  1. This is F-15C campaign by Eagle Dynamics which was patched by MadDog-IC. Now converted for F-16C Viper. Includes many bug fixes and most of the voices have been redone for variety. Also removed "RTB for Court Martial" message for failed missions. This 11 mission campaign is pretty fun for anyone who wants to get familiar in multi-flight A2A engagement. Has no A2G missions. Notes Version 1: This campaign is originally designed for F-15C which have larger payload and fuel capacity. Conserve fuel and missiles. You will have enough fuel in all missions but just don't jettison all tanks at first encounter or go full throttle all the time. I'm not sure if F-15C in DCS have quicker cold start procedure, but I would often be too late for some missions if I do "NORM" INS alignment. I recommend doing "STOR HDG" alignment instead. Currently, AIM-120 seem highly susceptible to jammers and chaff. My entire flight would often run out of missiles in some missions. All enemy jammers are disabled. They will still use chaff. On mission 3, if you do the valley run too low, your wingman may run into the mountain. INSTALL: Extract to wherever you put your custom campaign. Typically "C:\Users\*UserName*\Saved Games\DCS\Missions\Campaigns\en\" DOWNLOAD
  2. I must agree this has done wonders for MSFS. Very smooth even with settings increased.
  3. It's not available only if you're running older Nvidia drivers.
  4. I used to do that too but found out that stopped working couple SteamVR versions ago. So I just do it the old way to be sure.
  5. If you want every 1% of advantage, unzip all the huge texture zip files and rezip it using no compression. DCS having to read gigabytes of texture files from compressed zip hurts loading time. Both before and in-game.
  6. Supersampling you changed from 100% to 200% is in Global or Per Application? Per Application doesn't take effect unless you have DCS running and choose DCS from drop down menu. And then restart DCS. If you did that, it's strange you don't see difference. What happens when you increase to 400%? As for ghosting, try with motion reprojection off. I think it's personal preference and modules you're flying. Altho outside scenery is smoother, it causes stutter in MFD's for me and I can't stand it.
  7. Just FYI, I ran into this issue when I changed the warhead of AIM-120 and 120C's to directional_a2a_warhead.
  8. Index and Vive based on the notes. https://steamcommunity.com/games/250820/announcements/detail/3046089750386056564
  9. Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. In your Windows 10 GPU settings.
  10. Just checking since you didn't include in your list. Did you disable HAGS?
  11. It's not impossible but it is difficult. And cause other problems. That's why they're keep avoiding it and not even answering on this popular request. On radio menu, the pointer is attached to the 2D plane in front of the cockpit. You can't lower that pointer to your feet for example. Cockpit mouse pointer is attached to the camera's screenspace (I assume that's what impalor meant as 2D plane). I was wondering how the VR hand controllers work. They stay where they are even when you turn your head. Then I realized when you move your head, the VR pointers shake. Meaning the pointer want to follow the head but continuous polling of the hand controllers bring them back to where they are. Implementing this means having to redo the camera system. Which is actually good thing to finally have proper VR camera system which should also solve different render distance in each eye issue as well. But it's not easy. They can compromise and do it like the VR hand controller. It stays where they are but shakes a little as you move your head. This should be easier to implement.
  12. I think it may depend on brand too. I have Crucial NVMe and Samsung 850Evo. Crucial is much faster sequential read/write of small files. But Samsung outperforms Crucial in every other way including 4K read/write.
  13. Really. You think current in-game female digitized voice "Mission accomplished, you may RTB or engage targets of opportunity" is better? I think Max Headroom was actually better than her. Not surprising since Max Headroom actually was voice actor. What's worse is those digitized voices in game are sound files. People ask why training missions are always outdated. It's because they have to re-record sound files whenever something changes. Text to speech engine can also vary tones and expressions. Sad, happy... Doesn't have to be same voice all the time.
  14. Last few lines of your log suggests your game didn't crash. It was just really slow at loading whatever it was trying to load.
  15. Have you been launching using DCS.exe instead of DCS_Updater.exe?
  16. How come I don't get that? I don't even see those files on my computer. I do have Viper.
  17. I'm seeing a lot of references to missing liveries in your log. If you installed any mods to your Saved Games before, try renaming /Saved Games/DCS/.
  18. armed? or armored?
  19. I can't replicate that issue on my end. As Khopa suggested, it may be related to another mod. @Khopa Well, I just commented the "Lights =" in FireVehicle.lua for debugging and forgot to uncomment them. So I simply uncommented for 8.1 basically, reverting back to default as far as lighting goes. AFAIK, Liberation just creates mission file does it not? I don't see how a mission file can cause that. If it lights up when moving and goes away when stopped, it may be related to the dust particle file which are: \Bazar\ParticleEffects\effects\ TankDirt.lua: Dirt particle for tank which is disabled on my mod because it seemed redundant to Dust particles. And caused flicker. TankDust.lua: Tank dust particles at high speed. Above 20km/h TankDustLow.lua: Tank dust particles at low speed. Less than 20km/h VehicleDust.lua: Other vehicle dust. So I would test at what conditions those lights come on. And narrow it down from there.
  20. Which is the whole point. That Hornet is jack of all trades. It's not annoying limitation because the missions and campaign for A10C will provide CAP. Preferably with F15C or F16C. Not FA-18. You're calling it niche. I'm calling it specialist. If you're telling me that a minivan can pick up the kids from school and do grocery shopping all in one trip. And the Ferrari and truck can't do that. You'd be absolutely right an I can't argue with that. But something tells me I'd still choose Ferrari and truck if budget is not an issue. Hornet reminds me of The Pentagon Wars.
  21. I can strip down my minivan too. Doesn't really make it a Ferrari tho. Why would A10C want to compete with Hornet? I think you may be missing the point.
  22. You pretty much summed up my reason for choosing Viper. If this was like buying a car, I probably would've chose Hornet. Like buying a station wagon or minivan. Both utility and versatile. But if I have no limit in virtual world, I'm getting a Ferrari and a big pickup truck (A10C). I'm just trying to sell the Viper as the OP requested.
  23. Then that's even more inaccurate because if you put your nose against the cockpit, it focuses. And 40cm is only 15 inches.
  24. No, first 5 seconds or so of flight.
  25. I use the Hellfire mod for Ka-50 because of the AI refusing to fire bug. AI would fire on all targets with Hellfire instead of Vikhr so I put Hellfires on my wingman. But when I tried them, I didn't have to lase them all the way to target. I could change target and ripple it when the Hellfire starts to come down from upward trajectory. I'm guessing this is incorrect?
