  1. No luck either, still crashes when I double-click on a folder to open a model. It seems to have an issue with file handling and whatever else. Besides the sim creates the folder automatically so it doesn't help.
  2. No luck man, looks like it's a hopeless case. I appreciate the effort though, nice to see.
  3. Here you go... model_viewer2.log
  4. Tried that and no joy. It now opens fine, but when I try to open a folder, such as Bazar, it crashes then on a double-click. So that's progress I guess lol.
  5. Yeah that's weird. I'll try and find it for Windows 11 (which I'm using, not 10). I tried the NVIDIA control panel and tried to make it use the NVIDIA GPU but didn't work (thought it would be a sure fix) though. I'll see what I can do. I'd wonder if there was a way to force it but it crashes anyway without warning so I guess that option is out. Also I'm running DX12, not 11 which could be causing the issue. It's looking for DX11 and its 12, therefore causing the crash. Least that's what I think.
  6. I mean it sucks that it's a bit old (less than one year) but I'm sure that they'll get to it... sometime I suppose.
  7. I'll upload it and see what is happening. I don't know why it's not recognizing the card. I'll upload the log here and maybe something will work out: It also should be noted that I'm using the Steam version. Some time ago I downloaded the OpenBeta from the DCS website and have had the same issue if that helps any. Everything else works as it should, just ModelViewer being picky. dcs.log
  8. I agree as I'm trying to relearn flying the A-10C and using Mavericks. After watching a video to get me re-oriented I use the TGP and try and lock on. Still need to learn how to SPI it but I prefer to shoot with the TGP.
  9. You have to add an "aircraft" folder for it to recognize the mod. I had the same issues until I read the readme.
  10. Thanks, found it, here's my log then: model_viewer2.log
  11. I dealt with them in 2008-2009 and they were a good bunch, but I was in the Kunar Province but still... fun times.
  12. Okay I'm having this issue and having the same error message with Modelviewer 2. I'm not messing with shaders at all and can upload the log file as well (I don't know where to find it). Version is a fresh install. It gives the same log error as the same above, but again not messing with shaders. It works fine until I go to view a model, but otherwise works okay more or less.
  13. He's busy with real life. I'm thinking of doing more skins since there's not much going on with me. Unfortunately ModelViewer2 isn't working with me (keeps on crashing when I open files) and I don't have the mod (had some real life issues get in the way) so I can't work on the skins anyway...
  14. There's a link in Russian posted on the previous page, but since I don't know Russian I skipped it.
  15. I wouldn't mind either but it's the matter of trying to keep them carrier capable but overall doesn't seem like it may happen..
  16. The easy part is lining up the weapon, the hard part is lining up the refuelling basket. Get wth Yeniceri on getting the refuelling points, as I believe either he's just modelling it in the exact spot, or may have figured it out, as moving the ladder and probe would be a waste of time and consume alot of it.
  17. Alot of things would brah, but there's other things like the animation in the cockpit view, etc. etc. i.e. more support but then again, you'd have to probably just make it very unrealistic, and try and "flip" the probe. But if you had the arguments... yeah it'd make it easier as you wouldn't have to remodel things.
  18. You'd have to figure out the argument (I would assume) for the refuelling probe, because it "lines" up with the basket in the sim.
  19. Well judging from the screenies so far it will ;)
  20. { value = 0.1; material = {"gvd_panel", "standart", "gvd_panell.bmp"}; material = {"knt_panel", "standart", "knt_panel.bmp"}; } What you can try to do is change the 0.1 to 0.2 in the .skins file if it's setup correctly. If not as per what Yeniceri said... then it may not work. Usually the .lom file should generically allow you to do it. That's how I understand it anyways..
  21. Subdue the insignias and stuff on the green one and it'd look righteous...
