Fry's Electronics in Southern California is advertising the TM Warthog for $399.99 through June 29th for anyone that is interested. I saw 4 of them on the shelf at the Anaheim store.

Try around 380x380 to fit mfd's into the cougars Helios will render gauges wherever you tell it to.

Generally an APU should be able to power everything, if it doesnt it may be referred to as a JFS rather that an APU. The APU takes a hit on engine start because it is pulling bleed air from the APU to spin the engines...that is why you get an increase in apu rpm and a apu egt increase because of the increaded air load on the APU. This is not related to the APU generator which will run at a constant frequency to provide power to all the aircraft electrical busses regardless of the air load requirements on the APU. In most aircraft the APU air will provide air conditioning to the pilot with the bleed air and that air will be diverted to the engine during start. This is how a lot of aircraft work...I am not saying this is exactly how the A10 works but I would say i'm pretty close. (My Background... I have been a A&P mechanic for over 20 years on many commercial and military aircraft)

The only thing helios changes is export.lua file. It does make a backup of the original if you want to go back. EMC modifies several files based on which items you chose to export but even those should should not have any effect if you go back to a stock monitor .lua file. What gauges do you have showing? Maybe you can post the contents of the 1camera.lua for us to see what is going on.

IF you want the buttons you will have to use a program like Helios HERE It is Donationware...if you use it and like it support the developer with a donation.

Yes about a week for startup and ordanance usage. But i've been flying this since October 2010 and I am to this day still learning different procedures of weapons employment. The CBU itself has so many settings for different types of spread it takes awhile to learn what setting will work on whether you have a convoy, the spread of the convoy vehicles.....its info overload all the time and it comes to how you manage it all. The CDU itself is so powerful i'd bet most people don't even use 10% of its capabilities. Enjoy its a long road to perfection.

You can do the alt-f1view. Then there is a .lua edit that can shut the Hud off in that view. Then you can export the hud text...though I'm not sure how you would project it onto a piece of glass and then boresight it to align properly with your outside view.......I'd be willing to bet there is some genius out there that can do it though.

If the server does an integrity check on the export.lua then yes helios and hawgtouch will not work.

Helios will do pages and then you can make your own buttons to go to each page.

THis is similar to the procedure above just with 2 Helios editors open: Download Gadrocs profile HERE install the files into the helios/profile folder Open up 2 instances of the Helios Profile editor. In the first one open up Gadrocs profile In the second Helios Editor open and select new profile Select file then add interface select DCSA10C then add In the DCSA10C interface window the box Labeled A-10C Setup may have a button to "Setup Interface" push it if you see this. Now double click the monitor you want to put the MFD's on in the preview window to the upper left(lets just say its monitor 2) this monitor will open up in its own tab Uncheck the fill box to the left so all you see is a checkerboard pattern for your monitor Now go to the helios editor you opened gadrocs file in Select monitor 2 to see the gadrocs front panel click on the left MFD so you get a blue box around it the select control C on your keyboard to copy Now go back your profile and click on the monitor window to make sure it has focus and the select Control V on your keyboard to paste the MFD onto your monitor..... Resize the MFD bezel as required DO the same procedure for the right MFD HIt save often while doing all this You can do this for any panel you want....it carries the bindings of all the buttons and gauges so you do not have to do it yourself

Do me a favor.. I'd like to see a screenshot of your windows monitor setup screen and the resolution that each monitor is setup in the monitor setup screen. What we have here is a ghost monitor issue that needs to be solved. Maybe you can drop your options.lua code in here also...its in the users\saved games\dcsa10\config folder EDIT:Looks like you got it solved. I was kind of going that route with my above request.

If you are not rendering anything from the sim onto the left monitor leave it out of the equation. Set the monitor res in game to 2960x1050 and Aspect to 1.6 or 16/10. Other than that your numbers look like they should work. The DCS export does not recognize negative numbers as in your -1280 that you mentioned as an an example of location...i do understand what you mean by using that though.

Yup Navy Seal Team did the work....report says that they had practiced the raid a few times before the actual mission. I sure wish I could buy these men a drink!!!

If this is any help, I have found a few things that get the labels to disappear this also is releated to either the HUD fonts disappearing or the MFD fonts disappearing. Any mission that is set around sunset or sunrise seems to make these anomalies happen. Anytime I use external views one of the above items will manifest itself. The above items are a few things that I've noticed that make the bug crop up...there are times that it shows up and I have done none of the above.

Just bought a warthog 5 days ago even though my cougar is in perfect shape .....the warthog stick with the hall sensor alone if worth the 500 I spent, the precision is amazing so I feel like I got a throttle for free....what a deal!

LOL....I just bought one on Friday and am having the same issue. She has not noticed yet...but it's a matter of time i'm sure. I bought some of Deadman's covers so maybe I can just tell her they are the same ones just got covers for them. I'll wish you luck cause i'm going to need the same! Just noticed you are in Costa Mesa....I got my Warthog at the Microcenter just up the 55 from you on Edinger.
