I have read on the manual that the range of the display is 30° vertically and 40° horizontally, so, at a certain point, the symbol will not be displayed anymore. If I understand correctly, I think that is easy to lose the nose-reference anyway. That's sound not really clear for me (as real civil pilot). I suppose that will be more understandable when the module will be available. Thanks a lot for the answer and thanks to the team for this fantastic module.

Hi, I would like to know the purpose of the head tracker symbol (the broken losange) appearing on throught the IHADSS. On Wags videos, the symbol does not move with the sight, but seems to be aligned with the helicopter datum line. So, my question is : why is it call a head tracker? For boresight? Thanks, Vincent

Hi, I have seen the both TADS video from Wags and read the real manual, but I would like that someone confirm if I correctly understand. You can select the sight with the Sight Select switch located on the collective/mission control grip or the TEDAC right hand grip. I saw that Wags select the Acquisition source via the weapon page on the TADS part II. My question : is there a way to select the acquisition with the cyclic, the collective or the TEDAC hand grips? Hi, Is it possible to program a unit of infantery to go to a waypoint, fire some round , go to the second waypoint, fire some rounds, etc. I tries with hold (position), fire at point with limited round expend, but it seems that does not works. Any ideas? Thank, Vincent

They should read the real manual and they will realize how much this module can be complex to program. In the mean time, I was suspecting that ED is working on other things to enhance the experience with the Apache, like the FLIR (we saw that on screenshots recently), but also infantery movement, etc That could explain in part the delay. And that a quite a good idea.

As far as I understand : 1. The boresight is not required in any mode to be operational 2. The boresight is highly recommended in PRE mode when the TGP is AUTO and you want to handoff to the WPN page The handoff improve accuracy and shorten the time to achieve a tracking

There was no lock from the Maverick initially. Here's the process : 1. Lock the target with the TGP at 20-25nm. The system try to handoff without result of course. 2. Around 6nm from the target, TMS right short to force a handoff, and the target lock on the WPN page

The problems was : 1. I tried to handoff with all version of the Maverick, but only works with the IR version 2. I tried to handoff too early, within 7nm, but that work better around 5nm I made another test, pointing the target earlier around 20nm then using the TMS right short around 5nm to force another handoff, and the target is locking on the MAV page perfectly.

I try already, but the time the TPOD and the MAV are available, the track is beyond the forum limit. My problem is slightly different, the MAV crosshair does not shake.

Hi, Tha Maverick handoff with the TGP in AUTO does not work for me, despite following this video : 1. Hot start on ramp 2. Boresight of Mavericks on ground in PRE mode 3. In flight, target tracked with TGP in AUTO when in MAV range 4. The handoff message appears on the MAV page and the Maverick is aligned exactly with the target, but the Maverick is not tracking the target 5. If I select the MAV page in SOI and press TMS up, the MAV page is tracking the target and I can fire the missile What am I missing for the handoff to work properly in AUTO mode and the MAV to track the target? I tried with all version os Maverick and differents range, but I have never had the auto tracking of the target. Thanks, Vincent
