Does anyone of you get this error lately? (see pic attached) I use Tars 1.1 with modified export script... Last nights training track gives an error, dammit... :helpsmilie:

Just tried to get a clanmate from old BF2 times to fly DCS A-10C... He was a real aircraft fan then, he would enter a plane and not get shot till the end of a round... I gave him all the links to videos, tutorials & download location... Two days later he just said to me: "Man, I really like flying planes but that what you show me has explosions like when you shoot someone in Space Invaders, with the pop and the weird flame... Sorry but I'm not interested...". I was just sad...

Great mission Deephouse!!! The first one I don't want to look in Tacview after flying, not to spoil the surprise... We flew it couple of times already, the poor downed dude gets caught a lot... Eventually we'll do it right sometime...

It's not a reflection... it is a graphics engine glitch or Catalyst glitch or both together... it dissapeared only in Catalyst 11.6... Vote in the Poll, please...

ATI Flashing White Boxes, how many of us have this "desease"? Just wanted to see how many users are affected...:lookaround: Please fix this issue... if we know it works fine in Catalyst 11.6 why doesn't someone reverse engeneer for the difference and cause of this anomaly? Cause it's still present in Catalyst 11.11 and I don't want to go back to 11.6 cause I play a bunch of other games that benefit from the new drivers... Thank you... :helpsmilie:

It would be nice if you mentioned it before the patch... now I have to replay a dozen training tracks in realtime to get the Tacview records of it & it's a little annoying... :doh:

ED advises to delete the "\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\" folder prior to a full install... You may, or may not have anomalies... who knows... ;)

Tried with a rollback to Tacview 1.0 and the script edit... all works!!! Wuhuuuu!!! I got a reply from Vyrtuoz, author of Tacview... he really is working on a fix... Thanks god it'll be fixed, all this crappy stuff going on with the last patch & no Tacview took away half the magic of my simming... EDIT: Tried the edit on the server script with Tacview 1.1, it also works so it must have been the file permissions after all, on my first try... Once again, TheMonk... you are the man!!! :thumbup:

Tried the edit... it doesn't work... the damn thing won't record... fullstop! Does it work for you on Tacview 1.0 with the 1.1.10 patch?

What utility do you use to edit .lua files? I just grabbed Notepad++, looks great... Will try your suggestion... Thx!!!

Last night the 4 of us finally got to annihilate all the mortar units and their evil minion friends in the second part of the mission... and then we anxiously awaited a distress call from FOB Vetka, expecting a full scale ride on the encampment (all sharp, rearmed & cocky)... but there was just this "Thank you for your support, you may depart..." message... :) So I guess that was it? The mission ends there... You definitely need to make a similar attack on the FOB as the one on mission start. One that would begin after cleaning the mortar groups... Every bullet would count then... A last stretch to differ the Elite from the average Joe pilot...

Same here... My wingman *NOB*Perica & me jumped in a pair of Kutaisi Hog slots on the 104th, the atmosphere was really fantastic... all the radio chatter (we just put a walkie-talkie plugin to TS3) was thrilling... we started-up our beasts, rolled out to the runway... and BAAM, the bitching server went down... We then just escaped back to our server and slapped the bitch out of FOB Vetka for that... :gun_smilie: Whatever the reasons/causes, this sim is far from "stable" when hosting a large wolfpack of Hogs comes to question... Not to mention this last "patch", 1.1.0.9 didn't crash for the last three months for our squad as did 1.1.10 in the last few days... :( And sadly, stallturn ping was 450-500 and 104th was 150+... that somehow leaves those servers a little out of reach for my squadron... What is the ping you other Hog pilots had on those servers yesterday?

Yes it can be done... Just copy the previously backed-up C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\MissionEditor\logbook.lua file and there magically re-emerge all your hard working flight hours, ranks & medals... :thumbup:

Repair time notice is nice... TAD map before alignment is nice... CBU is nice... Countermeasures sound gone sucks cause don't know if dropping em anymore?!?!?? We played FOB Vetka tonight and my wingman crashed to desktop, mine just nagged about low resources or something and offered me to close DCS.exe which i simply cancelled and landed afterwards, friend has 4GB ram i have 8GB so it must be a memory leak of some sort... A2A tone is somehow sucky faint... Server browser is slow now... Khm... Tacview recording broken... OMFG?!??!?! We'll se tomorrow if the Phoenix Fly-In goes smooth... EDIT: Phoenix Fly-in went smooth... till we reached the runway... :music_whistling:
