Why so much negativity? A Phantard Speaks.
Fangs Out replied to Aussie_Mantis's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
Say, do we know if the first variant we are getting has TISEO or not. I remember hearing that both have the Agile eagle Upgrade where one was a DSCG variant and the other was the DMAS. However, both DSCG phantoms (our first variant) and DMAS phantoms both had aircraft with and without TISEO. -
Also the Aim-4 IIRC had problems as well in Vietnam with reliability . But that was chalked up to the fact that the AIM-4 didn't have a proximity fuse

Would you consider making the E carrier capable IN GAME please?

Speaking about the Bridle, what differences does it carry compared to the launch bar era of Naval aviation we have in DCS? -
Any Cobra would be good but, id either like a AH-1F (Single engine Army Cobra) Or a Whiskey Cobra . An AH-1F would really add a Bluefor 80s attack Helo which could be an alternative to the Hind E A AH-1W would be really cool as it could use Sidearms and Sidewinders, along with TOWs and Hellfire's AH-1F AH-1W

Yea, Sorry about that . Should've generalized and said the F-4 Family
-
Which is weird, as the F-4E has a lot of cool stories. Bolo being one, along with Rimon 20. The only USAF Plane the Tomcat shot down. The father of PGMs and many more

Yea, as well as the fact a competent pilot can use the great TWR of the Phantom to his advantage.
-
Yea, Saw the thumbnail and knew it wasn't going to be good. Kinda sad the fact he hit most of the bad takes of the Phantom, Bad at dogfighting i could understand. But that just as you said, Misinformation

Yeah, RS is pretty good, kinda corny but in defense of it, it was made to be an Ace combat experience for DCS

Exactly, if we are going for non combat modules, I'd Pay for either, 1. either a C-130 module as you said. Or 2. an Ch-47 module. Both have Spec ops, SAR, Gunships, Transport, and are pretty cool in there own rights. As you mentioned, the C-130 has more missions is it could perform, Compass Call and Spooky being the coolest in my opinion. The Chinook on the other hand has a decent possibility for campaigns and missions, as the Chinook was used to transport troops, cargo , logging ,Disaster relief supplies. And in some circles, used to transport workers in Petroleum and logging Circle. To My knowledge , Anubis made a really good C-130 module and then was picked up by ED, so maybe they have a Herc Mod in the works +1

Bump as well.

Eh, to treat this OP seriously. It's due to ,1. most , if not all Stealth aircraft are classified. While the B-2A was developed in the 80s, the design and systems employed are on a need to know basis . 2. even if you could get SME information, the gameplay imo and others may say otherwise, would be pretty boring.
