  1. Except for the first vid, the rest has been removed. :(
  2. That was a good documentary. Thanks!
  3. I'll be damn. Can't believe I finally learn why they painted those Panzers like that. I thought German tankers just really love potteries.
  4. I can just imagine some people staring at the Nevada ME on their monitor going well, jeez, what now? :dunno: Me, I'm just going to do what I always love doing in ED sim. Fly low and buzz a manpads pride parade. And another thing. No more jagged edge mountains. :D
  5. Get back to work! Yes, you! :P
  6. Why not make a worn postage stamp with proper font and theme from that era? It should represent some sort of a recruitment for the war. Also, that DCS font kills it for me. It looks odd for that era. Look at the FC3 icon; that is a good looking icon without the cheese.
  7. AWESOME!
  8. I couldn't care less about Lockheed, but NASA shutting down the website? Wow, that is sad. :(
  9. The planes will be compatible with both worlds.
  10. It's all good, x93355. We share that one love for all things aviation even its sound. :D Pinksplitter, young or old doesn't matter. Enjoy the vids. It's too bad some of the videos were removed for whatever reasons. I wish this thread is made sticky.
  11. Topic said in-cockpit you know... :P
  12. That sounds about right. :D
  13. That was awesome, Kunze! Here's a mustang. kZThXV1x6RA
  14. So, basically this is mountain out of molehill then? I'm lost. Edit: Wow. I got it! lol Weta, you rock. So is modeling refraction possible?
  15. ED doing what? Mind blown... POP! :P Yes, I'd have loved it if this came from ED's own initiative. I'm betting a lot of people would love to hear how this all came about starting with the gouraud shading Flanker. :D Perhaps now ED will realize it and think about working the camera for a change. We can sort of sense the passion from Yo-Yo's posts but to see it... That bit about the stang was still fascinating down to the battery juice being modeled even though I've seen Yo-Yo working the forums quite often here. Personally I don't really like the Spit but now I can't wait to see what the man has cooking for us.
  16. Are you sure this is the last update?
  17. Who went to check out the Belsimtek trip to record the Mi-8 sound video to see if that was Yo-Yo holding the recorder. They had the man untangling that mess of wire, too. lol He's a math genius for crying out loud. Nice video, too. :)
  18. It was funny watching one Fanker AI against four Buchers AI going at it. It was over within about two minutes. :D
  19. haha LOL That will delay any project. :P
  20. Nice, Python. Got this one from DCS WWII Kickstarter comment section. rGfQQWOsoB8&v
  21. Naw. His ribs are probably cracked from laughing; a little payback for all the flame he had gotten from the banana forums. :D
  22. Yo-Yo and team definitely has my respect. I was just saying Luthier should have at least know that. Of course, my memory may have failed me again. :D You're definitely not alone. I know not to say never but, man, the way it looks now this project ain't leaving the basic tier. Perhaps Luthier thought Oleg's name alone would bring the hive in. I would go out on a limb to say a lot of DCS people probably couldn't care less about Oleg's reputation but got massive rainbow beaming out the wee-wee when heard of Minsk team's and Yo-Yo's involvement. Putting my old flame suit on. :P
  23. Isn't that neat? I've waited all morning to watch it. Yeah, let's get people from other "large new community" all ready to throw cash with private video. EDIT: Also, I've read somewhere that Yo-Yo isn't a lead programmer. He does all the math and handed it to the programmers.
