I pledge $100 to Leatherneck Simulations team. I highly appreciate that the Leatherneck Simulations will fulfill Beczl promises. And for that, I say they should be rewarded. After I receive my MiG-21BIS copies, I'll find a way to spend $100 to buy couple of extra copies and give them as gifts to my friends.

You are right, I don't know what happened. $15144 US dollars is missing and we know the name and address of a person who took the money. What do you suggest?

Anybody knows a lawyer in Hungary for a class action suit against Beczl? I don't need my money, I want that money to be transferred to the new team. So, if the lawyer takes half of it, the new team could at least get something.

Every Airforce in the world has the same responsibilities. The difference is that our military/industrial complex is so powerful, it makes us believe that we have some divine responsibilities, for which, of course we have to spend billions of dollars buying stuff that they sell. Worst of all, we don't even have money to buy stuff, so we print the money. F-35 is fine airplane and i like it. But I sure can not believe that we are going to spend money that we don't have to buy 2400 of it!? Yet, just few months ago, just before Christmas, we cut unemployment benefits to millions of unemployed workers ... Talking about A-10, it is time to retire that thing. Read the A-10's over Kosovo and you will see why.

What a waste of time ... T-50 is under development. Anything on it can change. You can not say that the T-50 is "grounded" at this time in its development. You can say that it is not flying because it is waiting for the things to be installed, modify, build ... It would be stupid to assume that the program runs trouble free. But .... what a waste of time ...

There is only two ... So if id did not fly then what? What is the evidence about? That the prototype has different stabs? I have at least 12 (and a half) sources who hasn't confirmed it either. :music_whistling:

Barksdale use to be very god air show. Great static display, F 22, F-117, Blue Angels, Thunderbirds ... you name it. Last year air show was canceled due to sequester budget cuts. This year, I don't know if it will happen. It is well worth when the technology saves your house from incoming bomber. And with the steering system R-77 has and now the AESA seeker head, I think, this new missile should be named a "freedom" missile. Hopefully, they are working on SAM version as well.

My Rhino will be bolted to the stand, so the light weight is not an issue with me.

I think it is well worth maintaining a small number of B-1B's. For many reasons, engineering, military, strategic, you name it. But, it has to be within our budget of what we can afford. We must not print money to pay military. Printing money is one of the major reasons of why Soviet Union collapsed. And Yugoslavia, as well.

Where does the money to support these exotic programs comes from? Well, there is no money, we print money. Thus, between printing money and living within your means ... Take your pick.

It probably is more expensive per unit. But the overall cost certainly, goes down.

I've never said that we should STOP flying them. I said that the flying should be reduced on remaining airplanes to prolong their life.

What is a B-1 mission now? Although, I would not retire the all B-1B's. I would keep up to 10 airplanes. And would not fly them much either, instead use simulators for training. Talking about money, we just cut unemployment benefits to hundreds of thousands of workers. I can not see us paying for expensive military programs and cutting unemployment benefits.

It does look weird. However, I will not prejudge functionality of the hat switch before I actually put my hands on it. The saying goes: "If it is stupid, but it works, then it is not stupid!"
