I tried to hop into a static UAZ (i put it into mission - was not a builtin scenery object) with an ejected Eagle pilot. I walked next to the car but when i hit the spacebar key then DCSW crashed immediately. :( This "jump into car" worked earlier in Warthog Betas... Try to use the spacebar key, that had the get in/get out function earlier which glued the pilot into the vehicle

Have you ever checked Folks how can you (as ejected pilot) jump in vehicles/aircrafts now with this patch ? I mean in previous version we were able to jump in UAZ and other non armed/armoured vehicles, (with easter-egg-mods) but AFAIK ejected pilot and the vehicle what he driven was not visible for other players :( Would be nice to jump in CA vehicles and into aircrafts too as an ejected pilot and transporting back to base and hop again into a client flyable aircraft by MP mission :thumbup: ...Seems DCSW is getting closer to ARMA :) at least i hope...

Oh i see, i think that will be corrected in the future, so you should modding/change hvar-pod for correct look :) What you used that was a sidewinder pod smoke generator model.

Unfortunately i cannot check your model with my "current" old PC with old 32 bit XP. :( (GFX card died in the new rig) DCSW-ModelViewer is a 64 bit application.

Zach, this high "objects" FPS drop problem unfortunately isn't a LOD model issue. Seems "objects" eat more FPS than "triangles", doesn't matter how the LOD optimized. Very strange, but what is certain this problem related to old originally made CMD models which had been converted to EDM. No problems with newer LOM-EDM and newest EDM models. Maybe something wrong with the converter, with the CMD-EDM conversion. I think we should do a FPS-check...a same old CMD model with first LOMAC/FC-ModelViewer (or ingame) and compare to a same but converted CMD-EDM model in DCS-ModelViewer. :idea:

I agree I'm going to pick off that buddy tank from the Viking and puting on the Hornet :) Another brainstorm: puting on KC-135 wingtips too...for NAVY birds ;)
