  1. Make sure you follow the briefing to the letter. It's easy to miss one tiny step or enemy.
  2. Did you check that it was in the same zone? The map has two different ones. 37T and 38T IIRC. IIRC it's the line above the UTM input line you can change the zone.
  3. OT: Mic UP for TIR center and Mic PUSH for TS3 PTT. No radio conflicts, and hands on the hotas.
  4. The WCMD's aren't GPS guided. The use inertial navigation IIRC. I've never heard about laser guided clusterbombs either. But I'm no munitions expert.
  5. It's not as distinct as the other metal switches. It's designed to be moved by your pinkie finger. Yea, TIR is a must have. Don't hesitate, buy it!
  6. Whenever i move the stick or the rudder i press AND HOLD the trim button. When im done, changing attitude, bank or just a turn. I release the trim button and the shark takes control again. Works like a charm. On my TMWH i use the pinky switch (the big lever) as trim, so it takes no effort at all to hold down the trim when i hold (sic!) the stick.
  7. Yes, completed ground alignment or in flight alignment must be done. In short, you have to be aligned.. :)
  8. Stop turning like a little school girl. Grab that stick and yank it around (90 degree turn).
  9. They are not the size of a football field. And they don't defeat earths gravity either. So dont expect them to slow you down if you dive 80 degree.
  10. That is better then the current system, but if you could keep your hands on the hotas all the time, it would be superb.
  11. I'm bumping this legendary thread! This thread contains idea's about a select/scroll function to the radio menus in DCS series. Here's a quick recap: From my perspective, this can't be hard to accomplish for ED. And implementing this into the code should hardly produce additional bugs or misbehaviour of other parts of the sim. Is it possible for a 3rd party developer to implement this function as a mod?
  12. Can i use custom payloads on all MP servers? Or is there an integrity check when you join a server? I would really love to have my own ninja loadout in MP.
  13. They probably have 2 different codes. If leader wants to guide the wingmans LGB's. He simply change to his wingmans code in his TGP or vice versa. But if im not wrong, a flight of 2 never attack at the same time. The wingman is always watching over the leader when he's attacking, to make sure there's no threats to the flight. If both were to look down at the MFCD's, they loose awareness.
  14. You will learn to spot launches as you get more familiar with all the systems, then you'll spend more time looking outside then looking for switches and MFCD's.
  15. This looks promising. Set up a paypal account so we can donate a few bucks. (if it's worth it) :p
  16. I'm really looking forward to this patch. And i hope i never ever have to experience a CTD again. Happened to me twice in a day, it really sucks when you do a perfect mission, and you are about to land the plane after 3 hours. And suddenly, you are back to desktop.. I've paused my DCS life until a stable patch comes out. And i don't wanna pause it anymore.. :)
  17. Respect to ED! You are the benchmark of the whole gaming (sic) industry! Now i'm just waiting for DCS: JAS 39A Gripen ;)
  18. I think they removed the pilots head by mistake. Now they need to invent some clever way to restitch it.
  19. ED will release the RC when all bugs are sorted, or the not working feature is removed. And if everything is ok with the RC. It will go gold. But i think we'll see RC2 before final. That often tend to happen in SW development.
  20. No clue. Enlighten me! :)
  21. No, im not married (yet). But i told her she could redo one of our storage rooms into a walk-in closet. If she didn't complain about me playing simulators. The next day she had a walk-in closet, and she still haven't complained..
  22. Seriously just tell your wifey that you prefer runway starts. Saves you alot of time! :D
  23. ROFL, you oldtimers don't have it easy it seems.. ;)
  24. I'm one of those stupid persons that always run everything as admin, and i get funny replays quite often :) x64 Win7
  25. Sometimes I grab a cold one and just sit and laugh to the replays :) they're like the best movie ever, you never know how they end :)
