missing info Very low FPS in SC vicinity after recent patch.
CaptHawk replied to Amarok_73's topic in Bugs and Problems
Same issue. Jump on the Forrestal though and no FPS drop. And yes, it's the chilled deck crew lolly gagging around the deck. -
correct as is Server with NO password that actually require a password ?
CaptHawk replied to Swiso's topic in Multiplayer Bugs
You're comparing the multiplayer server screen to the in game client selection screen. While the server might not have a password to join, once you join, you'll need a password to enter any redfor client slots. -
Think the F-15 Release is/will have an Impact
CaptHawk replied to Czechnology's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Either way, I'll get both because I love both Aircraft for much of the same reasons posted above by Assuie_Mantis -
No need to anymore. I run the software now(use it for the rumble feature on the F16EX) and there is no noticeable difference in fps. At least with my setup...

That's ridiculous to assume every customer has the skills and tools to do the soldering required to fix this. It really should be exchanged for a new working unit.

Thank you soo much for all the work you guys put into this. It has been a great year and I've learned so much thanks to the help of the moose community.

I use to think the shake kit was kinda of gimmicky but now use it all the time with the F18, F16. It gives me feedback for instance when I drop tanks, or ordnance, landing gear, etc. Limited profiles and just haven't taken the time to build more. I would definitely get the cam spring damping extension kit though, especially if you fly Helicopters. And with the dual throttles you can designate one for throttle, one for collective.

If you updated to 2.8, AI Units Liveries not loading in multiplayer through dedicated server https://forum.dcs.world/forums/topic/311384-ai-units-liveries-not-loading-in-multiplayer-through-dedicated-server/

Runs fine in win 11 here also.

Fix was posted today, didn't work?

4) DCS log file shows every asset error, corrupt damage model. Yes every asset...
-
Same here. Sifting through it to check errors for scripts is tough when every asset reports error, corrupt damage model.

a track would help ACLS - Unable to ride hand-free.

The AirBoss wants to see you after you complete shutdown... -
Interesting. Hope they fix that. I was going to order o e soon On another note, when I'm entering mgrs coordinates it's usually 6 digits for the grid.

Well that's one comment they are going to regret. Good luck with it. Glad mine works fine.

Orion 1 base disassembly / connector cable swap help
CaptHawk replied to Colonel Akir Nakesh's topic in Winwing
Yeh! I think I would too! Basically they told you to force the connector out because it was hot glued or hard to get to? Anyways, glad you got it all worked out. I have the Orion 1 base also but now looking at the 2 for the dampening kit. Hopefully comes with the cable pre installed so I just have to plug into the F16EX. -
So far it's working well after 3 hrs of flight time! Thx again @prestonflying.

Orion 1 base disassembly / connector cable swap help
CaptHawk replied to Colonel Akir Nakesh's topic in Winwing
Have you taken the base apart? Should be straight forward. Unplug old cable, plug new one in, put base back together, attach F16EX. At least I hope it is! -
Don't know if it would help you, but in my case, I changed up the export/network lua's in the saved games/DCS open beta/Scripts/wwt as per the SimappPro FPS drop thread. That's when it stop working for me. I ended up doing the same in Program Files (x86)\SimAppPro\resources\app.asar.unpacked\Events\wwt and now it's back working.

I know what you mean as per wallet...got the F18 Orion 2 Throttle/F16EX with Orion 1 base in May 2022, then they came out with the Orion 2 base and I really want that one now with the spring/cam kit. Not going to happen this year. Then again....
-
I'm sure you will, it's just allowing you to have different spring tensions if you feel you need it. Also, if you fly Helicopters, you can use the cam set so that your stick stays in the position you move it to. Basically more options...
-
Yeh, do it all in dcs. Did you get the spring/cam kit? Orion 2 base has lots of options.
