Thank you. I was getting a consistent 350-400m positional error when picking coordinates from the georeferenced 1:500000 image. I reproject to EPSG:32637 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 37N) coordinate system and I pick up the coordinates in WGS 84. It's only a matter of changing the coordinate units between DMS/DM and the datum between Krasovsky (I presume that is the PVI default)/WGS 84, in ABRIS.

What ellipsoid does PVI-800 use: Krasovsky 1940 or WGS-84? Anyone knows the EPSG code of the PVI-800 coordinate system? Thank you.

Multipath error source is related with hard surfaces GPS radio waves reflections. I'm also thinking about buying this phone because of Android and his GPS chipset. And refraining of not installing an Ubuntu on him :D ... I'm expecting that one application for geodata acquiring will be ported to Android.

Be sure to deactivate the a-gps and be standalone receiver. It will be more accurate.

The GPS chipset of Samsung Galaxy S is not that good, i read that they where not a-gps activated, wich is not the real problem. It was a week receiver with a long time waiting to receive data and fix position. The new GPS chipset of Galaxy S II is a SiRFstarIV GSD4t, with active jammer remover and high-sensitivity tracking engine. That has a negative aspect: it will be acquiring more multipath noise. But we will not be using this GPS for surveing :)

After uninstall Wolverine's Expanded Rearm loadouts V1.2a, I have no problems.

Right now, I'm trying with RICARDO's pits, 6DOF FC2 v1.1 + Simmod A\10 cockpit fix and Wolverine's Expanded Rearm loadouts V1.2a.

I'm failing the integrity tests on the =RAF= and AKADO Gunz. Tried the 51st Server IC default files for FC 1.2.1 v.0.4 and 104th Server IC default files for FC 1.2.1 - 24-5-10 but no joy. Any ideas?

Talking about data: I have access to Portuguese mainland ortophotos and the policies for government and public data in Europe is changing. Perhaps is not that dificult to obtain high resolution images for some areas of the continent.

Not to say that is my primary kind of professional work and nowadays I'm really tired.

I already thinked about start pansharpening LANDSAT 7 ETM+ 2003 images to 12.5m resolution, for western and central europe. The SRTM terrain model with +- 90m resolution is also public available; perhaps I can also obtain the SRTM with 30m resolution for Germany area. But I'm lacking the principal factor: free time to do that :(

Conure, you are missing my and Riptide's point. We aren't defending the necessity of War neither if it's wrong or good. War is a very bad way of solving problems but sometimes people don't chose other way, even if they can chose. Violence exists and people or societies have to prevail when some aggressor don't care about logic, equity and conversation.

He's not joking, only being succinct. But Riptide is being correct, there are people that think on War about commercial and financial opportunities and a solution to unemployment. On the essence of War, is part of mankind. There will be never ending aggression between different social groups, whatever the cause of aggression. And War "is not the continuation of politics by other means", is something profound, since Prehistory tribes. All about vengeance and fear.

I'm more an Asus fan for the components, but your choices look good. I have one Centurion 5 II case as a server and a CM 690 II as desktop, they are great cases, silent and with good airflow. Invest in dust filters because your case will be a houver. I also have Corsairs HX620. Trying not to being eager, but why don't you think on spending more 200-300€ and buying a Core i7 (more bandwith but I'm not sure about the overclocking capabilities) and a 1000w Corsair PSU?
