TY Maybe i will able to fix this issue also but unfortunately problems will not come in the air but near runways (TO & approach) when huge birds will be too close to each other on same runway. (They will want to land in close formation like Fighters) Unfortunately, AFAIR formations on runway are strict by DLL so only AI start in the air or AI start from parking place will be feasible. Formation Take Off - AI start from runway not. I guess landing will be the biggest problem...but i will need to check.

BF4 is not a Simulator and not as complex as DCS. Period. anyway...Calm Down Folks...for few more days :joystick::thumbsup:

I suppose i will able to solve this problem. Not easy, but possible. Needs several LUA and some 3D works. Unfortunately my graphics card died two weeks ago, (still waiting for a new one) consequently I proceed slowly (on my old PC) with ALS ligths, F-16 and multi-layered cloudiness but after these I'll have a look at this paratrooper thing. ;) How many paratroopers able to carry/drop C-17, C-130, IL-76, AN-26 ?

30 km/s? :D That's ~90 Mach.

Yep, but that exploded meteor over Lugo in Italy in 1993 was more "huge" as this Chelyabinsk meteor. Fortunately exploded "much more" higher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_meteor_air_bursts
-
Unfortunately we can do nothing if we see that s**t is coming across atmosphere. This wil already too late. Fortunately this meteor wasn't as large as the Tunguz meteor. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event

Yes, you are right 3 seconds about 1 kilometer. I miscalculated coz i was too shocked :doh: I wanted to write 10 kilometers, on that altitude are forming contrails.

:shocking: Looks meteor was about 100 kilometers away from Chelyabinsk if sonic boom came 30 seconds later :shocking: 250 people injured

DCS Flaming Cliffs 3: Operation Grand Slam

Best 1 minute LOMAC/DCS scene ever to me For me the best part is the catharsis: the epilog scene :thumbup: Homecoming Forever...in the misty dawn Every time when I am watching and listening this scene I get cold shivers and extra goosebumps everywhere, from my toes, through my backbone to the crest of my head. :yes: What a beautiful music from John Murphy with a wonderful speech by Ronald Reagan. Just Perfect. Best 1 minute touching LOMAC/DCS scene ever to me. :) A grateful nation opens her heart today in gratitude for their sacrifice, for their courage, and for their noble service. Let us, if we must, debate the lessons learned at some other time. Today, we simply say with pride: Thank you, dear son. May God cradle you in His loving arms. -
TY JJ Yes, i was thinking about the same ^ Or moreover: i will remove all wing pylons so we will able to put on ordnance with proper APU/AKU rack These are Su-27SM and SM3 but got interesting pylons/racks http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27SM3/1954232/L/&sid=96f9ef5e9825970720442d3d1370659e http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27SM/1879828/L/&sid=96f9ef5e9825970720442d3d1370659e http://www.airliners.net/photo/Russia---Air/Sukhoi-Su-27SM/2170473/L/&sid=96f9ef5e9825970720442d3d1370659e

Would you like to have an exta pair of wing pylons for Su-27 and Su-30 ? :) I wrote it to my todo-list :P ...Gimme Just A Little More Time :music_whistling: Otherwise if you need ejector-pylons on your Su-33/34 then open Su-33/34.lua in ...\Scripts\Database\Planes and edit these: pylon(4, 0,... ---> pylon(4, 1,... and pylon(9, 0,... ---> pylon(9, 1,... ;)
-
@ 0:22 looks like an ingame original old Su-30 model but with inner wing pylons No 4 & 10, dont you think ? unfortunately the video is low-res , so what do you think which pilon was the launcher ? No. 3 or 4 ? unfortunately at present (AFAIK) the launch behaviour is pylon specified and not missile specified so if we change launch process on pylons No. 3 & 8 on Su-27/30 (3, 4 & 9, 10 on Su-33/34) from rail to ejector then all weapons (missiles) will be ejected: R-73 also

No FPS drop. I mean same FPS with/without ALS "bubbles". ~1100 triangles up to now with TZL Some comparative datas: old An-2M static model has ~1400 triangles :D old F-117 model 1.3K-3.8K triangles old F-14A model 2.2K-6.8K triangles old F-16 model 12K-24K trgs new F-18C 120K-250K trgs new F-15C 160K-320K trgs new A-10C 205K-480K trgs (higher trgs numbers: all triangles are visible - with Damage Model, gears down and everything "opened") new F15-PTB 3.6K triangles (external fuel tank model)

