reported A10c ii MFCD backlight brightness not working
EricJ replied to DOG's topic in Bugs and Problems
If he was he'd have a "ED Beta testers" or the like under his name. But the answer is no, he just assumes that they're not working on it. And I don't know if they're working on it either, so don't ask me. -
Generic African map. (yes I know Africa is a continent)

I think so too, not many tanks in Africa. -
correct as-is When will they fix the flight model?

A lot of FM stuff is probably looking at a video and trying as best as possible to mimic the real life version. I know for my Super Hornet project for another game the FM guy based it off of airshow videos and the like. It'll never be accurate because probably that's classified information or not accessible to ED on actual performance. Even with it out of service there are still layers of secrets that probably will never see public viewing. I mean are you a real Hornet pilot to judge? Probably not like I am. So it'll be "wrong" in some sense. They can only do so much. -

It's a Rooikat, but I believe it's 76mm. There was a "Rooikat 105" but I don't know if it was adopted or used. -
t Thanks, I'll download them ASAP.

Good because I may download this one.

True, but I don't feel like it. ED spent good time coming up with Auto Start and I'm going to use it though.
-
I agree. I use Autostart on the A-10C and I don't feel guilty of not learning it. I mean there's getting down and doing it, but realistically I don't have the desire to do a full manual start. Unless the startup wasn't so complex and full of steps to perform.

At least they're making an effort. Before they didn't do too well with bug reporting and made me kinda upset too. But sometimes they can't reproduce and doesn't say that they're not making an effort. I've noticed some topics have it reported and they will get to it.. sometime.

Which link? The NVIDIA works fine for me.

Looking good!

DCS takes the simulations too literally to be fun or practical.
EricJ replied to gotit's topic in New User Briefing Room
I agree with this, as I just fly around plink targets for now. I mean I'm learning, or relearning the A-10C and so on. I may graduate to other modules but for now I'm fine with doing what I want to do, and that's have some fun doing it. If it means learning the plane so be it as I'm not put off with the clickey cockpit and so on. It's just a learning thing and learning something new is always good. -
Sure thing

Okay I'll see what I can do though. It's been awhile so it'll take some time getting a handle on all of this.
-
The Su-25T is much different from the Su-25 so you'd need separate profiles to use them.
-
Nah I'd rather use the TGP first as the small window I have with the Mav itself doesn't really help much, unless I use it with the TGP. I need to make good shots at long range so I'll lead with the TGP though...
-
No both of you answered the question to my satisfaction, I appreciate it.
-
I'm a bit confused on how to set an SPI. What HOTAS command do you use to get the Maverick to automagically move to it as I'm trying to improve my use of the TGP/Maverick combo.

Nice work!

Nice work ZedTank. Maybe if I get interested enough into the Apache (I got the module, haven't touched it yet) I'll download a few of yours.
