Dunno, I might see a slight lowering in FPS, a bit, and at the place you say in the very beginning over plenty of houses, but "stutter"? I don't see any stutter at all by the way the same I clearly saw them in the initial Syria videos or Normandy v1.0 when first released, those were pretty obvious. So, as far as it keeps like that in the whole map bearing in mind it's still unreleased, unoptimized and unpolished, it's good for my money.
-
Maybe those stutters are on your playing device? I'm watching full screen highest quality on PC and there're no stutters at all.

I believe all words fall short, amazing…

He's a usual troll around here, his first post (in the wrong forum, of course, as he tried to stand out playing dumb like he didn't know there's a specific subforum) was surprisingly "well mannered" knowing his usual behaviour. But he can't help it and showed up as soon as you replied him, but it's no news for a known troll/kid/kidtroll user. It's better just to ignore him and his "claims", his many "friends" with his same opinion, are probably only in his imagination, and so on. Don't bother yourself trying to argue with logic points with him, he won't see anything further than his own twisted weird self centred already shown "opinion".

32Gb here, and it works flawlessly, to be honest. Together with Channel map probably the best looking map right now (Marianas not behind). It's not any good, it's plenty of good.

I backup saved games only, perhaps a couple settings I made by hand also (they're in the game backup file every patch anyway, two screens setting and so), and that's it. To me, it makes no sense backing up the whole install since it would be the same whole install you can get just reinstalling, I don't use that much mods nor I install the few I use on the main install file but saved games. Sadly even backing up sometimes controls settings are useless, every time you make a new drivers install, even the very same drivers since years ago (some devices get no more updates, for instance) your device gets a new windows internal id and old backed up controls aren't recognized any more. Still worth the try, in the modern DCS gui you can easily load manually those saved controls (very old ones sometimes don't work) and that problem doesn't happen every time and every module, so…

It's not fully fleshed out, last time I checked (time ago) they still gathered people's help to identify/add more models and things related to aviation here and there, not necessarily when a plane is a "main character" in the movie, even just when whatever even remotely aviation related thing appears in an absolutely non related to aviation film just by chance. But of course one can check well known films about what the list of aircraft stars are, sometimes even serial numbers, where came from/where are those aircraft now, and so on. It's a nice database.
-
Well, it was easier than I thought . The Internet Movie Plane Database
-
Yeah, you definitely forgot the most obvious reason many Generation X people are fans of the Tomcat till today . Somewhere there is a web where people identified aircraft (correct model for the story/real event, or not), it was interesting but I wouldn't recall the address nor I have it saved anywhere. Would be a nice place to check.

Suggestion for a chargeable MiG21bis II upgrade
Ala13_ManOWar replied to Rosebud47's topic in MiG-21Bis
Now you made us want badly a MiG-21PFM . -
You know whenever someone thinks everything turns around himself has a name, right? It's even diagnosed .

Haha, you're right, but I meant in a more literal way. If everything one finds everywhere is just complaints, the "option" would be I don't read a thing, I don't know whatever ED and third parties are up to, I have no right to know all of that because I have to cut myself out of the forums or anywhere just because that kind of people is all around everywhere. It means those individuals would have managed to effectively cast me out of everywhere because they're everywhere . But the same they claim they have right to expose their points and opinions (if we tell that's what they do, ahem…) because they paid, I also paid for about 3/4 of ED's store things and I think I have the same right to read, and tell my mind, I just try to keep it civil and polite which those apparently forget to, and I try not only to other forum members but to the devs either… they are people like me after all. I mean, I'm a customer, right, but I'm not the "master of my slaves" to treat them like those people do "because they paid", if you get me.
-
Like one has that option whenever all it's found at forums is complain this, complain that, complain about everything, complain everywhere they find the tiniest spot to complain no matter they are right or not . I learnt a lot of time ago you don't always have to say everything there's is your head, just saying. If I were out there doing the same they do all of the time it would be a literal WAR, which apparently is what they seek… Still they aren't right 90% of the time, but they spill whatever anyway just in case, like spoiled child seeking for their parents attention .

