  1. Same problem. This is related to some as30L file name , as mentioned in crash log.
  2. Hello Crashing consistently in the last mission of CA Georgia campaign, after long time in the mission a low use of the F11 / F3 views dcs.log-20190116-080902.zip
  3. did you try the "step" on the stores mfd to go through the different pylons?
  4. Hello Did you try to modify the roughmet file: it may well be a question of reflectivity, Good luck with the skin’
  5. For the record: finally got it, I did not figure out you could take control of the 2 abrams reinforcements, as this is not mentionned in the doc ( or I did not see it) Had the same failure message but success when destroying all russian forces in alpha...
  6. From flight manual: AUTOPILOT ENGAGE —OFF switch ENGAGE — Engages autopilot. PITCH, ROLL, and YAW SAS switches must be engaged. No warmup required. Engages attitude hold. Requires weight off wheels. OFF — Disengages autopilot. HDG-OFF-GT switch HDG — Autopilot will lock on constant aircraft heading when aircraft is less than ±5 roll. OFF — Disengages heading hold and ground track. GT — Selects autopilot ground tracking computed at time of engagement using inertia navigation system (INS) data. Engaged by nosewheel steering pushbutton. Engaged by nosewheel steering pushbutton. (comment: I guess this compensates for wind drift, contrary to HDG above) ALT-OFF switch ALT — Autopilot will maintain barometric altitude. Engaged by nosewheel steering pushbutton. OFF— Disengages altitude mode. VEC/PCD-OFF-ACL VEC/PCD — Autopilot roll axis commands steer aircraft using data link signals for vectoring. If the precision course direction (PCD) discrete is present both roll and pitch axis commands are used. Engaged by nosewheel steering pushbutton. OFF — Disengages VEC/PCD and ACL modes. ACL — Autopilot will accept data link signals for carrier landing, using spoilers for roll and parallel servo for pitch. Only pitch commands are transmitted to stick movement. Engaged and disengaged by nosewheel steering pushbutton.
  7. According to their rank (captain) , operational squadron patch and the FB page , they are actual mirage 2000 C pilots based in Orange.
  8. NineLine, for the WWII abckers (a long story..) do you think there cld be an opportunity to add the A8 and Mosquito to the possible rewards (so we don't have to wait for the 262 which does not seem on the priority list)? Thanks (and keep up your great job as community manager)
  9. Hello The mission stops , stating, all friendly forces are destroyed in alpha, whereas this is not the case. This happens when 1st russian group is destroyed for 5 minutes, I do not get the criteria , whether for succes or failure: any help welcome Thanks
  10. OK, thank you Paganus for the hint. will try to check. Tacview might help. EDIT: Confirm it works: I had indeed a last infantry unit hiding in buildings...
  11. Mission 4: The late activation units do not appear, therefore no win conditions are met.... Am I missing something?
  12. Lifelike! These pilots look very real to me in their DCS Mirages! (from facebook of Base Aérienne 115 Orange : https://www.facebook.com/baseaerienne115orange
  13. Allons z-enfants! Bravo et merci, la gazelle et le mirage ont retrouvé les biffins!
  14. Looking to trying these, and you're offering us the right stuff : new settings, new country, new MiG , with scoring of results! Many thanks ,
  15. Ok, did not recall this :-) Many thanks. Anyway, I managed to pass mission 1 without air support, It’s been painful...!
  16. Hello, would anyone help me figuring how to activate the aircraft in mission 1: I arm them in the mission planner, but when starting, they are invisible. The A-10 stationed in the east are there, but are not manned? Thanks
  17. In C:\user\SavedGames\DCS you should have a Liveries folder where you out skins in a folder ith the aircraft name (eg \Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\M-2000C ) Not home so I do not have the list of aircraft "names " for the folders
  18. Starting in the morning, flying up with friends, many of them, big and small, fighting the baddies getting battered, barely making it home, just to come back home, in Normandy ... victorious. Thanks, Reflected, for the great campaign and impressive number of planes together, I couldn't dream of it in DCS! This brings a new epic dimension.
  19. The trick I use: the contours are actually aligned horizontally, so you have to paint one, and go further than the limit. Then you copy paste a part, which you then translate horizontally (so only one dimension to optimize, no endless repaint) . Ideally you find one point which corresponds between the two limits (think panel limits or counting rivets) Hope this helps NB: the lafayette mirage was nonetheless a nightmare, but I did a cambresis squadron tiger "easily" with this method.
  20. Install in your saved game directory , NOT in the game itself. Explained in the readme below: Version 1.01 Hello! Thank you for downloading the Commmunity A-4E-C Mod. TO INSTALL: Unzip and place the "Mods" Folder into C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Saved Games\DCS.openalpha.* It's okay to overwrite existing files, as this only contains the A-4E-C. *Note: The folder name after “Saved Games” does not matter, as long as it is the DCS folder. If you have multiple, place it into the folder with the name of the DCS version you use. The Community A-4E Mod is a culmination of nearly three years of work on behalf seven driven team members and many vital advisors. We’re proud to present the most comprehensive DCS Mod to date, boasting such capabilities as Air to Ground Radar and Carrier Operations. Created By: Gosapadin (In Memoriam) Gyrovague Plusnine Kryb Merker Jones Farlander Special Thanks To: SkateZilla Dr. Manius Uboats PLEASE DO NOT REUPLOAD OR REDISTRIBUTE THIS MOD WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE COMMUNITY A-4E-C TEAM. Thank you!
  21. Spitfire What do you think? Seems fixed to me.
  22. Did you check fuel level and switch on the supplementary fuel tank? (right of your seat)? might also be overcooling of oil ( check temps) textures are indeed horrible as this mission is very far of the detailed part of the map lastly, if you exit mission after ten minutes, you will get success and progress in campaign. Good luck, you will be rewarded for perseverance when you lead 24 spits to defend 72 b-17 against hords of fw and me. (reading the book chapter before every mission adds a lot imho)
  23. Perhaps because you use waypoint zero. What if you use another?
  24. The Canadian jets are quite close indeed. Let's say they just sit on the other side of the border :-)
  25. The digital green checker camo for the B-17G has it charm, but is not adapted to the period :-) I take the opportunity to stress this mission with hoards of planes is running silky smooth on my system below! (just a half second stutter when all the (24? or more?) bombers appear in a block .
