  1. I'll help you in my free time Tomcatz- What are you wanting done?
  2. Combatace- I would see if one of the mods would delete those other images- as it is derailing your thread-
  3. If I get my downed rig up I will send them your way- I think I have that one- I may just plug the HDD in and transfer them over, but I'm sure you know how that goes- That dude with the gabillion poly model looks like a good set of plains........:music_whistling:
  4. There was a tool that allowed you to export and import that stuff, but I forgoet the name and couldn't find it for you. One of the guys that are on here will know exactly where to find it- But not sure if there is a template for it, which I believe you will need to create the new texture, but I'm not positive of that- To edit them, or create your own you could use Photoshop or Gimp-
  5. Combatace- How many polys are you up to- What imageplains are you using? I have a few different ones but they're on another machine thats down right now- I'm not sure if they are that variant- would you mind sharing??
  6. Awe and Some- But your friend will need to subtract about 400Mil polys first- Maybe you could share those image plains...eh?
  7. I upgraded my ram by one 2gb stick and both FC2 and BS made me use an activation because of it- I hope that isn't going to run me out of activations as I tend to upgrade and switch hardware often since I do heavy 3d and video work-
  8. Hey guys, I have been expanding my 3D site with my collection of models, I still need to finish adding and rendering images for them, but I have a hand full online. www.motorcity3d.com
  9. Rgr that- I am working on a weathered and stained layer for the texture....well when I have time- Also going to use this model and convert it into a Super-Herc-
  10. I agree with Tomcat- looks very good- what is the poly count??
  11. I agree that textures do have alot to do with selling a realistic model- although I also agree that if not used in a game engine- unless it is a powerful engine that high poly models are better for rendering or animations- These guys obviously strive for highly realistic models and maybe did not want to sacrifice that detail in thier models for this engine-
  12. I don't use max- I assume thats what you are using... The way I smooth parts of my models is select the edges that I want to be smooth then goto my normals controls and select soften edges- and if I want the edges hard I select harden edges-
  13. I agree with you 1000%- They have pushed me to better myself- Seeing this Raptor only makes me feel like I have a ways to go............:book:
  14. Heres my Firefox- Texturing isn't 100% finished- The roundels have also been changed to Russian since these ss were taken-
  15. Go HERE and look at the Raptor on the right side- Thats what your looking for-
  16. I would call that gorilla warfare not modern-
  17. LOL- Pilots can't just hop in their aircraft and take off for a joy ride- It doesn't work like that in the U.S. - maybe a 3rd world country but not SuperPowers-
  18. I think that would be a DAM good idea..:joystick:
  19. Here is a model I am currently working on at the moment also- Again- landing gear and a little more texturing to do-
  20. Awesome attention to detail- might I ask where you got all the reference material to get that detailed? primeportal or are you only working with imageplains?
  21. This model is fully rigged for animation. As far as all the flaps and the canopy- although I still have to model the landing gear- the LG doors are done thou- I converted a KC-135 Stratotanker from maya to max to work in LO, but the trouble of doing that for the model and rigging and the textures was so time consuming I scrapped it- I do not have the textures set-up for the LO texture map format either- I created this model for that site (above)- its a replica of a Bangladesh Air Force MiG-29-
