you may want to try to run the RAM with no XMP. i hear this tip said a lot in these forums. i personally have XMP and have no issues.

hello. as @The_Nephilim mentioned you may want to try a test of the memory. memory hardware problems are not likely but can happen. you also can take the memory out of the system, make sure there is no dust on the contacts, and replace the DIMMS. make sure they are seated good. i have found in my experience that during the test, i only do one DIMM at a time. that way if there is an anomaly, you know what DIMM it failing. also check to see if you have any overclocking (ala XMP). try the sim without OC.

Stuttering every 1-2 seconds: A-10CII Outpost campaign
silverdevil replied to Boss32's topic in 2D Video Bugs
hello, i do see that you have some mods. i am not sure if that would cause stuttering. but one never knows. disable those and run a slow repair. also clear out your shader folders. i see a lot of action in your log. -
hello. change your dcs shortcut to run from the BIN folder. not BIn-MT. doubt it will help but who knows 2025-09-23 07:07:09.082 INFO APP (Main): Command line: "E:\DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --restarted if that does not fix it, rename the folder c:/users/wexle/saved games/dcs/ to c:/users/wexle/saved games/dcs.bak/ and retry. a new vanilla folder will be created. if game starts, then you can get control bindings back. maybe some corruption is that folder.

AMD Radeon not good after 2.9 patch
silverdevil replied to SirBenn21's topic in Game Performance Bugs
hello. you may have some other issues that can be fixed since this topic died 18 months ago. i suggest starting a new topic and attach your dcs.log. posting a reply disparaging the developers and ranting will get you noticed for the wrong reason. -

hello. i updated on 9/17 and got 90+ dl speeds. attach your autoupdate_log.txt maybe some clues.

i have yet to see this error on my system. when the logs indicate an error, it seems to be something on the computer or their ISP. i am sure ED tries to avoid peak hours for updating. but being literally all of the world, what would be the peak time? perhaps it happens to you because of them doing updates? also it could be their servers overburdened.

i also see you had a pretty long session without error === Log opened UTC 2025-09-19 12:51:50 2025-09-19 14:40:12.324 INFO VISUALIZER (10436): render thread has stopped === Log closed.

hello. i do not see any errors in the autoupdate_log. i do notice in your dcs.log that you are opening up dcs.exe from BIN-MT X:\DCS\bin-mt\DCS.exe change your shortcut to X:\DCS\bin\DCS.exe or even better "X:\DCS\bin\DCS_updater.exe" i am not sure this will matter. but it is a test.
