  1. I have not received any additional e-mails from Amazon. Original conformation e-mail listed delivery dates of between Thursday, January 30, 2014 - Thursday, February 6, 2014.
  2. In today's world of electronics, all it takes is one radio signal and your missile will miss or is disabled, your radar shows you bogus info and etc. Meaning, you have to make sure that your missile, radar system, aircraft electronics comes from a trusted source. So, be careful who you buy your military electronics from. There are many stories out there, but, a story of Sadam Husein printers in his AA missile vehicles, that is a funny story. It was on a discovery channel few years ago. Well, the printers had little radio transmitter in them, unknown to Sadam. And allies knew, very precisely, location of the AA batteries.
  3. Don't sell your X-52 pro. Keep it for spare. I have two X-52 pro's, one is spare.
  4. Yes, it was $199, + shipping $8.64 + tax $17.21, total $225.84.
  5. Well, I placed my order on Wednesday and right after I placed my order, I received a conformation e-mail with estimated delivery date. I've just checked Amazon, and you are right, Rhino is not available now.
  6. I've just pre-ordered the X55 through Amazon, and take a look at the estimated delivery date: Estimated delivery: Jan. 30, 2014 - Feb. 6, 2014 :smilewink:
  7. I wonder why would Saitek NOT have the dual trigger. It is regular feature on X-52 and X-52 PRO. If enough of us ask them this question, Saitek may upgrade the trigger by the time Rhino is released.
  8. The pre-order e-mail I received says that preorder is available from Newegg and Amazon. However, X-55 is nowhere to be seen over there. I guess Saitek jumped the gun and is not ready for preorder yet.
  9. I've just tried to pre-order. At the end of a process I am getting a following message: "We are unable to place this order because one or more items in your order is not available in sufficient quantity. Please go back and reduce your order." Am I already too late to pre-order? Or Mad Catz did not enter Rhinо in the pre-order system yet?
  10. Of course they do. Russian tanks are used to pull cars out of snow storms. Chinese army was among the first on the ground during that big earthquake few years ago. Yugoslavian military personnel was always on hand during natural disasters. Anybody sane understands that military can be and it is used for humanitarian missions if needed and if it is available. It is the same with US military, Russian military, Chinese military, Serbian military and any other military in the world. However, humanitarian missions is not the purpose for the military armed force. If there is a humanitarian mission to accomplish and combat mission at the same time, guess which way military will go, and that's how it suppose to be. It was a context that was problematic, that this issue of "military force humanism" was mentioned here. And I exposed it. And I got few bad reps for exposing it. I understand why people do not understand some issues, therefore those bad raps do not hurt as much.
  11. All right. You convinced me. The purpose of the US Carriers and carrier battle groups is to provide humanitarian missions. BTW, I offer my apology to you if I called you delusional, publicly, here on this forum.
  12. Well, the questions were not directed to you. I know that you know the answers. The questions were directed to Nola. Also, the site does not answer all the questions I asked Nola. For example, the site does not answer the question about the meaning of the "AE" in the "RBB-AE". Also the site does not mention R-77 at all. I posted the link for Nola's reference. Come on, Alfa! :smilewink:
  13. Do you know what RVV stands for? Did you know that the AMRAAM is a RVV type of missile? What is the difference between RVV-AE and RVV-SD? And what is the difference between RVV-AE and R-77? Here's the link: http://eng.ktrv.ru/
  14. I agree. However, this picture is not good enough to satisfy Nola's and some other forum members standard. Because not all of the missiles are fully combat operational type. And indeed, it is just F-18, not F-15. To satisfy Nola's standard we need a picture of the F-15C MSIP II with 8 fully combat ready AMRAAM's. And that's not all ...
  15. These are inert missiles. There's plenty of pictures of Russian aircraft carrying inert/mockup R-77's.
  16. No, it wasn't me who brought this discussion up. I simply responded to argument with a counterargument. Readers will decide which argument they want to base their beliefs on.
  17. Sure, I agree with late Christopher. I did not say that asking for evidence is insane. I implied that asking for the TYPE of evidence you insist is insane. By the way, I got in touch with my contacts at Russian Air force high command. They will evaluate your request and let us all know, here on this forum, if they find it necessary, the number and location of all R-77's in stock. In the mean time, pictures of Russian aircraft launching R-77`s and number of R-77's sold to international markets are evidence good enough for me, that Russia stocks, some small number of R-77's.
  18. Sure, and, where is the picture? :smartass: He, he, he ... :smilewink: This post is priceless. So valuable that I took a screenshot of it.
  19. Indeed we are talking about R-77 missile. Show me the F-15 with 8 AMRAAMS. You can not. Well, then F-15 can not carry 8 AMRAAM's, right?. Same with R-77. There is no picture to make you happy, thus Russia does not have R-77's. Insane .... You are asking for a picture that we don not have access to. And picture of F-15 carrying 8 AMRAAM's does not exist, not that we have access to. Pictures of live R-27's and R-73's are rare as well. How do you know that those R-33's are live, fully functional or a practice missile, with all electronics but no explosive charge? By the way, can you post hare a picture of Su-27S with live, fully functional R-27 and R-73? Thanks.
  20. Show me the picture of F-15 carrying 8 AMRAAM's. Surely that can't be hard, can it now? BTW, why would F-15 ever carry 8 AMRAAM's? And why would the Russian Air Force ever carry live R-77's around?