I think taxiway green centerline lights are no too common. I guess we can see only @ large civilian airports on huge concrete areas and on high-speed taxiway/exitway. (on some airport maybe activated only when the weather is foggy) (i circled by hand "from taxiway to runway" stop lights: REL - Runway Entrance Lights, boxed flecks are taxiway and ALS lights)* I am unsure about the purpose (early touchdown?, longer runway/taxiway for huge aircrafts?) and exact name of this frontal area of runway with arrows but we can see also some "taxiway" centerline lights here and the last nine rows of ALS lights inside of the runway/safety zone/extended length of runway. (maybe we can see some THL - Takeoff Hold Lights too) unfortunately i dont have photo of this part of JFK runway So, i think i will lowering last 5-10 ALS light rows... need to be in same level with runway (final 500-1000 feet) http://www.airliners.net/photo/Thai-Airways-International/Boeing-777-35R-ER/2193902/L/ http://www.airliners.net/photo/Korean-Air/Airbus-A330-323X/0434904/L/&sid=ff10ed16f6452f9e3fa07474c5e31c97 http://www.airliners.net/photo/Japan-Airlines--/Boeing-787-8-Dreamliner/2212976/L/&sid=9ad9acc767cc1a8d1e41c24b1216b0b0 http://www.airliners.net/photo/Japan-Airlines--/Boeing-787-8-Dreamliner/2194559/L/&sid=9ad9acc767cc1a8d1e41c24b1216b0b0 centerline lights front of (under 4th window) and behind of nose wheel http://www.airliners.net/photo/All-Nippon-Airways/Boeing-747-481D/2194310/L/&sid=9ad9acc767cc1a8d1e41c24b1216b0b0 http://www.airliners.net/photo/Swiftair/ATR-ATR-72-500-(ATR-72-212A)/1598858/L/&sid=ff10ed16f6452f9e3fa07474c5e31c97 http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_DI32I-OBRuM/Swcf5mAmlmI/AAAAAAAAAgA/ifv-TBNZMLQ/s1600/GVA+LVO+(4).jpg ...and some news in the process/progress: added TZL - Touchdown Zone Lights (Tbilisi - Lochini)

Yes, you are right Edin. I know lights must be sank into the ground/in a level with the concrete if those positioned on taxiway/runway (4xmpl just like here: New York - JFK) but im very early in the development. On those images i tested collision models of "bubbles" too :D Sometimes i amortized gears of Kamov or exploded bunch of "bubbles" (and aircraft) when i rolled into lights on taxiway :D In the future all lights on runways/taxiways will be placed correctly, without serious collision model. Lights wont damage the aircraft but will do small bumps (in cockpit) when we will roll/pass over them: at least this is my plan. you can hear rumble-tumble noises when aircrafts roll over light bodies http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=X-xGZhoaKv4#t=63s http://www.powerforce.com.sg/als.php Otherwise many lights (with pillars) are much more higher than 2 meters...of course not on runways/taxiways or front of the Touchdown Zone http://www.airliners.net/photo/Delta-Air-Lines/McDonnell-Douglas-MD-11/0015031/L/ http://www.airliners.net/photo/Continental-Airlines/Boeing-767-424-ER/0764369/L/ http://www.airliners.net/photo/Emirates/Airbus-A380-861/2059423/L/

Thanks Folks, yes i think i am only 30% done with new lights but the updated/edited old airport lights will be released around the next weekend two screenshots with upgraded old lights (unfinished light intensity by distance) ...and some previous images from the new process ("bubble" sizes, colours, and visible coefficient by distance are under testing/adjustment) Note: red and yellow ALSF-2 approach "bubbles" are two meters above concrete on some pics whilst centerline lights, red runway end and green treshold lights lay on the concrete. Later approach lights will get a slope and i will add sequenced approach flashers and treshold/runway edge flashers too. (old lights will be removed) I am also planning to make different ALSF-1/2 and MALS/MALSR Approach Lighting Systems. New ALS "Bubbles" in working process

maximum distance IRL Soon... ...but i have a question: ( principally from real pilots ) Who can tell what is the maximum distance where the runway/approach lights already visible from the sky in a clean/clear night ? (i guess ~50kms / 30miles)...or maybe more ? I think ideal conditions for catch the approach lights early/quickly: no humidity, no fog, no clouds - runway is not close to the sea/ocean no big city lights - no sorrounding lights around airport/airbase and of course early/far position on the extension of the glide slope (to catch the sequential flashing directional lights which is the most visible/brightest/conspicuous/garish point in the night IMHO)
