Have any of you guys noticed that when you eject your pilot will walk back to base. I ejected and my pilot walked back to base- took him 2 hours.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Yeah I found it, but it worked fine with the last drivers i had. I'm not uninstalling them then changing files before reinstalling it though.

I have BS in the C:/program files right now. I can uninstall it and reinstall it without losing a activation as long as no hardware changes have happened- to install it into a non directed system folder. Because I actually have had to buy another lockon because of uninstalling.

Rgr that, just wondering. I bought falcon years ago after I got lock on- then after 5 minutes ejected it- broke it in half and threw it away.

Even with trim engaged the helo will rotate if the wind is strong enough. Also before take off you can enable trim. If I'm on the runway I will push my stick forward just a bit and trim it, then when I take off I will be moving in a forward movent from the get go. I haven't landed in a forward movent, that just doesn't seem like the way to land with a helo to me. I engage in a controlled hover about 100m above where I want to land- get the helo stablized and land. That way if there is any wind it doesn't matter much.

It seems to me that when I use trim that the stick is unresponsive for a sec or two. Are you in sim mode or game mode?

Also make sure you turn on the right EEG switch, I noticed when I was doing the start up procedures that the keys that I had for the Left Engine EEG switch was for the Right. And I copied what the trainer was saying in the start up predures training video.

Ok, gotcha on FC2 being standalone. I had Lockon up til about a year ago, or maybe longer, not sure why starforce wouldn't let reinstall it on another pc, I just gave up. Now I'm just waiting.............anytime now...... UPS..UPS..UPS..UPS..UPS....COMON

I was under the impression I could just get FC and then install FC2 over that and be good to go. So I should just order the lockon cd and then installFC2 over that, and I'll be good??

I am downloading FC2 right now, so now I'm looking to download the first FC so I will have it for FC2. I can't seem to find any place to download it instead of getting a cd sent to me. I looked on the lockon site and they dont have a dl for as for as I can see.

I'm using a 42" lcd flat screen tv.

I just updated my video card driver (GTX 295). Before I did, I had a 1080p 1920x1080 native resolution, after I updated I can't get the same res. its to big to fit on my monitor (42"). Any ideas?????

Also, make sure you let the engines RPM's get to 70% before doing anything else, wheather your firing up the left or right or shutting down the APU. If you don't you will not be able to fly it, because you will break it. I see that the engines are realistically modeled, and they will blow if you don't use the SOP.

I had some issues getting ti to go also, but I finally got it- memorizing it to the T. I don't even touch the throttle or I get a warning on the yellow light. When u have to hit the 2 or 3 key combos for one switch, its to open the switch guard flip the switch then put the switch guard back over the switch. Kind of wierd the master arm switch doesn't have one though.

It is called a sabot round, its the APFSDS-T ( Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Deiscarding Sabot ). I had loaded them when I was a loader on an M1A1, in 1.4 sec. They are about 37 pounds if memory serves me right. And yes its called that because of the "shoes" that guide it out of the gun tube. Falling down to the ground up to a Km away from position fired. We use to have to go collect them to be recycled at gunnery, But, those were training rounds with training projectiles that were not (classified material). In the battlefield those same shoes are radioactive.

I have exactly 4 gb of RAM on vista64 and I've had no memory issues yet. I also have the GTX 295 with 2 gb of RAM, does this matter??

Is your processor the 3.4 or are you overclocking it??
