  3. The fact that our side doesn't have the air supremacy will make us adapt our objectives, routes and tactics. Is not difficult to disappear in the terrain, with a ka-50. More difficult with an attack plane, but not impossible. It's a matter of learning to like the adrenalin rush of completing a mission in a difficult environment. For that is important to have some level of coordination on comms (TS or whatever). The idea to integrate, somehow, VOIP on DCS will elevate the level of imersion.

  6. There are a lot of old jet planes interesting enough to modeling, with the objective of dissimilar combat simulation. Some more: MiG-21bis, MiG-23MLD, Su-17M4, F100D, F5-E, Mirage IIIE, Lightning F.3... There are old jet planes for all tastes. The problem is that being old doesn't mean they are easier to model. Some of this planes are very complex.

Well... from my experience, if I hadn't destroyed my right knee at 2009 and that hadn't obliged me to stay at my bed for months, one year from had cursed BS1 because of being an hell the first trying to ride the Ka-50, probably I wasn't here making noise. I left Lockon on 2003, after realizing that my sexual life was comparable with the Pope's because of simming (right now I have no complains about that :D) .
  12. People, relax. It was explained somewhere, some moons ago, that the Beta DCS A-10C JTAC feature wasn't possible to release because of military contract conditions. Like 1+1=2, we will see that in Combined Arms.
  13. I didn't grab my joystick for two months to finish some loose work (is hard to be a sim addict when almost our work hours are at front of a pc). As I have only some more hours of work to finish (my main PC is processing for 10 hours), I felt on the temptation the last weekend :) . Result: Saturday night, Sunday morning and afternoon and Monday morning :D, from FC2 at 4C to BS2 Stalthurn 104th Fulda Gap (on the commie side) to the 74th VFS. On all this TS servers there were some people to interact. On Fridays nights and weekends, usually, there are some people on these servers.
  14. Sometimes it is not evident, but people (should) have a life :) At least, we must work for the coffee, tobbaco,... ... and state taxes!

  17. page 6-60 (134) flight manual Set PVI-800 EDIT mode, select the TGT PNT. Set "Mode of operation for INU correction" (22) forward (Shkval). Mark a point of interest. The target coordinates will appear on PVI-800. Press "enter". Set PVI-800 to normal and you can choose the assigned target point.

  23. I'm not an specialist but I think it's the main reason.
  24. The fact that the MiG-29 has a worse sustained turn at higher velocities is balanced if the opponent choose to maintain velocities lower than 400kts. With a smaller turn radii or a higher instantaneous turn it is easy to have a tracking shot and make a lot of holes on the opponent plane. :)
