Well i never tried occulus but i have the same opinion, i feel it in my bones :-)

I recommend to get very GOOD Mobo, most important thing, this is heart of the PC, count on overclocking if you dont want to upgrade every year. Choose intel for CPU now, maybe in future AMD will be better. Cooling, noctua is the best. ram: 8Gb for now, 1600mhz , 16gb for future 2400mhz HDD: Samsung 840 ssd and any HDD , they re almost the same. GPU: this is hard to choose, everybody here say that DCS runs better on nvidia but for future maybe better choice is AMD , because of all optimizations to be made for GCN architecture (new consoles) case: coolermaster - centurion or silencio pure 650 PSU: enermax or seasonic modular, i use for my PC 500W enermax liberty for 6 years and never had a problem.(look at my sig) every year the power consumption is getting smaller with faster CPUs a mobos so i didnt have to buy better and bigger. Display: Choose 16:10 ratio (1920*1200 or 2500*1600) and IPS or S-pls panel because of colours its better for work. I use benq bl2411pt. Dont buy cheap parts. its better to buy most important parts first and then every month buy another.

I am happy to hear this, because i plan to buy hires version when its available. The only thing i am afraid of is that i use glasses, i have myopia. So i am afraid of getting it worse. I preffer to have better eyes than better immersion.

TRue , i remember those times when we were waiting for patch aproximately 1 year to fix the bugs. Autoupdater is a huge step forward.

Just finish the basic theater, planes , FM and DM and if it will be good(which i suppose will) everything other like B17 and bigger map will snowball. Follow the classic scheme step by step. I am sure you will be succesfull. every another update patch with something new and simfans will give you another money so that you can continue to make it better. (throwing them on monitor) Now i need to get back to CLOD and team fusion patch :-)))) Awesome work Luthier could you just explain the old CLOD engine vs new EDGE i liked the lighting, reflections and haze much more in original CLOD than EDGE. Is it tunable into the CLOD result? PS: Please Make a donation button on your website with another funding goals so i can fund the WWII every month with a little money.

I think that title says it all , just like with Star citizen, after completing kickstarter campaign they continued with another funding goals on their own website. Now they are at 18 milions although they began with only 2 milions. Do you plan something similar?

You have my money, because I love (i know i am minortity) CLOD. What your team and TEAM FUSION was able to achieve is awesome i have a deep faith in you. (throwing money on my monitor)

For me its a disappointment because every friday i was looking forward to any kind of info about my favorite sim. I dont care its just a screenshot or a few words. I am just happy to know there is something happening behind the curtain in ED. Again all those whiners and trollers win against those silent positive people that dont behave like small children.

Yeah i know that, DCS so complex, that someday (reminds me falcon 4) we will have polished release :-)

It would be great to have once a year release called for example 1.2.5 BF (bug free) that is rock stable in SP and MP so that everyone can play the DCS without any problems and let the ED continue to add features in other releases a betas although i think its technically impossible because of 3rd party modules. The problem is that DCS is dynamic environment and every new release brings something new to the modules. Of course that it must be possible to revert back to this BF version.

O M G !!!!! I expect the new EDGE modular, so we will get better screens and effects as the time goes by just like with DCS world right now. Still hope that EDGE will be more AMD friendly.

True, there no need to bash Ilya and Oleg, they created awesome IL2 sim and wanted to make something unique with its CLOD. Nobody knows what really happened inside team and about its premature release by ubi. Right now, Team fusion is fixing CLOD and what they achieved for the last 6 month is unbelievable !!! We will have another cult sim, the only problem is that source code is not available.

After hearing these news i got heart attack, this is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
