  1. All liveries made for the Razbam F-15E are compatible with my F-15EX mod, though most of them will need a small LUA edit to show the nozzle petals.
  2. Sorry to hear that, an F-103 would be a very interesting addition...
  3. As part of the F-15EX update I'm re-working the inner wing rails to prevent asymmetric loadouts.
  4. Hey guys, I'm re-organizing my modding workflow, so I just started a new thread for everything I'm currently working on (yes that includes the F-15EX, it's still top priority): You can find all future F-15EX updates as well as related projects I'm working on there. I won't be using this thread anymore. Thank you for all the support!
  5. Hey everyone, This will be my new thread for all of my DCS mods. You'll find download links to all of them here as soon as they are available, as well as on my website: https://sites.google.com/view/spinossimulationsite/home F-15EX Eagle II: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3324876/ (Old version, update coming soon!) F-16 "Block 80" Viper: IN DEVELOPMENT More details to follow!
  6. What @Nightstorm is asking is for is for ED to include those few lines of code by default - in the vanilla client. Would that somehow interfere with how integrity check works? Perhaps it could be added in a different LUA file that could be encrypted to prevent end-user modification?
  7. Agreed. This issue has been a thorn in the collective side of the modding community ever since the release of FC2024. I'm not for bringing back SFM or anything, but just allowing FC-based mods to work without having to first spawn in the plane that they are based on would be greatly appreciated.
  8. The only issue with this is that it's an unofficial mod, unless Nomad decides to take it the official route (and that assumes ED would approve it). I'll still fly it for sure though.
  9. FJ-3 would not be much fun to dogfight with honestly. It's the Sabre that couldn't shoot straight (the gun fit was angled such that it would hit what the gunsight was pointing at only in a 3G turn). Have fun aiming! The FJ-3 wasn't even around for that long. Personally I'd rather have either an FJ-4B or an F9F, or maybe a Banshee.
  10. This is complete nonsense. Even if you limit the F-35 to the existing AIM-120C that we currently have, it'll still be an extremely powerful platform in the BVR arena. Your missiles are the same as every other AMRAAM-slinging plane in DCS, but you can afford to push in closer than anyone else because most of the current radars in DCS will have a hard time tracking you outside of something like 20 miles. Not adding the AIM-120D would just make the F-35's advantage in BVR less ridiculous, but it would still have one. And that assumes that ED doesn't model the LPI frequency hopping capability of the F-35's radar. If they did, then your radar emissions wouldn't even necessarily show up reliably on most of the RWR systems currently modeled in DCS - so locating an F-35 would be even more difficult.
  11. I doubt seriously it'll have the APG-70, only a handful of F-15Cs got that radar. Almost all of them got the APG-63, in keeping with the "not a pound for air to ground" philosophy that the Eagle was originally built with. IAF F-15Cs have carried bombs before, but the F-15C is generally not an air-to-ground platform. Theoretically it could buddy lase for LGBs dropped from other aircraft (in recent years that is, since some of them apparently received the capability to carry the Sniper pod), but that's not the version we're getting. Would be cool if it was, since those F-15s have the old RWR screen replaced with a big MFD, but if my information is correct then we're getting a 2005-2007ish F-15C with JHMCS, AIM-9X, datalink, and the APG-63v1 radar.
  12. Based on my information it should be able to hit things at low altitude. One of its intended targets was cruise missiles (although ideally it would be used to shoot down the bombers carrying said cruise missiles before they could launch).
  13. Well I guess we got our answer on this. The FF F-15C is coming sometime in the next year or so.
  14. You forgot the radar, the APG-71 in the F-14D was much much better than the AWG-9 in the earlier Tomcat variants. My understanding is that it paired the digital processing modules of the APG-70 with the antenna of the AWG-9, so if we ever had an F-14D in DCS its radar would perform more like the one in the F-15E, but with greater range (although lacking the ground attack modes obviously). My question is, is this a free upgrade, a paid upgrade, or a whole new module? I'd pay full price for an F-14D module, but since what we've been shown here is obviously an F-14B (U) I really hope it comes either free or as a discounted paid upgrade to all owners of the current F-14A/B module. Sort of like what ED did with the remastered F-5E. As a front-seat only Tomcat guy, I'd have a hard time justifying paying full fidelity module price tag just for a big screen in the rear seat and maybe a HUD upgrade (even though it is my favorite aircraft of all time). If the B(U) were a separate module and I didn't own the current F-14 module, then I'd probably just get the B(U), but since I already own the F-14A/B an entirely new module with the associated FF price tag would be a hard sell.
  15. My main point here is an avionics and weapons upgrade for the F-15C. Specifically an FC-simplified version of JHMCS coupled with AIM-9X. Improved visual quality would be nice, but avionics are the main thing in my book. Of course a full-fidelity F-15C would also presumably have JHMCS and AIM-9X, but I imagine an avionics and weapon table upgrade for the existing F-15C would be significantly easier.
  16. From an avionics standpoint it would help, since the F-15EX currently doesn't have JHMCS (because the current F-15C avionics suite in DCS doesn't have it).
  17. Also the F-15E doesn't have AIM-9X or JHMCS.
  18. From an avionics perspective I could see ED doing it as a paid upgrade. Heck, even a separate aircraft.
  19. With the proliferation of high-fidelity aircraft that offer datalink and HMDs, the '90s version of the F-15C that we currently have feels a bit lacking. To be clear, I'm not asking for a high-fidelity F-15C, but more of an upgraded version of the current FC2024 F-15C. An improved external model like what the F-5E got would be welcome, and I'd really like to have an FC-friendly version of JHMCS and datalink, along with AIM-9X - essentially an F-15C from around 2005-2010 with the Flaming Cliffs level of implementation that we currently have. I'd be more than happy to pay $10-$15 for such an upgrade.
  20. I could look into that, but honestly it's not a priority at the moment.
  21. Thanks, I'll look into that. At some point in the future I will probably release a small update to correct that as well as some other issues that have cropped up.
  22. Now that the F-15EX release is taken care of, I'll try to pay some more attention to this. I'm not sure that I can easily fix the GDW missiles, but what I can do is fix the HRM and improve the range of the 152C. I may also include that clipped-wing B variant, not sure yet.
  23. Not bad. As for the AIM-152C, should I add an option to carry it on twin rails?
  24. It's hypersonic! And with improved textures! Now to make it compatible with twin launchers
  25. AIM-152C just passed separation tests! The model and texture still needs some work, but it's off to a reasonably good start.
