  2. MY MP tracks won't run at all. Am i doing something wrong. I'm going to replay in DCS world. Choose a track. Double click it, and it starts to load. But i only see a map and free camera. Nothing on the map or any replay at all. After i exit the track with ESC it will crash the game and show me the briefing afterwards. I have the latest update installed. (FC3)

  7. I took all this advice yesterday. And it helped a lot :) I was chased by a Mig-29 yesterday when i was bugging out. I realized i could not outrun him and i had to take the initiative and engage him no matter what. I remembered this post so i tried to use the info as best as i could. I turned into him and kept my turn rate steady. With great results. The Mig-29 didn't stand a chance. He fired 2 missiles at me but they both fell short. This was going pretty fast and i think the Mig-29 was confused and frustrated that i didn't just run. After 1 shot trying to make him go defensive he made a terrible mistake and climbed to avoid. But i was really close on his 12 o'clock low. Now he just made himself a big juicy target. I fired a AIM 9 and he exploded in a great ball of fire. I think this was the first really thought out engagement i ever did. All this with the help of the BVR topic, and this one on how to use turn radius. I think I’m getting the hang of this slowly. Till 104th Mustang showed up on the 51st. With that guy in the air you can better just EJECT.
  8. On the F-15 LCTRL + ~ is correct to change waypoint. I changed it to W. H = Autopilot Height (holds your alltitude) J = Autopilot speed (Holds speed) A= Autopilot / I never used this one cause it makes me fly up and down all the time and keeps my plane turning by itself without following a waypoint. I'm probably doing somethig wrong myself.
  9. I think the song is funny. So i made a DCS video about it. (P.S. Not DCS world but DCS A-10C before world.)
  10. I had the same issue with FC3. I just installed FC3 so i don't know about the previous versions. But when i started playing online it would take a lot of time to load and in game it sometimes just grinded to a halt when flying. I'm not sure what made that happen because 70% of the time the FPS was do-able with 75% of my settings on high. At one point i could not handle the FPS drop from 45 to 0 anymore and switched all my settings to medium and 4x AA and locked my FPS on 45. Now it seems to work well under almost all circumstances. And i can even FRAPS. It's a disappointment that I can't run most of the settings on high cause I think it's possible. Some things are not very well optimized I think. But I have fun flying in this game.. So it's all good for now. I'm just happy that i can play again. And A-10C does work with a lot of settings on high.
  11. Edge won't be only for Nevada. But also for other DCS maps and 3th party map makers from what i have understand. So how can you be against edge if it gives is alot of improvements.
  12. Nice did not see a mig-29 in Outerra yet.. I like the feeling of speed you get when flying around in a detailed area like Outerra. That is one thing i alway's missed in Flight simm's.

  14. Awesome... These are the kind of special things im waiting for. I would fly this for sure. Never ever flew a supersonic bomber before in any flight simm. Now we wait for the B1-b Lancer announcment and the party is complete. Looking forward to this.

  16. To bad ground commanders lag up the game that much. The game has to mature a little more to be able to do such things i see. But the idea can also be done without the ground commander. Thanks for taking my suggestions into consideration. I hope to fly on the 104th server again soon. Looking forward to fly this mission.

  18. After reading this topic i think you guy`s made a fine mission. These day`s i occasionally play some FC3 at a friends place so i never played your mission. But i hope i can still suggest some things. I think there is something missing in the mission you made and generally in most MP missions for public players. And now with this powerfull editor DCS world brings you might be able to pull it off while still having fun. Some more and different type of objectives would bring more dynamic, flexebility and challenge into the mission. *More strategic objectives like bridges, factory`s, EWR sites, munittion depots or anything els you can blow up that has importance for the bigger picture. *If there is a ground commander in the mission you can give them objectives to attack a certain area or town and hold them for x time before reinforcments are send. So after a while if area this or town that have been conquered, defended or hold for a certain amount of time the mission ends. But if all your ground forces and reinforcements are lost you lose aswell. These objectives will create some intersting side missions. - Bridges that can be destroyed can cause massive delay in reaching the target area for the ground commanders and their human tank drivers. Recon vehicels will have the fun task to find a proper and fast route to the target area, cause you dont want to find out with your tank plattoon when arriving at the bridge that it is destroyed. - CAP`s and point defence will have a meaning now. - Recon airplane and vehicels will have a blast trying to extrapolate routes back to the depots and factory`s. And to find enroute resupply trucks and reinforcements. - You will have the possibility to plan a mission real time with your friends when on the server. ( What i do right now is just imaging that i am on some importend mission with a big plan behind it when playing MP , my imagination makes me keep flying these simms lol). - Kamovs can go on unpredictable hunting missions now. Instead of, fly to point B destroy x amount of targets and try to return in one piece. - AI UAV`s can be implemented in a clever way now with some actual use for them. With this new patch you can direct air assets aswell. So lets say if you send a UAV to direction X and it encounters enemy movement in it`s line of sight it will show that group on the map, as long as it is close enough. Or it can send the coordinates to a list So players in SU-25, A-10`s and kamovs can be send out to investigate and or destroy the targets. - Munition depots are now really valuable with the resource system if used right. Imaging several munition depots around the map for blue and red and from those depots trucks with ammunition or whatever resource is send out to the FARPS and airbases. When they arrive safely they replenish the bases and drive back for another load. If they are not able to return back to the depot they are considered lost and will not spawn. Lets say there are 5 depots on each side, every depot has 150 trucks and there are 5 bases on both sides to resupply. Offcourse to avoid server and client performance those 150 trucks wont be send out all at once. Lets say if less than 40% of the base supply`s are depleted 6 trucks with protection are send out to resupply. You can do this with factory`s aswell. As long as the factory`s exsist the mission will respawn tanks, SAM sites and other armored vehicels, in limited quantity`s so that the ground commanders can send them out to strategic loactions around the map. There dont need to be hundreds and hundreds of units on the map at the same time. But just enough to give the ground pounders a great time searching, defending and attacking valuable ground assets that are very mobile, and for great importance to reach your main objective. And in the meantime you give the fighters above a real meaning to defend key area`s and assets and create temporarily air dominance so your ground pounders and resupply trucks can do their job. - To make it more accesible for the non super hardcore players to defend their own side when joining, all the friendly units and your own sides valuable targets should be displayed on the map. I think it does not have to be to complex. Just designed clever. Just enough to make you feel the mission or tasks you do create a feeling that you actually are helping to win the mission. Enough objectives, side missions and unpredictebility`s will keep the mission fun for a long time. Ander after some time with more modules and features comming out you can make it more complex. I think this would be really good for team play but also the lone wolfs or people that just want to destroy stuff thats just to have some fun for 30 minutes. In one way or another they contribute to the mission. Unless they destroy friendly. I hope this suggestion is not to far fetched.

  20. Cheating?? If it is possible in the real plane and they implement it in DCS Fighterjet or FC3 than its just fair game. Or unfair in your opinion. I think some of you guy's actually don't understand what Garros and friends try to say. And i msyelf as a dedicated follower (i don't post to much anymore cause i don't know as much on Fighterjets as these guy's) of these forums getting pretty sick of reading all this BS that have been explained hundreds of times in all possible way's.

  22. You engage and destroy Long Range SAM's with teh P-51? Awesome. I want to see that in a vid. Would be great footage seeing youd estroy a S-300 with a P-51 :)
  23. Hey Fitness88. If i remember correctly the fire key for the F-15 is the space bar or whatever you set it. You have to hold it for 1 or 2 seconds before the missile gets released. I hope that helps.
