Can someone please explain how the communication with ATC works? When i get takeoff clearance, i get "Takeoff runway 9, climb 300 QFE 28.43". How should i interpret that? Runway designations is no problems, they are named after the general heading of the runway. QFE 28.43 is what altitude the airfield is located at. But i don't know how to set the altimeter when i get eg. 28.43. "Climb 300" is the big mystery in my life atm. So please help me :) :joystick:

You can fly 120km/h at groundlevel (5-10m) in a town and still have full control with this bird. So if you feel it's too sluggish, it is probably pilot error, since this is one of the most manouverable helicopters in the world..

I have a slight, slight play in the stick when it's centered. I'm talking about 1-2mm play at the top of the stick. This can't be felt when playing. I can also twist the stick a tiny tiny bit to either side. I don't feel this when playing. And my throttles have some tiny tiny lateral play, but i don't feel it when i play. Get over it! :) You can't make something 100% rock solid. Because then it will be a rock. And we want a HOTAS don't we? ;) I bet they throttles and sticks in the real deal is way more sloppy then our sticks and throttles..

This is one of the best suggestion I've heard of so far. The mic switch should be working as it it now. Forward is AM, down is UHF and back is FM. But after the comm menu is open, you use up and down to scroll up or down (obviously), and forward to confirm/select and back to cancel/close. Please please ED, make this happen! This would be a really useful feature for both A-10C and Black Shark

Ok, can you explain for a stupid blonde how to use the stick pinky as modifier for left throttle button? :)

As i wrote, i don't wanna use target. Not in it's current state. I'm from Sweden, so if i can't write åäö i might aswell swallow my pillow and jump from my balcony.

I don't see any joystick buttons as modifier. The problem is that DCS sees the TM:W as two separate controllers. And the pinky is on the stick, but i want to use pinky + left throttle button for landing gear..

I want to map landing gear and some other stuff with the pinky switch as modifier. I have done some testing and i can't make it work. I don't want to use TARGET. Sorry if this has already been brought up. I've done some searches, but nothing couldn't find anything regarding this issue.

Anyhow, just toss in the ability for mission creators to enable it with a checkbox. If you don't want it, disable it. We have 'GAME' modes in both BS and W, how's that for full realism? So let us, the customers, decide if we want to use buddy lasing. It can't be that hard to implement, but would open up so many opportunitys. And most important of all, it will extend the life of BS alot.

I practiced some AAR last night. But with the crappy and uneven resistance in my X52. I find it almost impossible to keep it steady enough. I will give it a new go when my TMW arrives.

Since it will take atleast 2 years, if not 3-4 before next DCS is seeing daylight. It won't be a problem saving up for a new HOTAS. I know it's gonna be a supersonic fighter, and it's gonna be awesome :) If ED and Bohemia Interactive decided to make Arma series and DCS series online compatible. They would DOMINATE online military gaming. It would be the most awesome gaming platform ever. They can even take 20USD for the upgrade. Imagine KA-50's, A-10C's, (fighter) and ground units working together. I'm getting all wet thinking about it.. ;)

Hahaha! :) Well, i live in Sweden. And I ordered from a French company with Swedish website. And even though I ordered it almost a week ago, they have failed to send it. Got my tracking number today after I complained. So I hope I get it on Friday, but with my luck I doubt it. And they said the delay is caused by some French holidays. So perhaps that's what's delaying your shipments aswell. HOG HOG! :)

Is there any active Scandinavian or north European squad that recruits atm? Im flying both A-10C and KA-50. And i'm looking for full realism and a few laughs. :helpsmilie:

I bet there is some play in the real deal aswell. You can't make 'em without atleast some play. Since you will experience friction instead, and that friction will eat your throttle from the inside! And i don't want my throttle to eat itself. Now im gonna go back and curse the french for being way to slow sending my HOTAS. It's been boxed since friday, and still they have not managed to send it.
