Got it working finally. Now I just need to tweak some of the settings. It was a Lua adjustment.

Thanks for the info Bazz, but I'm doing exactly that and I get no response. When I change back to default, I get minor feedback but it works. Going to try a fresh install of Simapp pro and go from there.

I read in the Wingwing Knowledge Base that the rumble feature on the F16EX, at this time does not work in multi-player. Last night I decided to try it out while testing out something else on my server. Jumped in the F18 and sure enough, it was working. Now today it's not. Updated to latest simapp pro. Anyone successfully using it Multi-player?

I would much rather assign my own with in dcs then use someone else's profile. We all have different preferences and I think that's why most do their own. It's not complicated either. And using simapp pro to customize some controls is pretty straight forward. I'm now looking for a buttons controller to assign keyboard/radio menu to that is compact and can add to my pit.

I use the parking brake toggle to pull out the lever and one of the rotary's to turn it.

After you comment out the lines in the export Lua, make it read only. That will keep simappro from writing to it again when you open the simappro program to do adjustments.

And after deleting, change the export lua to "read only".

What sounds are you looking at replacing?

Good bonus points info. My Orion 2 must have come pre tuned I didn't have any of the issues Paschon's had and still it's performing smooth. I wonder if some slipped through quality control check. It's possible, with the rush to get these out to customers, the unavoidable delays and all. All in all I'm very happy with the end product.

I had same thing, but still got the 4 boxes on time. Correction, 1 came the day after.

In your mobo bios, try to enable erp under power settings. If you use wol for your led lighting, that will no longer work, depending on your mobo.

Until they work out the issues with SimAppPro, I wouldn't even consider any of this. 40 - 60 fps hit is ridiculous. And that's just with the F16EX shaker and the A/G, A/A synced lights on the Throttle. But sure looks good!

Good solution. I use UCR with vjoy and it works perfectly. I only use simapppro for calibrating.

Yeh, wish you could re assign the status light to indicate for instance bingo fuel, then I wouldn't mind it so much. As for the plastic base, not cheap at all, lighter maybe but I can't foresee any issues with the base being plastic.

My bad, I use the Panel Lights L/R for CW/CCW and the Park Toggle for Stow Pull. Really should use the push button on the Pane Lights but still have that mapped to Taxi Light. Still a work in progress for what works best for me, but getting there. SO far the Hornet and the Apache.

There's a toggle top of the Orion 2 base for "Park/Off" that I use.

There is a holiday there also. Definitely check your tracking numbers. Probably 3 boxes for the F16 Throttle. I got 3 boxes one day and received the 4th one the next day.

I have the F18 Throttle and getting the calibration right took me a few tries. Mine came to 75 for the F18. Where are you having issues? -
I couldn't get them to work. Still get the flickering of the spring loaded toggles. Ended up assigning HDG by using the push button on the HDG for moving left and the CRS for moving right. I only use the CRS for carrier landings so set that by entering the BRC.

Orion HOTAS F-18 and SimAppPro Performance Drain

I'll also add I get a huge performance hit, and no VR here, just Track IR. So much for a rumble feature and synchronized lighting. I'm usually around 120 fps and it will drop on deck to 29 fps while doing a startup. The above works fine for me though. Don't really need a vibrator in my hand while flying
