although the player 1 aircraft will have signal flares launch from it every time a penalty is assessed. Everything should work in theory, but my lack of actually owning P-51 is preventing me from putting it into practice. Right now the penalty is 5 seconds for every pylon you miss. The penalty can be easily adjusted as needed. If anyone tests this please try to test the following scenarios: 1. Flying the course perfectly 2. Taking a shortcut or 2 3. Passing through any pylon more than once a lap. You must pass through the "race reset" button for additional races. Nate, if this works out well it will be pretty easy to add additional pylons and only be slightly tedious to add additional aircraft slots. :) Batumi Air Racing MP_test001.miz
