  1. I don't know if PAK FA has air refueling capability?
  2. Many very big companies, such as Microsoft, Saitek and Logitech, gave up on Forced Feedback sticks. I don't know what you have in mind, but FFB is not easy to do.
  3. Ka-50 is a weapon system of the past. It is not even manufactured any more. MiG-29S is also vary old system and I wish, one day, we will get a DCS quality (Ka-50 quality) MiG-29S. Also, if i recall correctly, just like A-10C with US National Guard, ED had contract with Russian military to develop Ka-50 for a PC simulator.
  4. $30 per instrument kit, I would definitely buy a bunch of them.
  5. WOW, almost too good to be true! :) I am eagerly waiting to see working models of those gauges.
  6. hegykc, Your work looks very promising. I wonder, do you have a solution for gauges with two needles on one axis? Such as Engine RPM gauges on Russian airplanes.
  7. I thought that Red missiles are fully functional, without explosive charge. White ones with no stripes are dummies. And white one with stripes are electronically functional but without a functioning motor and explosive charge.
  8. That is a very peculiar looking radome on those red missiles? I wonder why? :)
  9. I don't remember that I have ever been aware of the total number of AMRAAM's fired. That's why I asked for the source of information about firing AMRAAM's over Yugoslavia. SAM = Stealth STOP!
  10. There is no GCI in game to tell you the distance to target in heavy ECM environment. Thus, although ER has more range (and is faster?) then AMRAAM, it can not be used properly in a game. What do you mean that in real life you can not take the first shot? SAM = Stealth STOP!
  11. Well, those real ones are good to be put on a shelf as a souvenirs. I am talking about gauges that can be interfaced with DCS series Russian aircraft.
  12. Well, we had a MiG-29 pilot testifying avoiding several missiles. He did not mention which missiles were launched at him. And Yugoslavian Airforce was actively flying in the beginning of the conflict. In the first few days, KLA was defeated and there was no much need for Yugoslavian air force to fly much any more. Obviously it could not fly against numerically stronger NATO air force. By pure numbers, NATO had an advantage of 8 to 1 over Yugoslavia. Thus, I assume a lots of AA missiles were fired. I just wonder how many were AMRAAM's. SAM = Stealth STOP!
  13. Serbian Air Force in 1999 was in bad shape, with very little training and very poorly equipped. MiG-29' flew with SPO-15 not working. Thus if AMRAAM's performed so poorly in 1999, that really puts a serious question mark on the use of ARH missiles.
  14. This is very interesting info. Where did you find it?
  15. Heloooo, programers!!!! Can somebody help in here? :helpsmilie:
  16. This is incredible work indeed. I look forward to seeing Russian aircraft gauges.
  17. Well, take a look at your signature. It say's, Patriot (SAM) is just a speed bump. :) SAM = Stealth STOP!
  18. And, the only reason is that Russia can defend itself. Russia has what no other country on a planet of earth will ever have. That is a lots of LAND!. I flew through Russia and over Russia. When you spend 10 hours in a large passenger jet, and you are still in the same country, only then you realize how big that country is. Now, add Arctic to all that land ... SAM = Stealth STOP!
  19. Very well. We might have DCS Gazzele then. I look forward to flying it.
  20. You need to start thinking about this as a pay add on. Just like Beczl, MiG-21. I would pay for a DCS quality Gazelle flyable helicopter. Remember, your work will be way more appreciated if you create a product that people are willing to spend their money on. Since the scope of work is huge, you need to look for some help. I am sure there are real life Gazelle pilots here, who might be willing to help you.
  21. I don't fly F-15, thus I don't know details. However, the method of calculating Time to Impact has to include the movement of the target. Thus, radar must be painting the target all the time and the weapons computer needs to know location and speed of both, missile and target? Right?
  22. Well, if there is "real" tracking, i wonder how does "unreal" tracking works?
  23. Kamov offers it, there is a button to launch it, there is a button to jettison it, Ka-50 does not need any additional sensors or systems to be able to launch R-73 (or Igla), yet, we don't have it in the game!! Russian military doesn't use it because there is no need for it. But it is available i real life.
