is the communication from ED always perfekt, no. BUT they are humans also Software is not an easy task. I work in Fibre Soulutions, so we also have Software that always needs to be programmed. Many many times, our Team have a date and everythings seems to go as planed, but a few hours to the release something very unexpectet happens...... so thats why im not mad at ED for delays at the last moment, this can and will happen. Not just to ED. I think we all need to learn again to be more forgiving. We share the same Hobby and passion, that should bind us, not seperate us. I would never take a day off for a realease date, a module or a game in gernerall will be there after that day no offence to anyone that does it, i just dont think its a good plan since it god anounced im hyped for it and would love to get in the pilot seat but hey, its not like the world is going down if it takes longer than i hoped better to get an good early acces then get a unplayable one .)

just to clarify that i get you rigth, you are in the Kiowa or the A10 im a bit out of the systems now with the A10, but normaly the pilot could make a markpoint from the Target and could give you that cooridinates. From the Kiowa its nearly the same, you go to the target wiht the MMS and lase the point, as soon as you do that you see the coorinates in the bottom left. or you can hold down the markpoint creator button, i need to check the full name its on the CP Stick, this point you can safe, and also can tell the birds the coordinates.

you can create a Targetpoint in the MMS. this Coordinates you share with the Birds. A direct link is not possible

wo hast du das denn genau gelesen? ich finde nichts dazu das die Module nicht auch als Full Fidelity bleiben. Alles was ich raus lesen konnte ist das FC3 um diese drei erweitert wird?

ich nutze eine Achzse, mit eine kleinen kurve belegt kann man das MMS sehr präzise bewegen.

thats where the LMC comes to action. its a bit tricke i know. but with practice and a pilot who can fly realtiv steady you can make it "hold" on to a positon. A Ground stable option is not in the TADS. i think this is a leftover from the times the apache an Kiowas operatet together. The MMS of the Kiowa has an aera and an point track option.

if not mentioned here bevore, id like to be able to set a area where a unit will spawn randomly. My thougt is: i set an area, place a Unit within. with every playtrough this unit will be at an other place within the area i defined. Would be cool to make missions replayable a bit more, without having to programm a lot of triggers with flags

3.3 is a very high distance. dont forget that the gun barrel ist nur very long. have you testet the same szenario with less distance? like 1.5 or so. if there is a bit of wind the bullets can get off target very far.

die soll ja überhaupt nicht sichtbar sein. Die wird im laufe der Mission erst gebaut. Eine voll Mobile FARB die mit Chinooks verflogen wird. Daher soll man sie überhaupt nicht sehen sonder eben nur über die Koordinaten die Position eingeben.

mach ich gern hab bisher keine Ahnung warum es plötzlich geht bei den anderen hab ich das noch nicht versucht. Das Szenario hier ist quasi für Hunter Killer zwischen Kiowas und Apachen gedacht. mit komplett unbekannter Lage und für die FARB bekommt man dann im laufe der Mission erst den Standort

HUHU ich muss mal an die Missionsbauer fragen Ich habe eine unsichtbare FARB platziert, allerdings ist das Symbol dafür immer auf der F 10 Karte zu sehen, unabhängig ob ich sie auf versteckt schalte oder nicht? hab ich da einen Bug endeckt? oder mache ich was falsch

the IAT or the TADS in generall does not compensate wind. with the IAT on a target the computer tryes to compensate the movement of the aircraft, wich works realativly good if you are not at 120 knts we are using the gun mostly when under 40 knts if we want to be realativ prezice

things to considre: first of all, the gun is an Aereal weapon, its not meant to be dead accurate. so a spread of around 1-3 Meters, depending on distance, wind an your and the targets movement. max distance to a stationary target if you hover with, nearly no wind: about 2,5 to 3 km on a moving target about 2 km, but you have to lead the gun very good. if you move gun is best to hit within about 1-1,5 km. What i always do as CPG with TADS is: get target in IAT keep lasing the target an shoot in 10-20 shot burst, then aply an re engage. overall you can be very very dangerus for the enemy just with the gun. BUT you have to train to get better with it mabye you can put up a track, so we could see what you do and hopefully have some good tipps for you

das ist so ein Gedanke der mich noch davon abhält den Refund zu ordern. Egal was da jetztlich raus kommt, aber wenn das Geld jetzt dann auch noch wegbricht ist evtl. wirklich schicht im Schacht. Ich hoffe wirklich es wird eine Lösung geben die irgentwie wenigstens die 4 Module rettet. Was mich halt generell stört ist, das sich ED relativ bedekt hält und Ron halt teilweise sehr heftig poltert. Glaube das ist eher unklug von ihm, aber auch nicht zu ändern.
