I tried just once yesterday and no bullet even touch the target. Personnal opinion, but it's just a non sense that the gun is unusable even in early access. The F-16 was better than that when available.

Hi, F15E clean with A/P ALT HOLD mode : stable flight when reducing speed (Test Pitch stable.trk). F-15E + TPOD + NAVFLIR with A/P hold mode : slightly unstable when reducing speed trhough 250 knots (Test Pitch Unstable.trk). In manual flight, the effect is more pronounced. Even with PROG, I quite sure there is something wrong with the CBUs. I tried differents settings of time and height, set on the ground or in the air, the results are inconsistent. 80 of the time, the CBU deploy at the very minimum height or time. Track attached. Test F-15E CBU.trk

I made some other tests, and it works. It seems that selecting again any CBU make the time/height setting to reset to minimum. Maybe the system works like in reality.

I tried different settings with differents CBUs, but the result is always the same, the bomb disperse always at the lowest altitude. This result in bomblets concentrated at the same point. Anybody have the same problem ?

Hi, Easy to reproduce : - Hot start, - Taxi, - Stop. The HUD heading and the HSI CMD HDG display weird figures (screenshot in attached files). - When taxiing again, the figures are normal. Thanks, Vincent

Hi, On the manual p480, 13.6.2 HUD Designation : "Targets can be designated using the HUD Target Designator (TD) or a piper both in auto and CCIP mode." In fact, in CDIP mode the TDC designate via the flight path vector, not the pipper. Cheers, Vincent

Hi, I made some training with Mk-82 in AUTO and CDIP mode. Image 1 : flying outbound after the escape maneuver. The distance is not indicating the distance to the target point but a point not in the flight plan. At this position, I should be around 6 to 7nm from the target. Image 2 : when entering the target point 11., the distance indicate the correct one. This happen each time I am attacking the passing over the target point. The AUTO SEQ is unboxed. No idea if it's a bug or a wrong config from me. PS : track too large for the forum. Thanks, Vincent

Maybe the team have to deal with this problem : It also happen with the F-16. So, just be patient, should not be long before the release.

Hi, I have the feeling that ED will wait for any bug reports on the velocity search radar to make necessary adjustment/corrections before releasing the F-15E. Maybe in a week? Just my feeling.

Hi, Just a bug report concerning the entered. I want to enter -38°. I first enter 38, but the apps display +10 and there is no possibility to change the value after that. The aircraft CDU indicate the correct temperature. See screenshots in attached. Thanks, Vincent

Agree, but adding a black smoke initially should be difficult.

Hi, I wanted to enhance a little bit a mission by using smoke marker on oil rig (see screenshot). Green, red and blue smoke are beautiful (), but the most realistic is the white smoke. I used this smoke because it's possilb eto set the altitude. So, is it possible to have black smoke for the marker? It should be better to use the fire and smoke effects, but the altitude cannot be set and the fire is to big for a oil rig. Thanks, vincent

Hi, Just a question regarding the CRUS END page. The TO BINGO time indications stop working when the gear is down, but still counting in background. In case of go-around, the time display start again to work. Is it a normal behaviour? Seems to be, but anybody can confirm? Thanks, Vincent
