  1. Running SteamVR and fpsvr. That's about it. I did do a bios update, maybe I missed something during the restore of settings...
  2. Looking looks nice, will be looking into it shortly! Thanks for posting!
  3. I'll double check, but pretty sure I restored all of my settings.
  4. Thanks for the input, guys.
  5. That's kinda funny, I just updated my bios earlier on Saturday. I was starting to wonder if that might have contributed to it...
  6. I am already using the undervolt preset in Adrenaline. It seems that undervolting is giving the best performance boost. I've got PBO2 turned on in the bios with a -10 (undervolt) performance curve for my 5800x as well as having Smart Accesd Memory turned on.
  7. Nice write up. Gives me something to think about...
  8. Posted thus in another reply, thought I'd make a thread to see if it's just me. Got to do a little flying last night and noticed that Wednesday's beta update looks to have changed something performance wise. While performance is roughly the same, I'm seeing spikes in CPU frame times that were not there before and GPU frame times seem to have increased. Especially down low over high density population centers. Anyone else seeing something amiss?

  10. I looked at the Honeycomb as well, but while I admit I'd love to have one, the size (my controls are all chair mounted) and expense had me look elsewhere. Settled on (2) Saitek Pro Flight Quadrants mounted together on a 3D printed mount (found the mount on ebay).
  11. I tried it but didn't notice any real benefit. I'm not running any AA at all really. It's a matter of whether the jagglies a really an issue visually for you. For me, visually I don't really notice them unless I'm looking for them. Try out the different options and see which fits you best. Sorry to hear about your SSD.
  12. Awesome, glad to help.
  13. My pleasure. If anything it should be a good starting place. Also, I've got PBO2 and Power Curve Optimizer turned on in the BIOS with a slight undervolt for the 5800x.
  14. I'm running a 5800x with a 6900xt as well, but I have the Index so ymmv. Here are my settings. Please note that for me turning "Motion Smoothing" OFF removed a large amount of lag spikes in both CPU and GPU frame times. That may not be the same for the G2.
  15. From the "When will it be released..." Thread BigNewy give the indication there will be a 30% discount followed by a 20% discount. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/266179-when-will-it-be-released-i-have-been-waiting-for-a-long-time/?do=findComment&comment=4612988
  16. Yes fpsVR will give you frame times for CPU and GPU. Great tool.
  17. Just using the preset myself, and getting a little boost in performance. I have read that if you have the time/patience to tweak it you can get even more.
  18. I'm actually under volting my 6900xt using Catalyst. Under volting seem to give me the best performance boost.
  19. The AMD app references DX9, but Google searches say it applies up to DX12. Will be interested to see if it works.
  20. Yes it does seem to work, unless it is just a placebo effect
  21. Just a quick note. I've made a few changes to my settings that has given me a bit of a boost. Lowering the refresh rate from 120Hz to 90Hz in SteamVR is giving me fairly steady 88-90fps (with a dip to 45fps low over a city). Frame times (both CPU and GPU) have dropped below 10ms. Still have motion smoothing off and I've advanced super sampling turned off as well. Aslo in the AMD Catalyst software I pushed the AMD Sharpening from 80% to 100%
