The system allows for transmitting and receiving CAS briefs, AAW briefs, free text, on station reports, clearance and abort messages. The system is capable of communicating with both Army and USAF FACs and AOs as well as USMC FACs. Received data is displayed in USMC format. The ATHS provides the following advantages over conventional methods: · Reduces time in a hostile zone while entering mission data into the navigation target logic. · Reduces voice transmissions which may give opposing forces location information. · Increases target data accuracy caused by poor voice transmissions or interference. · Allows the pilot to communicate with the Army and the Air Force.

HI, First make sur the start up procedure is fully completed (not the case on your screenshot, use the (LeftWin - Home cheatto start to make sure this is OK and track down the problem) you have a TV and an IR channel. The IR needs indeed to cool down (4minutes). Also, you may want to go back and forth from P to Ass and back to P on the switch on the console. Good luck!

I attach my options.lua How to replicate (Su-33, Mirage, F-15C do present the banding with the following steps) Launch instant mission F2 external view, Press external Zoom in to the maximum Roll back on mouse to see full aircraft. NB: the banding appears for external zoom in at a high level, not only to the max , and is not visible at minimum distance (ie rolling mouse) NB2: The good news: this does not appear to happen on 2.1 options.lua

Polar coordinates (from RL manual): when selecting BUT, press POL, you get azimuth and distance (from any WP (among a maximum of 9) designated by its number) , then if press geo/utm you get geo/utm This can be used as well to enter new WP/BUT. (eg target announced at 120 for 4, easy, or , you locate target(s) az and distance with Viviane, enter theml as wp , and can find them later -or at least translate to UTM and give coords to a better equipped A-10 friend :-)).

Actually, I am on open beta version. Don't know for main release. And I did not try , but I suppose uninstalling is feasible, as anyway, the module does not appear in my game menus even after "force installing"

The missions are there when you force install the su-33 stand alone. 4 missions in caucasus (CAC, grouynd strike, Gunzo, Take off) To force install : Open cmd and navigate to your dcs "bin" folder and then paste "DCS_updater.exe install SU-33" (make sure its in capitals)

HI, from the RL manual below, as I understand , it goes from aligned with engine, to 98.5. However the aircraft is at 6.5 when hovering and the engine another 1.5 from fuselage , so Vertical (90) is rotating 82 degrees of the nozzle , and it goes up to 98.5 rotation,( therefore inclined 16.5 degrees from vertical) which will be indeed the braking position When the lever is moved aft to the hover stop the nozzles are set for hovering. The position of this stop gives a fuselage hovering attitude of about 6 1/2°; i.e., the nosewheel slightly higher than the main wheels.The engine datum is at 1.5° to the fuselage datum. The nozzle angle for hovering is therefore 82° from the engine datum. A nozzle braking position, at 98.5° from the engine datum, can be selected by lifting the nozzle lever over the hover stop and pulling it back along a ramp
