Hey Skate ^ that tand_gear description is also wrong :D "atand" means: inverse tangent , so tand_gear_max = 1.0, means: 45 degrees max nose wheel rotation aside ... tand_gear_max = 3.0 means: ~ 71,56 degrees ;) if you wanna check my "description" then do not see how the nose wheel is rotating under fusalage: that's the animation see how the aircraft starts to turn left/right by rudder (with slow rolling speed) -

Not a problem writing about vehicles but unfortunately im not good in russian :( as you see there are 3 types of BMP in the game. The models use many textures but the main/primary textures are: bmp-3_summer bmp-2_summer bmp-1_summer_01 You can see in ...\Bazar\Liveries\bmp-3\RUS_winter/description.lua file this row: {"BMP-3_Main", 0, "BMP-3_winter.bmp", true}, This is a winter skin. There are also a russian skin in the Rus_summer folder. You can make/edit a new skin. 4xmpl: named to "BMP-3_my_skin.bmp" You need to put your new texture into the BMP-3_"season" folder. So if you have a non-russian spring skin put into spring folder. if you have a russian spring skin put into RUS_spring folder. After it you need to edit the description file: You can assign country also just like in aircrafts description file but firstly you need to edit original row: {"BMP-3_Main", 0, "BMP-3_winter.bmp", true}, to this 1: {"BMP-3_Main", 0, "BMP-3_my_skin.bmp", false}, <-- - you dont need to use dds extension if you have file name "BMP-3_my_skin.bmp.dds Dont change "BMP-3_Main" - this the name of the 3D material. "0" means DIFFUSE map for texture channel more here: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/EDM_plugin#Misc_2 but you need to change "true" to "false" if your skin is not in the main bazar/world/textures folder Edit: you can use/make specular maps/textures also: i saw specular textures for BMPs too in the Y6_FInal_Texture.zip (however DCS not uses yet - in description files) {"BMP-3_Main", 2, "BMP-3_my_skin.bmp", false}

Thank You for the info... about your skin: very nice :thumbup: This is the famous but forgotten Ferris Scheme (F-15A/B) which did not fulfil the camouflage hopes/expectations. Maybe you have enough pictures of the paint but iv found some (old) pics more to you: I quess the left inlet and front part of left wing is unfinished. http://users.skynet.be/exotic.planes/htm/other/schemes.htm

Hi Flanker ! John_x made this model few yers ago, i just converted from LOM into EDM. As i know he works on a new, updated, more detailed model. BTW: How's your job going ? (making F-15 skins) I hope you will make one Saudi and some Japanese skins also, and i also hope E.D. will add more countries officially into DCS (as Eagle Operators) ps. : do you know who made the nice new F-18C and MiG-31BM models ? I guess F-18C was by GK but im unsure about the MiG-31 model. (I do not want to disturb them, id like to make only some small proposals/suggestions)
