  1. Hi, First, thanks for the new map, I can't wait flying on it. Is there any firing range in the area ? Thanks, Vincent
  2. F-16, but he made some flight on the backseat of the 2000 in real life.
  3. I have exactly the same feeling. I have tried with different configuration, it is better with some load, but must still improved on this point. One of my colleague, a former F-16 pilot, have the same feeling. He tried also Falcon BMS and was impressed by the FM.
  4. Completely agree with you. Anyway, the air is compressible and there will some effect of this compressibility even with the FBW. There should be an very light effect of the roll in the FM, it would be more "natural". Personnaly, I no longer have the pleasure to fly this fantastic aircraft, but I will make some more test with some weapons and tank. Cheers,
  5. Hi, Saying that I am trolling you it's the exactly the same that ignoring the basics of aerodynamics! In demo, the pilot compensate the moment effect by crossing the flight controls : in example stick to the right to start the roll and quick stick to the left to stop instantaneously to roll, and I did the same when I was flying the Extra 300. So a demo cannot be a reference. I persist : an aircraft is not flying like that, it is not realistic! Try some roll maneuver in the F-5 and you will see. FBW improve the maneuvrability but does not cancel the aerodynamics effect!
  6. There is no need to compare the stick position and the aircraft movement, this is just aerodynamically how an aircraft is moving in the air. Look at this one, at the very beginning when the aircraft is rlling on the right (I thing the pilot is not using the full deflection of its stick) : https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mirage+2000+HUD Clearly, the aircraft does not stop rolling suddently. On this one, from 3:52, it is quite evident too :
  7. I don't want the M2000 FM to look like the 777, that's not the point. If you have the F-5, when you release the control in roll for example, the aircraft take 0.5 seconds, even less to stabilize. That should be the same with any aircraft, proportinally to its design and flight control system. The M2000 just stop suddenly to roll when you release the controls. This is not how an aircraft is flying, simply. Just look at some cockpit footage of some M2000 in demo, and you will see. Cheers,
  8. Hi, I quite disappointed by the flight model change. From 200 knots, there is no damping anymore and the aircraft seems to fly a simple flight model (or like a train)! I am not a fighter pilot, but I am flying civilian aircraft, 777 and 737. Having flying the 777 with electronic flight control, there is always a quite few damping effect (I mean, when releasing the flight control, the aircraft take few time to stop the induced mouvement), because an aircraft just fly in the air. This is exactly the opposite in the latest M2000 flight model change. I understand that a public flight simulator cannot reproduce exactly a real flight model, but I have corrected a lot of flight model in FS9 and X, P3D and X-Plane. Adding some damping effect in flight controls give a real sensation of flying. So, please, correct that for the next time. Thanks, Vincent
  9. Hi, Finally, everything seems ok. I removed the mod from the DCS folder to only keep the one in User\ and the mod appears. Apparently, there is a conflict keeping the mode in DCS folder. Thanks a lot and have a good flights, Vincent
  10. I konw it is extremely simple, but it is not working, and I don't know why. See the attached file showing my folders. Vincent
  11. Thanks, but still not working. To resume : 1. I installed the mod in win\saved game\... for the 1.5 version : it works 2. Copy and paste the mod in win\saved game\... for the 2.1.1 version : NOT working 3. Create the folder DCS.openalpha in default\saved games\... and install the mod : NOT working 4. Create the folder DCS.openalpha in default\saved games\... and install the mod in CoreMod : NOT working Really, I am not a expert in this type of installation and I have no idea where the problem is. Any idea ? Thanks
  12. Hi, I have dowloaded the latest 476th objects dated from 14 august, and follow the instructions, but I still have a problem. On mission editor, I can see the object with the 1.5 openbeta, but nothing appears on mission editor with the 2.2 openalpha ! Both are in same folder, respectively for each version. What could be the problem ? Thanks, Vincent
  13. I am using the classical FAB-100, not the OFAB.
  14. Hi, I have used with success to fire rockets in reference with the table setting found in the Quickstart manual page 27. But I absolutely not able to place a bomb on the target. They are falling well, well before the target. I have watched a lot of tutorial on youtube, but I have found them totally unrealistic, dropping bomb at a very low altitude without using any references or even not setting the gunsight reflector. Have you got this problem ? What is your technique for bombing ? Thanks, Vincent
  15. - Easy radio disabled, - On parking position with hot engine, - 125.00, 39.20 and 254.00 does not work - No ATC text or audio - Tried with the L-39 and the A-10C I also agree that it is an alpha version, and there will be a lot of bugs to be fixed. At least, I am not alone and I hope it will help. Cheers, Vincent
  16. Hi, It seems there is no way to communicate with the tower on Nellis with the L-39C. I preselect 125.00Mhz and 254.00Mhz on the mission editor and try from the forward and rear cockpit, but I have no answer. Anybody have the same issue ? Thanks, Vincent Edit : I have the same problem with the A-10C on all the frequencies (125.00, 39.20 and 254.00).
  17. Hi, I tried something different this morning. I made a fresh installaton of DCS 1.5. I start the launcher WITHOUT updating it, and... it works! So I left the soft and start again to update in 1.5.1.47285.107, and it works. After that, I uninstall everything, clean everything, and install again with the update, without launching the soft before the update. Then, the error 0xc00007b appears! Strange, isn't it? By the Way, I tried dependency walker, but foe each software (P3D, Falcon BMS, X-Plane and DCS), I have some red x64 and some black x86. Is it normal ? Thanks.

  19. Hi, As the DCS 2.0 is about to be available, what will happen if the f**** error 0xc00007b happen again ? I bought the L-39 and pre-order NTTR Nevada, what if can't use it ? Thanks.
  20. Yes, I have not updated my signature yet. On this old config, I had the same problem solve by repairing C++2010. And by the way, DCS 1.5 and the L-39 was working perfectly, very fluid.
  21. Tried also, doesn't work. I installed C++ 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015, removed, re-install, repair, without result. It is a very bad things, I cannot fly with the L-39 anymore !
  22. Hi, I also try re-installing DX11, but I still have he same error message Until now, Prepar3D v3, X-Plane and Falcon BMS 4.33 are working really don't understand why DCS 1.5 is not working. Thanks for any ideas. Vincent
  23. Hi, After un big upgrade of my computer and a fresh install of W7 64bit, I have this message again : The program couldn't start properly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the program How is it possible ? I have covered some threat on this forum and have tries all solutions (Re-install and repair DX, VC++ Runtime, etc) but none are working ! Anyone has a definitive solution about this problem ? Thanks Vincent
  24. Thank a lot, I found it.
  25. Slovak Air force Hi, How do you select the Slovak air force livery ? This country does not appear in the list on the mission editor. Thanks, Vincent
