The skin you Downloaded REPLACES one of the default skins already ingame. You cannnot litterally add a skin. Therefore, under the payload section, if you download a Thunderbirds skin, It will not say "USAF thunderbirds," But instead, it will say "V-212. Eagle-Ragers" for example. However, When you click on the default eagle rangers skin slot, the Skin itself WILL be the USAF Thunderbirds skin. Just look through all the skins for that particular airplane type until you find the one you downloaded and installed.

Oh oh oh! Definitely a great improvement over the bland and dull original. The angles are very cool. Menu screens, menu music, and loadscreens really can make a difference to the overall feel of the game. Keep us updated. Btw, Put this type of thing in the Mod section.

Wait, Ds Has already leased an awesome Eagle pack. It replaces All of the US eagle skins. So what exactly are these? Are these more current updated versions?

Save the skin files to your Hardrive as a .zip file. Use the 3rd party utility called LOMAN to install these types of skins, mods, textures, and more.

They have already recommended to turn reflections OFF specifically when flying the Su-25T.

There are several Beta testers that still visit there in addition to here. Also, again, there is a very large community over there still. I think we owe it to them, as was did for us back then, to keep checking back and helping the newbs, keeping the game alive, and also that particular community. A lot of guys only check there, so the you can get great results to questions there, which you may not find here.

Well its the campaign. That means there is a storyline and you are carrying out a mission that is part of a more elaborate scene. For example, you may be a russian terrorist group with a few Mig-29's smuggled in from various owners. One of the themes of the campaign may be the fact that fuel and ammunition is limited. Therefore, you would takeoff with only 50 percent fuel, and 4 R-73 missles. This adds to the challenge of the mission and the sense of immersion. Of course, this is only for campagins, You can edit your payload to whatever your likings in your own missions.

You cannot change or alter payload, difficulty setting, and other things regarding the Mission Editor. The campaign was made for a reason, and you have to fly it strait up with the ordinance given.

heh...well if you want to talk about Sexy Flankers..IMHO Flaps down on a flanker IS prettier. I just like how it looks when the flanker is at High AOA, like in my sig, with the flaps down. The sun reflects off them with a different angle than to the rest of the plane. That airline would be United. One of the major factors that makes me fly them instead, when I Could be flying comfortably in the leather seats and seeing the pretty faces of younger flight attendants of other airlines..

Yep, That site is simply the BEST source for Live ATC. Go to "Live ATC Audio Feeds" and select an airport. I would go for JFK tower/ground. They are hands down the busiest on the list with the most variety of airlines, aircraft, and heavies. Kennedy is the major hub for all the internationals. I just like to open it up and listen to it as if it were streaming music :) Anyway, I wouldnt use it in the backround as windows media player hogs up a bit of my CPU that lomac uses all up.

WOW. That is one Lethal looking model. The skinning is excelente! All the rivets and bumps make it look like it has bump-mapping (I wish). So once you finish doing the LODs for the model, what will be your next plan of action? I hope word of this model definitely gets out, and the Dev's take the time to impliment this ingame.

See, superkungfu, you're getting a frame rate drop with high res skins purely because of your particular system, I guess it isnt much of a good setup. The frame rate drop happens every single time for you. With us, or I guess Me, I have used the particular skin for ages without the slightest of a FPS drop, yet Once, every so often, I would get the problem and symptoms as described in my above reply. I would realize the bug was in affect, and all I would have to do to cure it was close the game and get back in, and the skin worked perfectly again.
