First, we need to define which version of MiG-31 it is (in 1.2.1) I think it's a B or a BM version but also should be great to see (from the 3D artist) an M version which can carry 6*R-37s and R-77s - but yes we can put on R-37s also if we "reactivate" it in some lua files. BTW: do you know who is the 3D artist ? (i guess GK) and which external fuel tank used for MiG-31s ? 2000kg, 3000kg ?
  10. TY, but it's an old reconverted CMD model. Im unsure but if this CMD model is property of UBI, then ED will never ever do any update on CMD models. They will come up earlier with new EDM models (hopefully within FC3) than update oldies. Yep, corrections by me: this model (version) has removed pylons for VFAT. Corrected: half-downed flap animation, corrected non-self-illuminated landing light textures. Added dozen new useful connectors. Still WIP: correcting also non-self-illuminated night-cockpit lights and afterburner lights (textures), added/using (built-in) engine intake and nozzle covers before/after engine start/shutdown by player, adding/correcting fully-opened idle nozzles (without AB flames), adding planar with texture (plane geometry) for nose wheel luminare, 40+ ingame-skins, etc.

  12. As we got the Hornet and Foxhound with 1.2.1 - silently and suddenly ;) - perhaps we will get some new models with FC3 also - yes, hoping Fulcrum, Flanker, Viper, Tomcat :thumbup: or...
  13. This is probably missile rotation FiX or position problem in MiG-31.lua (im not sure coz i still downloading), but im pretty sure i will fix it under few minutes. Does not seem a serious bug.

  17. Agreed :thumbup: Otherwise, his raindrop effect was fairly nice, he used a static (was strange) and a moving effect (seems snowing), - but i dont understand why he did not write:..."and may not represents the final product" or "this video has been edited with visual effects" - it's not shame

  19. Yep, its kinda after effect: No cumulus clouds (A-10 take off) therefore: no rain What we see: high alt cirrus/cirrocumulus textures
  20. You can use exactly the same lua script in DCSW what we used in FC2 (for MiG-21 engine smoke also) That was an invisible (no model) smokewinder positioned into nozzle. Was a recoloured to gray and more transparent smoke by Alphachannel in Drawinfo.lua The problem was (...is in DCSW also): smoke was too long and intensity was constant. As you write in topic earlier (evaporation time, intensity and smoke lenght/diameter needs to control by RPM) however lenght and diameter is editable in Drawinfo.lua also by dx and dy (im not sure coz i forget how we really did in FC2 few years ago :doh: :D )
