@IvanK The manual indicates mil settings greater than 199. I assume that when it states e.g. 850mils, the setting to be used in the sight is 85. Is this correct? P.S. I tried it yesterday on a dive bomb with Mk-81 and after releasing at approximately the correct indicated angle, altitude ad speed, it looked about right...

Both are equally easy to fly bad and equally diffult to fly effectively.

When in a server with logistics options, when asking for supply, a message pops up saying that I need to open the cargo doors. No key combination works but it may be something server related, who knows. I'll try single player to check the keys... Working in SP so I must be doing something wrong in the server (e.g. accepting a specific mission available through the radio menu before loading supplies)...

Hi there! New to the Huey and I've come across some server with cargo and troops logistics. Question: how do you open cargo doors to allow internal cargo (if at all possible)? It seems LCTRL+LALT+C is not working... Thank you!

Any update on this? The CENTRAL POSITION trim issue (the offset is added) is still here...

Definately! It is a huge handicap for a training module...

Same here. It's a pity...the ADI is a fundamental flight instrument...

Hi all! Sorry for a little step back from the aiming issue but how do you enable TrackIR for looking around in the vehicle while driving in the first place? Thank you!

Hi all! In the last patch: AI Aircraft. Adjusted KC135 to maintain 25 degrees angle of bank for every turn I set a KC-135MPRS in a CIRCLE ORBIT and: - it keeps more than 45 degrees and maintains altitude when not called up as a tanker - when called up as a tanker, it reduces angle of bank to 25 degrees and it slowly loses altitude (in mission created prepatch and played after the patch, the rate altitude loss is pretty high) Test mission attached. Thank you @Bigskill! I thought posting here was enough...

Hi all! When flying with a 339 with an IFR curtain, the front pilot always see the curtain in the stowed position (down on the canopy rail) even though the pilot in the back closes it. Thank you!

@6S.Duke How much of the information in this manual is applicable to the DCS module?

Hi all! Yesterday we had a landing gear desync after a go around following a hard landing. When coming around to land again: - Front pilot: three green (landing gear normally lowered) and no handling issue in the air - Instructor: two green (left main landing gear wheel light off) and vibrations in the air During the landing roll, if the control was on the pilot, the aircraft behaved as if the landing gear was normally lowered (three green) but once the control was taken by the instructor (by pressing "J"), the aircraft cartwheeled as if the left landing gear wheel was not down (two green). Giving the control back to the pilot magically straightened up the aircraft as if the landing gear was normally lowered. I can provide you later with some pictures if needed.

Hi all! would it be possible to add a value in HPa/mbar for the QNH in the briefing text? A few modules have this setting in their altimeter (e.g. MB-339)... Currently, HPa(mbar) is indicated in the QFE but not in the QNH. Thank you!

Yeah, kind of. The windscreen is blurred by raindrops and you do not have a clear view through it. It blows heated low pressure air on the windscreen to keep it clear from raindrops.
-
I hope so. Currently, landing on a carrier with rain on your windscreen is a bit "challenging"...
-
Thank you! So, currently we have a NICE-weather fighter!

Hi all! Just wondering if the RAIN switch on the right panel is working. It doesn't look so... Can anybody confirm? Thank you!

Good question! I believe that the NAVAIR document has more operational weight than the CNATRA instructional document and that in case of contradiction, the former prevails. The latter does not even reference the NAVAIR procedure in its text...

Actually, NAVAIR 00-80T-105 CV NATOPS Manual states: 6.4 Case III This approach shall be utilized whenever existing weather at the ship is below Case II minimums and during all flight operations conducted between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise except as modified by the OTC or carrier commanding officer.

reported Carrier lights not properly working in MT

I agree with that. So I assume that in CASE III it is working (haven't tried it yet). -

I tried a CASE I and the light is not showing; as the OP mentioned, it used to in ST. It has not been fixed... CASE I and II is still manageable (unless the BRC is towards the sun and the deck markings are washed out) but a CASE III is another story. Unless at night the light is switched on by AI (which I have to test). -
Hi all! Unless I missed something in the option menu, it would be nice to have some keys (e.g. "1", "2", etc.) assigned to each airboss panels/screen in order to skip from one to the other more quickly; when using these "dedicated views", the Alt+C should be automatically implemented. Presently, moving around with ASDW and pressing Alt+C is a bit "clumsy" (for lack of a better term).

This! They should stop announcing dates and release the patch when it's ready along with the patch notes. Really, nobody would bother. It is more "damaging" to announce a date and not being able to meet it (and this time for three times!) than to simply say nothing and let people wait without expectations. Because once you build an expectation, people will keep you accountable for it.
