Yes, 15° at sea level and 29.92 in Hg. I guess we are really not that far in termes of speed. I have the feeling acceleration is sluggish, but I have no reference or doc , just an impression.

Just tried and got 346kts TAS @ 21 500', that's 398mph. (screenshot before reaching max) Question: which max speed table do you all refer to? low fuel (<50%), auto lean, 2 700 rpm. 63 in Hg pressure. (Still no clue about water injection button)

The real aircraft manual states Auto Lean shall be used with water injection. And , I can't figure out the actual role of the "water injection" button

Cowl flaps create major drag indeed and must be almost closed to go fast. Also, mention altitude where you measure speed (Indicated? ctrl-y will display, when repeated, TAS)

It works (for me) with rockets on the Mariana WWIi map against Japanese Schnellboot but this is absolutely not consistent.

Hi, there seems to be two seprate skin directories. Did you try moving the user skins in a F-5E folder (or renaming the F-5E-3 folder) and also copying skins from the game file folder A:\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-5E\Liveries\F-5E-3 to A:\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-5E\Liveries\F-5E

Did you check the VRILLE switch ( yellow/black stripes, left of the ball) is on norm and make sure you do not touch it during start up as once moved the fbw is corrupted definitively, with the symptoms you describe? There might be a different set up in campaign vs free flight…

Hi, you could try erasing cache in SavedGames/DCS_F4E , if the problem persists from session to session.

on the ground, the trim is weird because the artificial feel uses bellows ( des soufflets) with dynamic pressure. when not moving, no pressure, no force. Details in first page of this thread:

Hello, X-56 and keyboard: I checked in control display and , in my case, it happens that pitch trim is moving extremely fast , jumping, while aileron trim and rudder are moving "slowly" ie 4/5 seconds from on extreme to the other. This happens both with stick trim AND with keyboard keypress. This does not happen on (Mirage F1) The difference in behavior between axis is interesting, hopefully leads to a solution? EDIT: tested on the ground. Rereading 3rgd post, will test in flight for behaviour

I concur, one click is too much, eg in landing circuit, can’t stabilize aoa.
