Now using DCS 1.5/Windows 10/Oculus SDK 0.8/Nvidia 980TI 358.70 drivers It’s getting a little better with each update, able to read the instrument numbers much better. Also feel as if I'm sitting in the proper place in the cockpit.

Very interesting you noted the cockpit feeling small. I have been in several real military cockpits over the years… one thing I did notice is the cockpit does feel scaled a bit small in DK2. When I look at the stick and throttle is when it’s most noticeable. I’m sure over time most of these things will be addressed. It’s too early to have much of an opinion on this... the experts will figure out what’s best over time. I am having a blast though with DCS/DK2!

Personally I am having great success and fun with Oculus and DCS… it seems to be very stable and very playable at the moment. Visually it is stunning and literally puts you in a different world, particularly when you add a headset… it’s so immersive and real that you have a difficult time coming back to reality. Is it perfect, of course not… I do get slight judders and reading the dials is a little challenging but has improved which make things much more enjoyable thanks to settings advice from forum members on this thread. As of right now its free flight only with the L 39 and a few other aircraft, but I am very satisfied with that. Takeoffs and landings are a blast! I had a chance to see a closed door Oculus demonstration from Nvidia recently and could not believe my eyes how perfect it looked. I can only imagine and be extremely excited where this is all going in the next few years. For all of you that are having issues, be patient, this world is changing rapidly in a positive direction.

Definitely needed at some point… I’m sure they have taken note of possibilities a long time ago.

Hi Gents, I have DCS 1.5 running pretty good with oculus, other than the juddering… what DCS/PC settings are most of you running for the best experience? Trying to find the sweet spot. Thanks, -Rick

Hi Bunyap, First off thanks for the videos! The last video in the Shark using oculus seemed to be pretty smooth other than resolution. I am using oculus and it works fine other than some Juddering im experiencing. It doesn’t look as if you are experiencing them in the last video. I am running a GTX 980TI. I am curious what your monitor and DCS settings are? Thanks, -Rick

I was given a 1.3 Violation on 4/9/15… still have no inkling why. Nevertheless it states that it is a lvl 2. 20 percent warning that expires on 10/6/2015 which is a six month warning before it terminates. My question is that it states under the new Warning and Ban guidelines that it should expire in 3 months from the original warning. Will these timelines be adjusted on user accounts? I’m trying to be cautious what I say here so I do not get any additional warnings added on, nonetheless I am a bit curious and perplexed by these new rules and how they affect older warnings.

Hi Matt, My question and how it pertains to the live DCS 2 NTTR weekly feed is as follows… It appears that new test builds of DCS 2/NTTR are rolling out each week for Matt to demonstrate on Twitch. Will you specifically highlight the new features in your specific test builds as they become avail, ATC, weather, aircraft etc…? “This weeks changes are” or at least include in the briefing? -Rick
