@skatezilla: I read lots of people talking about the huge FPS gains over reducing shadows, trees, and drawing distance..... It´s not actually posible to oclude non-visible objets and shadows in the actual DX11 graphic engine? (so they don´t waste GPU time) Maybe is that a function only aviable in DX12 or Vulkan? Is that the solution to improve most of the stutters people reports?

Number of worked months to buy a 2.000 $ rig per country: that´s easier to answer, yes And based on average payroll in each country, of course. It will be less than a month in Switzerland, Monaco and Luxemburgo, U.S.? and more than a year in Venezuela, Argentina, etc. (Taking into account that you have to live too). Government politics are destroying citizen abilities to buy a decent DCS rig: yes, that´s happening. You have to focus on scaping from that trap. It´s not easy to climb that ladder, though. Anyone knows if DLSS MUST to be allowed in-game or you can force it on Nvidia drivers? Maybe resolution upscalling is a feature of DX12+ and Vulkan and can´t be enabled in DX11, because AMD RDNA2 will have such a feature too (even in next gen consoles). We will need that on VR and dual 4K panels. (And on standalone VR headsets that works over WIFI). The future of VR will be wireless with upscalling inside the headset.

But, The complete name of the Mobo. https://es.msi.com/Motherboards Wich one? (the higher number of power phases, the better). Allthough you are not going to render movies 24/7 or overclock, so: you will be fine.

What MSI z490? (be more specific, please) And: The coolermaster PSU is a Gold or platinum one? (because Ampere cards are wasting lots of energy too).

That 10900K processor consume and waste heat, but, if you can afford it, there is no better CPU right now. Good Price/performance for DCS on Intel side: 10600K or a good offer on 10700K are the ones that most people should buy. (Normal offerings with good performance and average thermals). But 10900K will maintain higher boost clocks for longer times. You only want to allow it with a good cooler. No other CPU will give you more DCS power right now and, as seen on those videos, is the only CPU that allows you to manipulate per core hyperthreating and a couple of tricks more. It does that at a cost (energy and heat), but if you can manage that, you will be at the top of the chain food. You can´t generate any heating problems just playing DCS. You will be fine. That´s only with synthetic benchmarks. I´ll recomend you a good Mobo (and PSU too) to power that CPU (with good power delivery like the Z490s Gigabyte ones for example)..... And a good thermal paste. And you will rock, Man!

That AIO will limit you a little, but just try it and let´s see. (It will depend on your room temperature ultimately).

Paired with a very good and beefy cooler (maybe a custom liquid one) it will be awsome. But the cooling thing is a necesity. Good PSU, Mobo, etc: needless to say It will be cool to know your differences between that 10900F and the 10900K. Just let us know.

Try to buy Gskill or HyperX modules that are easy to find with CL14 (at 3200 Mhz) and at good price. Or maybe 3600 Mhz with CL16 (Don´t double the prize on CL14 3600 Mhz modules because you will probably end up on 3200 with your system). Anyway there are people that assure that Intel won´t use that bump in memory speed inside their CPUs. Your testing will be of help for other people in the forum.

Surely you can put your own memory at 3200 in the bios. And see at what latency cost and test like that.

Why do you torture yourself like that? All kind of governments are trying to dump their currency and impoverishing their citizens. It´s not your fault. Hyperinflation is hard to escape. You need to form in wealth and the ways to evade from that. We need a global currency. And very urgent.

Remember: That money is not yours untill you close your position.

Unless you are struggling with VR, I´ll wait a little untill fall 2020 And if you can wait a llittle bit longer yet: end of 2021 (with a second hand 1080ti or similar you can wait playing on flat screen with your actual system). Many things will happen in those timeframes.

Ampere will include DLSS 3.0 and AMD will include one such effect too on its upcoming RDNA2 cards so: The feature will be there to everybody, like antialias, etc. It´s our only option for VR and dual 4K panels given the actual state of DCS. (And foveated rendering).

You can buy OEM licenses that cost very little. If you are having problems with that CPU maybe you are hitting thermal throttling because of poor cooling. Anyway: that low base core clock frequency won´t help you either. Get a full K processor (or KF, but not one without the K suffix). 10600K / 10700K / 10850K / 10900K.... Those ones are the real performers on gaming. Or maybe you are triggering some graphic option that hit your performance in a big way.

Yes: Gskill is what everybody is buying right now. (Mostly because performance-cost ratio): Perfect decision. You´re coming up, Man! And I´ve heard that 10700K use better soldered die than 10600K, (better heat disipation) so another winning decision there.

That´s right Xairacobra: you won´t notice the difference unless extreme overcloking. Some people even says Intel CPUs cheat you and only use the speed of the memory they manage inside their procesors anyway. You will be fine and very close to the top charts here, so fasten your seatbelt.

I think it´s a fair price considering you are going to use your 1080 GPU. You will be fine, if not with an indelible smile on your face. Most of the people use that setup with the memory at 3200 and CL14 as reece said. It will work effortless. If only we could get DCS running on a PS5 or next gen Xbox....
