Yeah I skinned the F-5 for somebody years ago, and I think it was before they encrypted the models, so I did the work and moved on, and took a break due to not enough hard drive space., Now that I got a better laptop with more space, I can get back into it now, so that's good. As for the Mig-29 agreed, it'd be a real shame if they didn't encrypt it though, as I'd like to mess with it myself.

I decided to do one but there's already a skin present for the DDR scheme with the East German Air Force skin already present in the base files.

I selected it fine from the nations menu. It's not set to USA, it's set to UKR, which is Ukraine. So I don't know why it's not working for you, but I just checked it and it came up for the C II EDIT: I think it just requires a certain setup so it works with foreign nations. Try the attached and see if that doesn't fix it, as it should Fictional Ukraine.7z

Okay I'll look into it then, maybe it needs to be changed for the C II.

Looks like I'll have to wait for Steam to update, but will get.

I think the community will come up with some. I know I have a couple in mind, a RuAF one I did for the previous FC bird, and a couple fictional versions too.

Is that planned or is it specifically for the F-16? If not then cool, but it would be cool to have a better pod for the Hog.

I think the issue we're running into is that the C model has some obvious differences, and we're trying to work around it. I mean the part in front of the canopy isn't removable to my knowledge, and the turkey feathers would require a complete airframe specific model in order to work as intended. There's only so much we can do to finish the texture.

Okay I don't know if the grey area is a part of the C model (looks like something that is a part of the overall model, and not a mistake on my part), so I'll see what I can do. I'll fix the rest though. 22 FS Bitburg.7z

Yeah, sometimes businesses aren't the greatest in some cases with how they do things. I'm having an issue with the C II already, but hopefully in the future it will be fixed. I'll upload the skin then, and post the link when ready.

I have the module myself, but haven't taken it out for a spin (been meaning to) yet, focusing on the A-10 as I get back into things.

I've been on the forums since like 2004 really. But there seems to be some misconception about me I feel, and had to just clarify it. Somebody else on the forum here alluded to me "being on the inside", and had to just clarify. But I know what I did, I just can't talk about it, NDA and all.

Jbad to me has bad runway textures, as you can't spot the airfield from the sky. I'm sure helicopter pilots have no issues, but fast jet issues are there, and the runway texture needs to be darkened so you can spot the airfield from the air to land.

After finally getting a laptop with enough hard drive space (2 2TB SSDs), I'm getting back at things in the DCS world. And also I'll take this moment to clarify some things: - I did do previous work in the past with ED (can't say what exactly so don't ask other than consulting work for the A-10C OG module), so there are some with the perception that I'm on the "inside", and I currently am not, and right now nobody has approached me to continue to work. I'm open to work and if they want me to help then I can do so, but I haven't made any requests to get back into things either (It's only been almost two weeks and I'm still re-learning things). I need to re-establish myself here, and that's fine, I can put in the work to do it and so on. But while I do know some people around here, I don't make an effort to get the "inside scoop" (even though I could, I'm a regular Member, not "on the inside" right now (I see the same thing all Members do, so there's no special stuff with me). It could change and so on, but for now I'll be one of you people unless things change. I know back in the past I've said some negative things about ED, but that's in the past and wanted to just move on as I said my pieces and now it's time to work, and so on. - As for flying I'm getting back into the A-10C II and so on, and as you may have seen, skin work too (one of my favorite things to do with the sim. I may branch out into the Apache, but right now I'm sticking with the Warthog, and when the new Mig-29A comes out, I may look into it and planning on doing skin work as I have a few ideas once the template comes out. I still have templates for most of the aircraft, and see that some aircraft haven't changed over the years, so I'll look into doing more and such.
