  1. All I did when I had a question of what to do was use the Editor when it's available, so there's no need for a trainer or training module or whatnot. I mean, sure, going on a server is what most prefer, but you can learn things in an environment where you don't get shot at, or have to worry about anything coming after you, like some experienced player shooting you down when you don't know what's going on. I don't know why people don't make that connection, and insist on some kind of trainer plane to learn something that the trainer plane doesn't have. Like what I do, I fly around and plink stuff with the A-10 so I'm familiar with most of the functions, and so on.
  2. Now available for download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344677/
  3. Yeah... ED hasn't said much of anything other than they'll inform us when they can. Nobody from the company to my knowledge has updated the FAQ, so they might, who knows.
  4. Not on this particular skin, all of them were low-viz style, so I kept it that way. I thought the same, but again the pictures I had showed low-viz roundels
  5. Pretty much done with it. There's not much else I want to do with it, so here it is:
  6. Thanks, got it. Will upload shortly though.
  7. Tail and tailplane work, going to move on to the wings and it'll be uploaded later on today:
  8. Yeah SOLIDKREATE just sent me the stuff for it, but thanks man.
  9. EFT Texture? What does that mean? Not sure about the seat, may be a separate model. EDIT: It's not mapped on the template anywhere, so you'll have to live with it. Got the canopy
  10. Work on the nose area so far. I know I've said some negative stuff about ED, but they do make great templates. Easily the most intuitive and so on once you figure them out anyway:
  11. More work. I don't remember (I think it was an Su-35 prototype) which Flanker version it was on, but I remember the general colors, and recreating it for the F-15C. Anyway more progress on the centr file:

  13. Now available: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3344654/
  14. Anyway got these fixes in before it being approved: - Black wheels - Removed the occlusion stuff, I didn't like it that much anyway, so it'll look more real.
  15. I'll see what I can do
  16. More slow progress. Splinter schemes are good, but are time consuming and when done, work out pretty nice, so I'm learning the templates a bit as I go along.
  17. Yeah I messed up in doing the occlusion layers. It's not bad so far. But, I might remove it based on your advice. I don't like baked in shadows myself (I think that's a bit much, and in some cases it works, so hit or miss), but it's my first F-15, so I'll take it and work on it.
  18. Just something I thought of out of the blue. This being the second of my F-15C journey, I decided to do this one and maybe move on to other things, like actually playing DCS than just starting to skin again. But it will take some time anyway, but I have this fictional skin in mind for the Eagle. I'm keeping the 65th stuff of course, so that stuff (along with the patches) are still there, just need to do the body and wings and stuff.
  19. I managed to finish it, I tried @streakeagle (now it works lol) on the topic, but it didn't go through there, but it's uploaded and waiting approval.
  20. Well I managed to figure out the patch file, so that's done. I uploaded it as a version 1.0 or so, maybe some user feedback will improve it. Anyway @streakeagle, I'll post the update when it's active
  21. Some progress. Now I have to find the pilot patches and figure out how that works out:
  22. Never mind, I found the shield through some luck, whew!
  23. If there was something clearer on the first image then I could use it, the stuff gets in the way though. I have one from SOLIDKREATE but I don't know what period it's in. I can see what I can work with though. The bottom photo is better for the tail eagle/bird though, that helps a lot. And apparently my Flikr-Fu isn't that good either...
