  1. I dont think so, plz check F-15C/E models... moreover our 3GO-Su-27 model also use and work with Billboard-NAV-Lights
  2. What was your problem with BillboardNode-Plane-Lights ComabtAce ? (on Su-30 too) Why did you choose the 3*2 fix planes "old-style-starry" NAV lights ? As you see there are problem in the inner corner also, where plane cut other plane. http://forum.lockon.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=74547&d=1354682609
  3. Sounds good...i will try it :) Thanks...but... 403 - Forbidden :( another link for download ? is it the same ?
  4. Yes, iv noticed @ first time, but you know this feature will good for Su-35 and Su-37 and not for Su-30 ;) (so i if i were you i should fix/immobilize nozzles ...MKI is OK) I think Su-30MKI, Su-35, Su-37 will need new aircraft "slots"
  5. http://combatace.com/portal/ Thanks again Dave If you need more images... Previous screenshots: http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=1613811&postcount=221 http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=1612399&postcount=214 http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=1607962&postcount=171 http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=1605377#post1605377 http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=1602443#post1602443
  6. Thank You Dave, Your welcome Folks and Cheers :) ...one more: and Have a Pleasant Santa Claus Day! :D :xmas:
  7. If he uploaded, we will need to wait few hours, maybe a day i think :) edited: RDY: :D http://www.lockonfiles.com/index.php/files/file/2398-fc3-combataces-su-30-model/ Thank You CombatAce
  8. Reaper26 wrote he has never seen an F-15E with inboard AMRAAMs. That's why i posted two images. What i wrote larger missile on outboard pylons are more common than opposite, however (there are exceptions ^) all four wing (side) pylons able to carry AIM-9s and 120s. These (side) pylons are rails, so the missile leaves this rail horizontally when ignited - sliding/accelerating forward on the rail, so wont hit EFTs or bombs when launched. Under-fuselage missile pylons (4, 5 & 7, 8 ) are ejectors: before ignition ejector arms (actually these are a forward piston with half-ring and an aft ejector piston - for each missile) push/shove outwardly and downwardly the missile (not only let fall/unleash)
  9. This is false ^ F-15s able to carry 2 Sidewinders or 2 AMRAAMs (or mixed) on each wing pylons. We are talking about mixed configuration now: I think usually ground crew put on the heavier/larger missile onto outboard pilons (if inner used too) coz it is easier to access/approach the pilon by hands or by lifters (especially if EFT is already on/hung) I think pilots also prefer this "larger & heavier @ ouboards" because with the first missile launch (probably a BVR launch) the roll inertia decreases in a bigger measure than a shoot from an inboard pylon...what is more significant if AIM-120 carried on wingtips of F-16 If the first firing (wtih higher chance) will be a sidewinder launch (visual target ID) then i think heavier/larger missile will be carried on the inboard pylons. If only 1 missile carried per wing, 99% that both ground crew and pilot choose ouboard pylon for AIM-9 and for AIM-120 also. ...but if you need a more precise answer then you should ask Pilotasso or Cali i guess. 10. Hehe, zoom on the EOS-Ball. There is a face :D
  11. Great, TY  Looking forward to watch this Bird ^ and Your Team on VFAT :)
  12. Good Job Kirill :thumbup::joystick::pilotfly:
  13. Nice  Is it Zei's new/updated model ?
  14. Oh, come on Folks, why don't you believe me ? :D As i stated earlier many times: connectors are KEYS ! VERY IMPORTANT ! Of course, names of connectors also: I checked and edited in 2 minutes only...Combatace used wrong connector names unfortunately. Lowercase, capital letter/upper case are also important, especially with these weapon/pylon connectors. So wrong connector names were: pylon1, pylon2 ...pylon-6, pylon-7, ...pylon11, pylon12 Correct names start with upper case: Pylon1...etc...Pylon6...to...Pylon12 ;) I did not deal with the textures now, but the wing folding with "glued" missiles works perfectly :smilewink:
  15. yes, unfortunately im too busy nowadays but making nice lights are very complex works, not only smaller/larger textures but smaller/larger light-planes in LOD files or in the "builtin" LODs, of course (to your PM diveplane) you need to use self illuminated textures...those will not dark at night...will keep self-light just @ daytime i remember in Beta A-10C we had some models which used very light NAV lights and were visible from long distances...(more precisely: from a short distance was the same like with present version, but from a distance NAV light spots were not smaller) NAV light planes was huge...so aircraft was only a small dot in the far away (4000 meters), but NAV lights was same sized on screen, same as when you watched the model from 20 meters... with this mod the negative side effect: Nav light spots will disappear quickly if you moving away from the aircraft by your camera IRL @ night, lights are visible from a very long distance too, maybe only Formation lights not
  16. Yes, this a weapon.dll restriction: you can use all ARMs with ETS and ECM pods and only with Su-25T, of course you can use Su-25T cockpit for F-16s but then you lose the Radar-A2A capability. I can remember in (1st) LOMAC we did not need the ETS aiming box, we were able to choose targets (targets with working radar) by TAB key for all cockpit.
