Matt, any chance to see some other airfields more ? Not necessarily. You can positioning many things as well without connectors, just using XYZ coordinates... or you can use another connectors just as reference point with "pos_correction" orders :idea:

Yeah, that map will cover from the whole Grand Canyon N.P. across Zion, Bryce Canyon, Glen Canyon N.R.A. to Monument Valley: beautiful and magical places :thumbup:

Plenty restricted areas up there...fine...just really fine :D Anyway, would be fantastic to expand the map a "bit" to east: the area of Grand Canyon would be great to see :thumbup:

Have you ever tried Lights.lua ? (in Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common) Maybe that's good for vehicles also... ...or the same lua destricption in Mods/Tech folder what we use for new addon SFM aircrafts in Mods/Aircrafts folder ? (typename = "spotlight") :idea:

Yeah, but ED uses another format: EDM you know EDM can be exported from 3DS MAX I think you will able to export EDM from Maya, Softimage, Modo, Blender and many other 3D programs as well...if...you need only the EDM plugin for those 3D programs;)

Complete list ? :lol: Sorry, that would be tooooo long :) ,but i can tell you i just almost finished the "new" Hornet external fuel tank, which is not new actually: this is a "transformized" Eagle EFT which is almost perfect as a Hornet tank (shorter and got less diameter) You know, my concept is very old :D but had no time earlier http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?p=1640181&highlight=hornet#post1640181 The problem right now, there is no enough space between main gear doors (doors open too much) so i cannot push back enough the tank to the perfect position. So I will need to re-animate the end of the rotation of the doors: closing a bit to give more space for the EFT as IRL. You know a solution usually brings up another soulution or ideas on another models also, but sometimes brings up other problems as well :D by the way: does anybody actually know the exact length and width/diameter of the F-18 Hornet and F-15 Eagle external fuel tanks ? TY Note the space between EFT and gear door (and the angle of the door to the vertical) EFT position is wrong/unfinished/WIP because of the doors

Yes, you are right i removed the wrong one :doh: That's the noise texture without the small land texture :) One more: if you see Zaelu previous post/images, you can see the different colours not only different mipmaps but different textures as well. (under his coloured textures detailed land textures dissapear and come out/appear low-res land textures from a distance - this works like LOD on 3D models) http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1736272&postcount=348 -

What you see on upper-left corner of your image, that's the blurry "washed" land_l2_-9_23.png.dds texture from LandTexturesSpring.zip or LandTextures"Season".zip As I write earlier there are many textures on same place -

There are two or more textures on same place. If one of them missing then you will get the missing texture. I think the other texture is grass_n_8.bmp.dds Moreover if you see from distance then program use another texture from LandTexturesSpring.zip or LandTextures"Season".zip On the first screenshot you can see the missing/removed land_l2_-9_23.png.dds texture On 2nd pic no noise_1.bmp.dds and no r_for_t.tga.dds texture in the forest On 3rd image only the noise texture removed ps.: I did not try/check your texture mod yet, (so i dont know exactly) but maybe the format of your noise texture is not proper -

here i am :) next time PM me if you need some help ;) what you are looking for that is the noise texture it is placed everywhere on the map (if no noise texture - you will get the missing texture all over) name: noise_1.bmp.dds you can find these (got 4 seasonal texture) in \DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures\LandTextures"Season"Other.zip -
Good idea Mizzy ! I just made a mod: so we will able to use your desert textures as a 5th "season" ;) if you finish and release it
