  1. It's stressed that you do it on the default map as some people who need to see it, probably don't have that map, so I'd recommend doing it on the Caucasus map and then re-uploading it
  2. Exactly because no matter how much we complain it still will take time. Sure I may want to try the module, but I do work for another game and it takes time to work on, so let them worry about getting it ready and less complaining, because it's not going to move any faster either.
  3. I mean I can't say you're wrong but overall I don't do anything whatsoever with the kinematics of an AGM-88C, but I do know it's not a silver bullet that's for sure, at least in the sim. As for real life we'll have to have somebody who actually fired them to weigh in, because I'm not that guy.
  4. I mean I never coded for DCS, but what little I saw when me and SkateZilla worked together years ago, there's a lot you can and can't do. It makes no sense going to jail to provide players with a real experience. I mean it would be nice, but i think they care about such things. Even for another game I play, I have to balance what I can do with the files, and what I have to keep to myself as well.
  5. I mean then you'll be approaching games like sandbox ones that do feature visible cargo, but in the end it would be kinda nice, +1
  6. Okay it's going to be a long one, but if it's not happening when tested, I'll leave this one alone then. Thanks though as any short distances it works fine, but anyway, okay.
  7. I guess you call it the HSI when you have the default right CDU page on the screen. Anyway I was doing a basic waypoint exercise to get familir with navigating and the HSI doesn;t go to the third waypoint. It should be noted that the waypoints are made in the Mission Editor and not on the fly like in the Flight Plan area, just following the points to make sure I can get around in the helo and whatnot. It doesn't seem to want to follow the points after the second one. I was going to do a track, but this only happens at long distances, and not short distances (which I was doing in the track), so I can make a track, but it'll be too long, so if you don't mind I can do one, but not sure how long it could be. Bug track.miz
  8. Agreed, while DCS has a TLAR (That Looks About Right) attitude sometimes, it generally doesn't skimp on the details that can be done and such.
  9. Just did a short flight in the terrain, I wish they'd get some of the cities fleshed out. Anyway was going to bring up Iran as it needs some love too, given the closeness and the like. But I'm sure they're maybe working on it though, given the historical significance of the map. But yeah +1 for more Iranian airbases.
  10. I just googled it and it says the C can still engage if the radar is shut off, and isn't as accurate, The D model is more accurate though, through the GPS/INS and so on.
  11. I don't fly the F-16 but the HARM is designed to remember the location of the emitting radar if it goes off. That was a feature added to real world HARMs due to experience with the Vietnam War when SAM radar operators turned off their radars due to a Shrike or Standard ARM attack and confuse the missile. If I'm reading right then that's intended behavior.
  12. There was a chin sensor proposed, but for some weird reason they went with the tank. Military logic didn't logic this time I feel.
  13. I think you'll have to create a mission yourself in order for that to work out.
  14. I mean I wasn't pushing the deal with the topic notation that it wasn't going to be done so it's all good man. Well said and cool with me as the Litening is good enough for the work it does, so thanks for this.
  15. I didn't realize that there's separate threads for User Mods and the like, so while we're past halfway to the end of the year, why not have one?
  16. Yeah we gave them some Stingers and I think the British Blowpipe, but they liked the Stingers if my mind serves me right.