  17. Check your Su-33.LOM model with MV...your model have 21 connectors...(small purple cubes)...you need to create connectors and attach to wingtips...then missiles and ECM pods will travel with wingtips, otherwise wont (if you create ONLY - from model center coordinates - without assign&create connectors on/at wingtips) ...for navlights ? I think it should be 3 planes if the planes are dual-sided, otherwise 6 planes ---> "Old style" Starry Only one plane for (rotating- always faced toward to camera) plane ---> "New Style" Billboard
  18. So if you made a newer corrected LOM model, (for MV conversion) then i think you chose the best way. You need to add only connectors onto wintips (only). Yes, fix pylons perfectly treatable without connectors, by LUA (except: if you dont want to change pilon-shapes/positions or make it visible/invisible on same place)
  19. Hello Combatace, i have only one but very important question: Do you still have your "old", original MAX file of your Su-30/Su-33 models ? coz i dont understand why do you want to convert your file ? (by ModelViewer from LOM to EDM if you have the original in 3DS) :dunno: 1. So, if you have original in MAX you will need to edit the NAV lights, i think you used dual sided planes ---> this will makes the problem with the ModelViewer conversion - in EDM you need to use only one sided plane (BillboardNode) or another option what i call: Starry, what is the older way...these are non rotating, fix planes on all 3 axis, but these need to be dual sided...so this is 6 planes actually for landing/taxi lights you can use/make "old" dual sided planes, or the new style "light cones" (A-10A/C, F-15C/E) Well, ModelViwer conversion usually makes wrong Billboards (coz of dual sided planes i guess) but i saw earlier a converted LOM-to-EDM model which used Billboards in LOM and was parfect also in EDM after the conversion (i cant remember which was it...i will search/take a look 2. The biggest advantage of converting older (CMD/LOM) models with ModelViewer: You can add extremly useful Connectors with MV before the conversion. (of course you will need a perfectly prepared CMD or LOM models. So, missile and ECM pod will travel/move with wingtip ONLY if you will add/attach perfectly positioned Pylon-Connectors to wingtips. (Pylon1 and Pylon12) 3. Do not worry about the blue glare, i will correct it to you, but yes you need to adjust reflection to zero. 4. Another important problems with converted models: materials with "builtin" colors without textures :(...this will no more glass materials in EDM In EDM you must add textures for all glass parts also. In LOM you and other model makers used only MAX-builtin-colours for tinted glass parts: HUD, HUD lens, EOS-glass, EOS-ball, visor of helmet, MF©Ds in cockpit, NAV light bulbs/covers, front glasses of luminares of nose wheel etc. So, in EDM you must use textures for all glass parts (a small 8*8 pixels enough - full green, full yellow textures, etc.) So, if want to use MV for converting you must ignore/forget the "builtin" colours, you will need to add textures for model parts/materials in LOM too. Unfortunately i, dont have time right now, but i will help you after next week. There are many possibilities and tricks to edit/correct LOM models before conversion and/or correct EDM model after conversion. Unlike SkateZilla i am sure the best/easiest/fastest way is using the ModelViewer for LOM-to-EDM conversion. Of course you will need a perfect and properly prepaired LOM model before you push the "Convert Model to EDM" button. http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=1407761#post1407761
  20. Almost ready...need some corrections/adjustments more...unfortunately i dont have enough time for it nowadays...maybe around Xmas... ...DivePlane, MiG-29s, Su-27/33 landing/taxi lights - same, sorry
  21. Check Your P-51D ;) ---> There are from the beginning, maybe earlier DLLs did not handle it in MP mode, but in SP this already for a long time good, as i remember...and there are some tricks more for improved head movement ;) You will see next week within 3GO Su-27 model.
  22. Sorry, currently it work for AI only, but im trying to figure out how to bring this feature for HumanPlayers too. However i think it is not available for FC3-level aricrafts yet...FC3.DLL restriction i guess.
  23. TY That's the adjusted, more turning left & right and added/improved up & down head movements.
