So don't even try to pull some info from anyone. There's no idea. Heck, I wouldn't even tell you that I know any top secret stuff, because certain organizations would gain interest in you if you implied to. The manual states which systems that are not modelled in the sim because they are classified. And you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out the rest.

TIR should recognize the joystick buttons as TS3 does. I have Mic up as PTT for TS3 and Mic push as center TIR. And I don't even have Target installed.. :) Just go into game controller properties. Make sure all lights are off in the test page. Then you can open TS3/TIR and assign the buttons as usual :)

Since there is a very slight play in the stick, i added a very very small deadzone. I don't feel or notice it when flying. It's extremely responsive anyways. And i added some saturation for AAR. Now i can keep the hog stable in any formation without the slightest problems.

Would be nice if ED sold Ka-50N as an expansion for BS. That 'simple' upgrade would prolong BS for quite some time. And it would be far more useful as AFAC in the DCS series.

I really hope someone put together a kit or sell preassembled UFC's. I'd buy one for sure.

I tested the SP mission -02. Took off, went to WP3, the patrol started to move. Later another message that they had some rifle going on. Medevac otw. Was asked to contact JTAC. Got in contact with the JTAC. Did a rocket run on 2 infantry units (how i hate the TGP HUD diamond bug) Got them both in first run, egressed, sent OFF. Then JTAC went silent. Circled around but couldn't find any more infantry units at the assigned location. Did another rocket run for good measure. JTAC still silent. So i sent UNABLE TO COMPLY. Then he told me what a great warrior i am and thanks for the help. Went back to AF, and did a complete circle through all the waypoints in case some trigger didn't go off properly. But nothing more happened. Couldn't contact anymore JTAC's, and no more messages. Got the track saved if you'd need it. But it's pretty long.

As it now, it suck goat balls to be shot down by nooby FC2 players when you are in the KA-50. You don't stand a chance. Pairing a lo-fi and a hi-fi sim in head-to-head mp isn't fair imo. The only benefit i see from FC2 and BS compability is in Human vs. AI scenarios. Or if you have equal teams, so you can have ACP protecting you.

IIRC you should reset your shkval after you have saved your targets locally. Then when the shkval is 'off'. Select wingman number, target type finally send/mem button. Edit: The targets will be saved permanently when you reset. If you don't, they will only be stored in the 'RAM'.

Sometimes if you are too quick, engine number 2 won't ignite. It will just be motored around by the APU. So wait until engine cycle light stops blinking. Then it's safe to start second engine. Or, you can hit the igniter switch. But the proper way is to wait until the light stops flashing.

But start reading the manual. Going from FC2 to DCS is a huuuge step in fidelity..

Here's a short track of me making a ninja start. And some ninja 180 turns. This is as tight as i believe you can make them without permanently destroying your helicopter. You could make them without gaining any altitude at all, but they would be much wider. And doing these tight turns in full speed is quite remarkable for a helicopter imo. ninjaturn.trk

I'd only use a pilot if view is naturally restricted, and we get kneeboards. one with mission task, and the other user customizable. So we can use it as a scratchboard.

Gah, don't remember haven't played since Beta 2 (gief Beta 4! ;) ) I can be located amongst all the dials on rear parts of left panel. Or at the forward section of the left panel. Speedbrakes switch is located on the HOTAS. So look in keyboards assignments for HOTAS.

ATT won't place the reticule perfect. In 90% of the times, you must use rudder to adjust.

When im in AH. I select ground moving target, auto turn to target, ungage the skhval, lock the target, select Vikhrs. Then i use RUDDER to move the reticule if necessary. Then press and hold release weapon button.

Haha, i understand what you are saying. My personal belief is that AI will be tweaked if/when they make A-10C and BS online compatible. As for now, we have to live with braindead wingmen. I send them away in the beginning of the mission so they get shot down quickly. No need to have 3 wingmen repeating 'Unable, unable, unable' all the time.

I used one of the missions made by a previous poster in this thread. I believe the tanks are 30% at mission start. And after the tanker said disconnect, I had approx. 95%. I can try to do it again tomorrow and post the track.

Just posted in another related thread but I post in here aswell. I've tried to map a joystick button in TS3 to the warthog but I couldn't make it work. If it works, can someone please provide a step by step guide? I want to use mic up switch for TS.

Is it possible in some clever way to edit config files in order to map stick pinkie + any stick/throttle button to keyboard commands so we can have TS and TIR center? I'd like to have TS on mic switch UP and TIR center on stick pinkie + stick S1 (master mode switch) It would be awesome if it would work since target suck goatb*lls