Will the expansion also fix the graphics.
Ala13_ManOWar replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: Normandy 1944
Yeah, peoples' eyes aren't apparently watching the same everywhere… -
And that's usually the problem, too many people these days apparently think they can just pop up and throw random and usually false <profanity>e into the fan and then they just go away leaving the place all swamped, whether they have reasons to do do or not. Apparently they should be kids which never knew the old times where you bought whatever it was, it didn't work as you thought but you had to stick with it and that was all because the guy at the shop had nothing to do with whatever the product you were buying, they just sold it and you buy or not, period. But people these days have a problem with frustration management, and sometimes they just are wrong no matter how much money you spend in whatever the thing. They'll be better using that money at the psychologist rather than spreading their frustrations on how the world is or isn't over the rest or the people on the internet. Grow f&%$g up kids with plenty of whitish hair down there.

Because, if you knew the old map at all, you'd recognize in the few picks we've already seen, it's not just an "update" to the old map, it's a whole new map encompassing the same area the old one did, and YES, we're happy because it comes at a huge discount for everyone already owning the other two WWII maps, and people like you were b!t€h1ng all around since ever because the old map looked bad shade of green, so now you have your updated/new map with a correct shade of green and plenty of space to fly in from London to Paris. And I have to complain about that?? You people can't stop befuddling me about finding new subjects to complain about, if they don't do what you want it's bad, but if they do it's bad either… If you hate so much DCS I'll just show you where's the exit door .

Yep, in SAF Recce at that time was performed by RF-4Cs (RSF-5As even earlier), and later when those were disbanded a Recce pod was added to the Hornet, so no need for F1M to perform Recce, though I'm not sure if among the many pods they carried any of them could be actually a Recce one, probably not but I don't really now. Anyhow, in the last time of service as F1M it was mostly a dedicated ground attack aircraft, so capabilities were probably focussed on that instead of initial A-A and so if ever Spanish F1s were able to perform Recce at all.

Hope not!! SMT is ugly as hell…

Yep, checked it and that's right, though I believe they aren't D-day markings, they're post-D-day markings, the leftovers only in bottom sides which lasted quite long instead of one single week, hence it's not his famous LF.Mk.IXc EN398 but a later airframe. Anyhow, I think I was confusing the E weaponry and Mk.XVI in general with bubble top XVI, those were the ones having only two weeks of service in Europe at the end of the war. My mistaken poor brain, every day recalling worse and worse . Point remains, 4 .50cal guns in a Spit means what if…
-
IIRC, the E type weaponry (.50 cal brownings x2, not 4) only came in Spit XVI, and later on upgraded to some IXs. Possible, yes, but I believe either they flew in the war for two weeks before it ended in Europe, or something like that. Other than that, you're asking for a literal what if, 4 .50 brownings intead of the .303 ones, DCS generally try not to model what ifs (some third parties loadouts, ahem, but generally speaking they try not to). You want to make a mod for that which will be unusable online great, make it for your own use, upload it to user files and perhaps some others find it amusing and usable, but a weird and unheard of what if I'm not sure that's a realistic scenario to hope for devs to make or even consider . And as always, no, it's not just a copy paste, that extra weight on the wings would definitely affect FM for bad, worse roll for sure, less top speed and acceleration probably, less climbing speed for sure. That's no copy paste, no.
-
TBH from that list all of them should come to DCS sooner or later, and some of them we even know will come sooner than later to DCS WWII. All of them should be in the planeset, flyable if possible, but even IA if something as a beginning. Hard to pick a single one.

Not an expert either, but according to manual, and as far as I remember, it was best to just leave it in auto mode. The manual mode isn't intended for piloting purposes but emergencies where the auto mode stops working, or something like that. You would need to keep a constant eye in (insert the gauge I can't remember here) and you would have to move it literally all of the time any time you change your speed/altitude, so no humanly possible way to manage that in a full combat environment. I can't recall all the details, but I search it on the manuals just out of curiosity and what I remember after some reading is concluding auto is best and it makes no sense trying to use it manually. At low speeds there's perhaps a couple positions that would work, but not the whole flight if you go high, then low, then high altitude/speeds-Mach number, so in the end it wasn't very optimal trying to manage it manually. Still this is a "game" and perhaps some fellow member have found ways to take advantage of it, but I didn't find them.
